Is the new star scream variant maybe supposed to be Starscream’s Ghost? I got him for the first time today as a companion and while traditionally starscreams ghost has just been displayed as see through this extremely battle damaged variant struck me as being very dead or zombie like in appearance And might be a cool take.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen where they’ve fully explained how the algorithm supposedly worked. I’ve been under the assumption it’s rigged; either the algorithm is faulty or everyone picks the heroic side and it’s not possible to win with deceptihogs because not enough people are not going to choose to not be heroic.

This game needs Terrence as Omega Supreme. Should be as big if not bigger then ant combiner. I keep picturing the ordinal version that was a combo of a tank on a track and rocket.

I have been trying forever to get a walking mortar tower so I can emp it but aside from the few times one has appeared my bots or the helper bots keep destroying them before the emp takes effect. Meaning I have to keep trying. I think I’ve also just figured out the mortar towers are only appearing on the higher-gem rewards which is why this is proving so difficult. Is there any way to force those higher rewards?

None of you must play first person shooters. This is very familiar to me as a player of Destiny 2 and I’m told d2 ripped it off from something insanely popular like forte night. The Destiny version is split into 3 month seasons and is based on xp (experience).it is divided into to two tracks of milestones, a free one and a paid one—if you had the paid one you got both rewards otherwise only the free. Each season is $10 and includes lots of content like story missions game modes and more.

 

$20 for two months Of questionable seems pretty pathetic. No way I’m paying that.

Was going to ask what deal price in gems people were being offered.  I got 2000 but there is no way I can afford to pay that so I was going to see what they offered for ‘last minute’ discounts today but I didn’t get any. Did anyone have better deals?

There are two diff end ‘white’ block colors. I think they were going for the two primary colors of kup and they didn’t do anything with the others. I agree it’s confusing.

You using Alpha? He has a ground shake ability that activates whenever you transform into a vehicle. There appears to be an issue where if you activate this ability with him it will remain on for the rest of the level even when you go back to bot mode.

Well, I’m out for at least two or three months to get the gems unless I have to spend them on something else. I see there is a new character about to pop up and I can never collect enough tokens on new character weeks so I’m often forced to buy and the game does not sell the new bots cheap.  There is the option to buy the gems direct but I haven’t seen anything to justify spending $50.00. ugh.

Huh. I occasionally experience problems connecting to the servers when I launch the app or switch to it. Been doing so for as long as there have been events though sometimes it’d more frequent and persistent then others. All my other apps have no problems . Usually i can switch out of the app and then back, waiting a few seconds each step, and it reconnects no problem. Occasionally repeated attempts don’t work and I have to fully restart the game. That nearly always works.

Any speculation on when the new character will be available? Memorial weekend is in the US seems pretty likely but I’m hoping not because I can’t play much at all that weekend (not much time available to access devices and I’m going multiple days to remote national park country where if I do have time  I’m not likely to have bandwidth )

I thought one of the early auto bots was named Hook. He was a yellow crane truck which this new character appears to be.

my research tells me their are two that match my memory: Grapple and Hauler, with Grapple being the more common though both were virtually identical (based on the same toy).

Okay. See this morning that the exchange tokens were gone, which unfortunately were a lot. I had been lucky in the spire for once and received a considerable sum from there (nearly twice what I got from the newsfeed post prior to this ‘reset’) . Was hoping they would be able to merge the two but alas :(

I hope that is factored into any future compensation because after having a decent amount to spend for once it would suck to have lost it before I had a chance to do so. Knowing how this usually works though it probably won’t be.

In my game the token count in the token exchange is different from the token count in the leaderboard. This has happened before many months ago. Any tokens I get from dailies or shockwaves spire goes to the token exchange total while any I get from accumulating points in the event go to the leaderboard count. I am able to spend the exchange tokens but not the leaderboard tokens. The tokens I got from the newsfeed went to my exchange total and did not merge the two.

I played a couple rounds and noticed I did not have a leaderboard. I also saw no sign of the newest bot, did see energon shockwave available though which I don’t have. Forced a restart and now I can’t get into the event at all. The game asks me to check my internet connection. No sign of the new bot in offers. Have tried restarting several times now and no luck. Checked the App Store too and no updates.

My thought is to not even worry to much about the leaderboards and your position on them they are nice bonus tokens but if you don’t get the highest amount it’s not a big deal. Concentrate on attaining all the reward levels you can, that is where you are going to get most of your tokens. Most of the time I only spend gems if I am close to the next level or leaderboard tier and think the points I am likely to get are worth the gems I am about to spend and the tokens I will get and what I need to buy something. Spending anything over 40 gems is increasingly unlikely to be worth it. Most of the time I end up finishing 6th or 7th or around there, sometime higher sometimes lower. The leaderboards are a real gamble, you never know how many real players are on them or if they are bots, cheaters, hackers, or just don’t care about how much money they spend; some people just want to cause chaos. there is no real pattern to what you get day to day. 1000 tokens is real nice don’t get me wrong and I have gotten it a few times but most likely you’re only going to end up with a few hundred tokens so don’t get wound up over it.

What other ‘twists’ might they come up with for the standard event formula? One idea I had was for an ‘opposite’ event: you start out with a max percentage and then are subtracted for each rank your bot has-the ones with the least rank get the most rewards. Would benefit newbies and force veteran players to use neglected characters.

They fixed the bug where @droversdog could get gems out of crates. No one else was affected.

Beachcomber fires a pair of rockets that explode on impact. They work great on up close targets as they tend to both hit at the same target but the further away the target the more they will veer off course. Often only one would hit or both would miss to either side of the target. Seemed to be very good against average pigs and blocks. Haven’t had opportunity to evaluate against special pigs or WMTs.

Don’t have any of the team so no point in promoting anybody. Will just have to get along with my maxed out egrimlock. Have all the accessories available to me. Don’t see how I can get enough tokens to buy anybody. Guess it’s just play for the sparks. Will probably use any tokens beyond that for coins to be used for steel chests.

Same here. Have found that if I set Hound to autofire and then call in a friend he will shoot once the friend lands and blocks around the friend explode until I try to target something myself.
