Did you log a ticket with Rovio support to investigate?

I had this issue with reaching floor 60 in the Tower of Fortune AND being lucky enough to pick the right card for the Jackpot Egg.

BUT there was a connection issue and none of the prizes were awarded to me. The thing is, I had video evidence and took screenshots, all of which were submitted to Rovio support but they did not compensate me in full.

I did receive the gems I spent in the Tower and some feathers and ME spells but I missed out on the Jackpot Egg and all the other rewards I earned fair and square.

So, log a support ticket and see what they say. I had evidence but still didn’t get everything I won fairly.

You’re right, it should appear on the right-hand side.

I assume you have progressed far enough to have unlocked it?

I suggest a support ticket into Rovio if this isn’t appearing when it should.

@douglas that’s pretty poor show that Rovio didn’t respond at all. Sorry you lost out.

I am hoping this isn’t the case here as I’ve posted about it enough on the FB group and intend to keep it fresh here.

I’m quite keen to share how this is resolved with the AB2 community to at least restore some faith. Or to put on record Rovio’s stance when this sort of thing happens.

I think this is pretty widespread. In the past I’ve been in a very active clan where everyone took part in events and we would finish all the 600 point events but we didn’t always win clan battles, which was annoying.

I’m currently in a clan winning the majority (90%) of our clan battles but never achieve any of the regular clan events, even the events with the lowest points.

On my Windows 10 version of AB2 I am currently a clan leader. We are winning more clan battles than we are losing however we have poor turn-out: the majority of our clan members don’t participate in battles but we still win. The problem with AB2 on my PC is that I don’t play anywhere near as often enough as I do on my mobile phone.

There is a tonne of stuff that the community could suggest to Rovio for improvements. My biggest thing is the rewards for feats:

Havings some rewards, whatever it is, is great and it’s free. But some of them just don’t stack up. The community was disappointed when they removed gems from rewards – I was aiming for 1000 gems for completing a feat but instead got a Lengendary chest. And the crazy thing is the reward for the next step in that same feat is a Rare chest. Less reward for considerably greater effort!

I don’t understand this approach at all. There is no incentive for longer-term players to achieve those feats.

I’ve mentioned before that they should start introducing Jackpot Eggs or similar grand rewards for grand feats.

It’s been a long long time since I started this thread and there is definitely a noticeable difference in how difficult – or not – the Daily Challenge is nowadays.

Over the past week or two, perhaps since the most recent update (not sure when) but the Daily Challenge has been a LOT more manageable. The Boss rooms are not rooms with gaps filled that make completing them extraordinarily difficult without having to spend gems.

As a result, for the first time since the DC rewards were introduced I’ve managed to get a winning streak going in order to get the Lengendary Chest (I got a lot of feathers but sadly for the Pig extra bird, which doesn’t do me any good as I never use him).

I’m hoping the experience is the same for other players but I have to say I haven’t kept tabs on this thread or the forum for some months now.

What irks me the most is that I’ve managed to get to floor 40 a couple of times in the past month or so, without having to spend all my gems, but haven’t hit the Jackpot egg. That’s just plain mean.

When another Feather Frenzy comes round I may have saved enough gems to give it another go at the higher levels.

Yes, as mentioned above you’re almost guaranteed to get at least one or two hats from the Tower – that is if you get far enough!

I got the hat for Red but stopped after hitting a pig.

You can complete levels 1 and 2 with just the single bird but I’m in need of another bird to get past level 3. Let’s see how the Tower goes tomorrow but I’ve found that it’s always difficult getting the right card for the event hats from level 20 on…

Ahh I love a good blizzard! I’ve had so many strikes from it when the structures move enough to topple everything over.

I love it when I get to the last of my birds with only the ice spell and blue left, at least you know the too work well together.

And I don’t recall ever having ‘bought’ any, but maybe it was a long time ago.

*sigh* I was hoping to do so well with this latest adventure, but no.

I managed to get to level 40 but didn’t find the Jackpot egg. On the way I found the hats for Red, Blues and Mathilda and managed to get to level 4, but can’t get any further without an extra bird or getting very lucky.

After this adventure, I will have the Pride, Food and this Botanical hat set unfinished because I simply can’t collect them from the Tower of Fortune without spending money eg, without spending gems to pass so many pigs. At 10k BP it takes a while to save up.

Yes this would be due to the ‘lava level glitch’ or whatever you want to call it, when a part of a structure continues to hit the triggers for the boulders, or if two of them continue to trigger one another causing the room to continue on and on, racking up lots and lots of points.

You can’t call it cheating but it’s certainly not fair that the game mechanics allow the room to continue on like that. It’s never happened to me but, if I’m being totally honest, if it did I would be grateful for it, because I’d feel like I’ve finally had a chance to get some decent points after so many years of playing and feeling hard done by when other problems have occured for me.

Another event in which I can’t get more than 2 birds. Which means I’m left with another hat set that I will need several 10s of thousands of BP to complete. Just like the Food Hat set, I only managed 2.

I really like the little adventures but getting them in the ToF is so difficult and costly.

The extra birds are still on the same 4 hour wake time for me. So I’m not part of that beta group or whatever you want to call it.

Off topic, I don’t understand what’s happening with whatever ‘group’ I’m in. I was given the video option in ToF for a while, after having not made any purchases for some time,  but now this has been removed again too. So not only am I not completing daily quests (because I’m not collecting gem letter rewards), I’m facing having to spend gems to continue in all aspects of the game. That’s pretty rubbish.

Must be a minimum of 40 or 60 gems to revive the hatchling.

I like the idea of gaining more points in MEBC. I never play more than once anyway and always ensure I have an extra bird (preferably Stella) so it’ll be good to have a little extra.

The update details on Google Play for 23rd Apil shows:

“New daily reward in Mighty Eagle’s Bootcamp – Play and earn coins every day!

Now you can revive your fallen Hatchling in Jetpack Run to fly even further!

Other minor improvements and fixes.”

I’m guessing once the new season starts, we’ll see that MEBC daily thing.

And of course, I wonder how many gems or BP it takes to revive your Hatchling.

Looking forward to seeing which new bird this is. Stella and Hal have both been very useful in all places that they can be used in (Stella more so – which is a brilliant addition, you just have to know how to use her ability).

Thing is, we’ve only just had a Feather Frenzy so will probably take a bit longer to unlock this new one.

I do like these little events but Sunday I had a pig on the second floor and decided to quit, and today (Monday) again I had a pig on the 2nd floor and decided to quit.

If it happens a third time tomorrow then something is up!

I barely managed to get through today’s DC (Matilda Mayhem, Wed 7th Feb).

When I played KPP, the first two bosses were OK, but then had one of the ridiculous Boss rooms that would normally (on the Map at least) need several birds and spending of gems in order to complete.

I gave up and haven’t bothered trying again.

Ugh, this is another event I just have to ignore. I got one of the hats at floor 5 but missed the one at floor 10. I had a pig and then gave up.

What irks me is that I’ve had a pig, as usual, regularly on floor 2 or at least before floor 5 and don’t just bother. I really dislike the need to get hats from the Tower because of how many gems you are effectively forced to spend.

To date, I have always had a feather bonus when levelling up, with the recent exception of levelling up Hal, so perhaps for me it’s not triggering for the extra birds. I can’t remember what happened last time with Stella but I will see what happens.

It’s not detailed but there is some information on the store about the updates. My device does not update automatically: I choose when to do it, so I have a chance to see if there is any info, and this time it just said some minor bug fixes as well as two new chapters.

What still isnt’ fixed however is the bug where the wrong bird is thrown. For instance, if I have Red, Terrence and Blues available, and I choose Blues for strategic reasons and instead the bird thrown is actually Chuck. I’ve messed up so many CvC, clan events, DC or KPP runs because of this and it’s been going on for months.

I think you’d get plenty of rewards by simply playing the game without trying to get an advantage by cheating or hacking.

Ultimately you might not be able to play the game at all because of your actions, so it’s best not to bother.

Yes, it’s a good idea to wait a little before collecting rewards, I’ve tried to do this but you have to be careful not to miss out – with work and family it can be easy not to get into the game to check.

If I see another decent card there that I can have a go at for 60 or 80 gems then I too also give it a try.

I almost forgot about the shop and ended up buying a few Legendary chests just to take advantage of the feather frenzy. Got lucky and had some decent feather rewards and ranked up and got a couple bonuses at the same time.

I have only two 11x hats and in not in any rush to get more for now.
