Anybody got a work around if you were upgrading Flamewar. Was upgrading and the upgrade is finished but as the game automatically goes to the barracks to advise upgrade complete the game crashes on start up and I am unable to get into the game.

Congratulations to Rovio for another update that prevents the game from opening. If you aren’t going to product test an update could you please not release them in the middle of a new character event. Given we get 52 events a year the only events I care about are new character events where I try and get the new character and accessories and now that progress has been halted. But don’t worry I’m sure we will get apology tokens in the next event that nobody will care about.

Do they really expect us to pay real money for the Prime Pass to have more things in the token exchange than crates and coins after the last challenge where many of us lost more tokens than what was compensated.

Is the work experience kid running the current event. I am now down 3,600 tokens. The 2,600 tokens I earned by playing the challenge yesterday (wood block day) never got added and my 1,000 bonus tokens for 1st place today (gold brick day) failed to be added. With the 1,500 “apology” tokens as reported by @grimlockdown that still means I am down 2,100 tokens.

@exientgreg the tokens I earned today failed to add on. The 500 tokens I won for finishing 2nd have been added but not the 2,600 I got during the day.

@exientgreg Well this event has suddenly become a waste of time and gems. I was sitting on 5,500 tokens and finished 1st. After collecting tokens I expect to see 6,500 tokens and instead I am looking at an amazing total of 100 tokens. Could someone please explain what has happened?

Having stone as minus blocks (having any minus blocks) just sucks the fun out of the game. It is a shooting game where your goal is to shoot everything. Now I have to be careful about what I shoot, with Pig City being just a waste of time. Even if you are careful they just put a shotgun pig behind a stone block tower that destroys it dropping your score for you.

Well this is wonderful the target blocks today you loose points on.

Sorry Rovio just stuffed up their colouring the target blocks (white) are actually the blue glass blocks. The (white/grey) stone blocks you loose points on.

@deindiaan they have. Just reached 200,000 points and the tokens never exceeded 2,100 and there is no additional level beyond 200,000 to aim for.

Are game updates designed to drive people away from the game? The game is already a grind with the never ending weekly contests but then you go and increase strength of enemies and weaken bots and their accessories. Current Ultimate Megatron event the elite silver shield flying pigs and sharktihogs are invulnerable to Goldbite Grimlocks attack (the missiles also seemed to take longer to destroy as well) meaning taking time to constantly recharge him after a run and Ultimate Megatrons acid rounds no longer having any effect on stone blocks or gold blocks decreasing the scoring ability meaning having to do more runs to get the scores required. Remember this is a single bot event so it’s not as though we can switch to a more effective bot for different parts.

I was thinking the same thing. Acid Rounds seem to have zero affect on stone blocks. Stone blocks only get destroyed by a direct hit. Used to take a few shots to destroy a stone block structure but not 1 shot per block.

I’m joining the ranks of people who now can’t open the Challenge Run. I read the reviews that the update wasn’t working so delayed updating till last night as the event with the new character probably starts today. Don’t really play the challenge run as it is boring and have a lowly promoted Devastator so it not working didn’t really bother me last night after I updated. However, this morning I look at the Daily Quests and have the Start A Challenge Run as one of my quests.

It is once again Balloon Pig day and the token levels are still the same as All Pig day despite getting lower scores than All Pig day. As it is the token levels for All Pig day are far too high. I have been able to max out the other 3 days with only 2 recharges All Pig day I used three recharges and still failed to max out the token levels.

@lewie4 why don’t you just call the new challenge “The Gem Grab”. Costs 2,500 gems to open. You have no choice in the bot, you have to use Devastator so if he isn’t upgraded or promoted you have to use gems and sparks to upgrade and promote him. Then you spend gems to revive him and recharge in order to finish in the top 9 to be promoted. It says top 10 but I finished 10th twice and it failed to promote me both times. Then on the last day out of frustration you don’t spend any gems (just do the 3 runs) and finish 20th and you get nothing.

Should we have received the prizes. I went in tells me I finished last (20th) and now I am starting again. Prizes are supposed to be paid out to 20th place.

Adjust the token levels for balloon pig day. At the moment the levels are the same as ALL PIGS. The scores are not the same as all pigs. Reduce to the same as Helicopter pigs at least.

@asen there are a few characters I would choose ahead of Devastator. I tried Devastator on the spark run to see if it was worth adding sparks to him. He died before getting through the second part. I have characters that can get through the entire thing without dying or at the very least get to the last part before dying so no Devastator is not the strongest bot in the game as you seem to be alluding to.

I’ll also add only being able to use Devastator is very much a low light. There are other characters I have spent time upgrading and promoting who I would much rather use.

Wish I read this before I spent gems opening the area. I have buyer’s remorse not only do I not understand what the rewards are (or how they work with the different leagues) but after spending 2500 gems to unlock the area I now have to spend gems to do more than 3 runs. Also Lewie said they may look to decrease the cost in future. Maybe by then might know how it works.

Not sure what you are doing to get Devastator in and out of Astrotrain but what I would like to see for him and future combiners (if possible) is for characters to come out and combine before the level starts. For example Astrotrain lands Scrapper and Mixmaster exit and form the legs, Hook and Long Haul exit forming the body and finally Bonecrusher and Scavenger exit forming the arms with the level then starting and at the end have the reverse with them uncombining to reenter Astrotrain.

It would be really useful if the bonus squad was able to kill all enemies in a run. Although it is ground pigs day my level 16 Energon Lockdown with Explosive Rounds still dies when the twin elite shield flying pigs shows up. Not only can he not kill them but I empty an entire clip (+107% clip size) into them and not even a sliver of damage is done. Ultimate Megatron can kill, hand out damage or has gravity force drag them to the ground but he is not bonus squad.

Seems the programmers forgot to put in Boss Pig and Unicron Pig. Almost 2 days are completed and haven’t seen either of them.
