Finally got to TOF flr 30 and got the 4th hat being bombs although it cost me dearly to pay the 400 gem pig to get there. Pigs on floor 4, 9, 18, 28, 29 so a costly run with video to skip the 800 swine. You can see where Rovio builds your confidence but then slams you on the intermediate floors. I’m still having a hard time getting past level 3 with 4 birds somehow 1 pig remains in room 5. I feel Rovio really rigged this event.

I bet the ninja hat is an error as seen previously after season end. It was nice to see the store open early during the double feather feature to buy the 100K option. I hope they give another double one to use after turning the ME frame in but who knows. They ironically took down the double feather reward from DC and Arena just before the end of the MEBC season.

Was on a streak until level 7 to earn the Legendary Chest and fell short of the last room. Will keep trying and don’t think it should be too much trouble to master.

I agree…some of those extra birds really screwed me up and I got a far less of a score and coins than usual. Hope they revert it back fast. I could never master that green pig extras backwards move thing. Always gets wasted and seems ineffective for most pig towers.

Sometimes luck finally comes around. On the last day, Rovio gave me a super rare run to floor 55 and ended up with every hat minus Matilda for the first time ever. Highest pig was the 200 gem pig and I got more gems anyway. Every time before that I would get 2-3 pigs before level 10 and I would quit. I recommend only hitting the high floors after seeing 1 pig or less per 10 floors.

I always thought the ranking was based on how well one played during the event instead of score. For example, I noticed that when I placed near the top, I usually finished efficiently with more birds remaining, and got more strikes on levels. Maybe Rovio made an algorithm for scoring this. Anyone agree? No idea if that’s how it actually works, just my speculation.

3,4,5 KPP today for me… Best of luck.  New map I think. After buying 3 more birds on last round the boss got stuck on a stud and didn’t even budge…game over lol

Or has it always been…? Haven’t seen Hank around in quite some time.</p>
The’ve even forced the videos after some map levels beginning the vid without the courtesy of our option. Getting out of hand. Still enjoy the game tho.

Rovio is probably scaling back damage so more players pay for the replay button when u find your bird does nothing…and they increased the replay button to 60 gems from I think it was 40 or less…SMH</p></p>

For once I’d like to get 5 hats before the end of an event but I always hit a ceiling at 4 with 30k BP long term requirement to finish the slingshot upgrade.

Still stuck on round 4 for a long time w/4 birds and barely care to reattempt. Even throwing more gems at the TOF doesn’t help to get to a high floor as mostly, we’re punished with more pigs…I guess its best to save the gems and wait for a “good” run.

Final KPP was ridiculous I didn’t even watch a video for another bird…don’t waste your time today

They set up the flower shooters with such low velocity that your birds can’t even damage the KP. One of those days where the prior rooms are tough and even when u nail them u find a boss beatable only with gems

Adding the extra coin earnings per day allowed me to continue one Roman hat per season, I also missed finishing the Samurais and wish they discount those again too. I expect once Roman hats are through they will introduce a new series?

Yeah @Aggieguy I feel I’m also “capped” at 1250 for 3 seasons and can’t seem to improve to Emerald1. At least we have the extra coins to afford more…looking forward to finally getting the slingshot upgrade.

@douglas, I had same levels, I only thought today’s KPP 3rd round was tough because they put a ledge block by the exit right where the king would roll off to die after the slime, he shockingly hit a stop. Typically, this is the classic point where Rovio expects us to be desperate and pay endless gems… so I closed out since I spent too much to win the dumb Arena chest streak (only 500 BP in leg chest) Good for today.

Not doing so hot myself. With red, blues and bomb I’m still hung up on level 2 but would rather focus more on clan battles and such since it’s so tough to unlock these hats from TOF even when I hit the high floors.

@aggieguy, my rare chest 2nd card was increased from the 60 gems to 120! I’m not longer going to gamble that unless the highest card is there (1500 BP 150000 feathers etc)….so much greedier the game has gotten.

Still stuck on level 2 with 3 birds. Somehow I made it to TOF floor 58 and only got Chucks hat with FF. Paid the 400 gem pig and got the jackpot egg so I was happy for that at least. Made back most gems as well. Strange how I missed all the higher level event hats tho.

Yeah @douglas, My last KPP got stuck on a far right ledge out there for that reason by rovio. Don’t spend 60 gems like I did…teaches me to go back to being a cheap skate and to never go for that risk. The room was full of gravity machines. Chaos.Very lame with 5 rooms and even when playing well, u hardly have birds left for the boss room. Total gem grab.

The DC boss today was a new room for me. Tried it twice and couldn’t land good hits on the king because he just falls in the hole obstructing any shots. Done trying already. Anyone manage to beat it?
