Squawk! Please, DO NOT enter scores using Power-Ups. This includes the Shockwave Power-Up in "Short Fuse". For more info on what qualifies as a Power-Up score see this post. Note, if you've used a Power-Up previously you can still compete by entering your highest non Power Up score. We can tell the difference. Facebook users should not enter any scores on this leaderboard. Also, scores from modified LUA (PC) versions of any AB games will not be allowed in this leaderboard.

iPhone iOS 11. The game on start defaults to Tutorial Level 0-15 and I have to go through the ticking thing to get back to where I want to be. Anyone else got this? It doesn’t happen on my old iPad on iOS 9x.

@admins I’d be interested in fellow players views on this.

@steviep147 Looks like just an emulator for mobile apps, am I right? That’s already been around for a long time in the form of BlueStacks. It’s not really clear from the picture, but are those buttons at the top aiming tools? If they are that would not be OK, if that’s what you mean here.
I don’t know if Bluestacks and this program are the same but I’ve never had a problem with the former. If people enjoy playing that way you can’t ask them to stop, even if it may give them a slight edge. As a comparison, tablets are more accurate than phones, and you can’t ask all tablet-players to revert back to a phone either.

Hi @angrychicken thanks for responding.

Yes I know Bluestacks and I don’t remember that it makes playing any easier However Nox is a whole new ball game which is why I have asked about it. Yes the buttons are effectively tools to assist in game play. You can assign keyboard shortcuts to just about any task; eg restart level without losing your aiming point; use a gaming pad, show x-y coordinates etc. Would it enhance scores? In my view probably.

If anyone has a “working knowledge” of Nox it would be good to know what it can or cannot do.

I may poke around with it sometime, but for now, I’m OK with my tablet.

@admins Some players have managed to enter 700 scores. I thought only 699 were available?

@admins I noticed today that my 2-9 score was missing, which happened to be a high score for this level. Would you like to explain why this was removed? It’s not that much higher compared to the others in the top 10. It is unclear if somebody reported it and it was removed without consulting with me? I have been around these neck of the woods for a long time and although I have not updated all scores yet, I would be a top 10-15 player and have been historically, so it was very surprising to see my score compromised without detail.

The game crashes when it tries to slip me an advert! It amuses me in that I’m sure that’s not Roveo’s intention. This game now takes up so much of the CPU on my iPhone 6 that it just can’t cope. Anyone else? Do Rovio know about this I wonder? @admins

As a bit of fun I thought a few Nest stats might be of interest. Please feel free to add some of your own.

The highest single-level scores achieved so far are:-

1. Tutorial – Level 0-15 at 485k. 2. Short Fuse – Level 27-15 at 437k. 3. Jurassic Pork – 35-12 at 395k.

The biggest point margins between 1st and 2nd place are:-

1. Mine and Dine 103k. 2. Jurassic Pork 90k. 3. Birdday Party 87k.

The highest scoring Episodes are:-

1. Jurassic Pork – 10.2m 2. Birdday Party – 9.9m 3. Piggy Farm – 7.3m

interesting. for jurassic pork i think one can play for 10.250k. wrt 35-12k; that must have been a very lucky run (since obtained after one day of playing the level doing nothing special, so one would expect closer scores).

no data to add, but some years ago considered computing statistical data on all levels (if only to see on which levels my time would likely be spent well, in likely improvement, ks/hour), on top of the average provided by abn, such as variance, median, or even some distribution graphs, but concluded that would only be feasible by automation, and decided against writing a program as it would involve reading data from web-pages (with unspecified format, so subject to change). (and moreover, why make that effort as it would be relatively easy for the admins, who could even include time-stamps for scores, e.g. to detect whether levels maybe have changed as measured via scores).

Thanks @vuelva. I am not a computer programmer so cannot comment on the ease or otherwise. However it would be of help to know when, time and date, scores were obtained to enable one to make a decision on whether or not to try beating it. I can view when my own scores were entered but not anyone else’s. Perhaps @admins could help here?

@steviep147 Thanks for the interesting stats. That ShortbFuse high score is mine, and even after four years I remember the thrill.

Nice one @whoosher. Amazing score. @admins it would be nice if someone could show an interest here! Particularly regarding scores and entry dates. It would help. Honest!
