What’s the difference between the two types of tickets awarded?

 

The ones for level 1 and 3 appear purple. The latter ones are brown.

The one for finishing level 5 allows you to use either gems or the tickets to play the TOF, with two “play” buttons.

All I know is that if you use tickets to play the TOF, it won’t allow you to watch the video upon hitting a pig, I will just quit if I hit the pig at floor 2, it’s another type of gem sucker.

The change makes me want to abandon the MEBC, I can hardly get more than 30m points in the first run, but I used to score 60-70m on average before the update.

For the new update, it’s only about how many gems are you willing to spend, because each bird can only be used once, you can memorize the rooms and plan beforehand,

In the old Mebc, you could get different extra cards. If you get the right card at a good timing, you can score a lot more, and get a lot more coins in those lucky days. The old one is fun to play, and filled with infinite possibility, dynamism and surprise, the new MEBC is just another boring pay to play crap.

I bought every x11 hats with discount since the introduction of the MBEC, never bought other items.

I bought Bomb’s hat this time and bought feathers for the first time (200000 feathers), because there was feather frenzy.

It makes the situation worse if you have Silver or Chuck next to the blizzard spell.

Btw, it is advised to bring 4 spells (without the blizzard) to the Arena, if you make significant damage to fill up the meter twice in the first room, you will be awarded the blizzard as the second card anyway. If you bring 5 spells, you will be awarded nothing for the second time you fill up of the meter.

This is much easier than the previous “old hats” adventure. You can complete it with one try.

Totally stopped playing the arena for a month, the rewards are not worthwhile, and too many rigged levels. Always having opponents suddenly score way higher points than usual with the last bird to surpass you.

I have got 5 hats this time, (didn’t get Silver’s and Terence’s hat), able to complete the event in time.

Since I couldn’t complete the last 3 events, with only 2-3 hats each time, I spent more than 4k gems last time but only got 3 hats, spent around 1k only but getting 5 hats this time.  I guess they won’t allow you to finish every event. The odds of getting the hats at the TOF is somehow predetermined.

They have also removed the choice of watching a video for a bird in the DC and KPP since this event.

Maybe they have played multiple times before recording a perfect run. IMO Bird strength won’t increase with higher FP, only the score has increased.

It was reverted to the 4 hours setting since a few days ago, I mistakenly pressed the wake up button of sTELLA without noticing that they have changed the rules again, wasted 200 gems.

@joeb I experienced the same, used to get 4 or 5 hats in the older events. I got only red, blues, and chuck’s hats for the last 4 events, there is no way I can finish the events. I have spent nearly 3k gems and reached floor 30 for 3 times, but I couldn’t get bomb’s hat.

I got 2 fancy hats during this event. It’s better to spend the BP on the x6 hats. As you may get the x10 ones in the tof or legendary chests.

the most difficult part is the rigged tower, I got the worst 3 birds only. I have watched the video in place of the 800 gems pig on floor 29 yesterday , picked a 25k legendary hat. I should quit on 30f but wrongly pressed the ff button, the 1600 gems pig appeared on 31F….

I can’t get Bomb’s hat or anything above 20th floor for the recent 3 events. I don’t bother to buy back those hats in the hat shop, too, they cost too much nowadays. I was collecting those 25000 bp sets before the introduction of these 10k hats.

I have lost interest to complete both type of hats, they made it close to impossible to get all the sets, and take away the fun of playing the events.

Seems they have messed with the hat positions, the previous strategy of picking a specific card with respect to the floor doesn’t work anymore, it’s better to use the ff button on the hat floors.

It’s the one with the trampolines and the Foreman Pig is positioned high above, you have to waste a few birds to get rid of the crap first. It’s a common level on DC, whether you beat it or not depends on luck, I failed, didn’t try again.

I still got just Red and Blues, hate that even if you can reach floor 20 or 30, they still won’t give you any hats, with all the wasted gems. There is no fun at all, don’t bother to try the event levels.

Bubbles’s FP is now 140, all feathers rewards are orange.

Yes, suddenly all 3 birds were available yesterday, when I chose Bubbles, it was available for 24h, and it is still awake now.

I am using the iphone X, the app crashed when the it is launched for a first time everyday, but it runs normally when I re-open the app. I can still play it. I may not take the risk of following the above instructions.

I have got 3237 coins, I bought Matilda’s hat, hesitated to buy other stuff, I guess I will save the coins for the next season. It may be worthy to buy 50k feathers in case there is another double feathers event.

Every day is at least 4-5-5 since last week, I couldn’t complete DC for 5 days in a row. Sometimes I watch a video for a free bird to clear the second last room, just to have a glance at the boss room, so I can determine whether to try again or not.

Maybe it’s the issue of reaching above 100fp per bird if there are some events to boost the FP. I guess  FP and “winning streak” are two factors affecting the number of rooms.

@doulgas, same here, struck the 400 gems pig way before floor 30, I have given up on the event. Total frustration.

Sometimes you get 2 birds in one shot, sometimes not. To pay safe, you have to allow for two seconds between you get the first card and the destruction of the golden pig. Very good timing is required.
