In the comments and post section of each level, you may come across some of these abbreviations and vocabulary posted by experienced players. Over time we have developed our own “code” to explain strategies step by step. They may include the following:

First of all,
ABF=Angry Birds Friends that refers to the app, in general

Slings:
–BS = basic sling or standard sling that comes automatically with the basic ABF app
–GS = Golden Slingshot, a paid sling (US$4.99 last time I checked). Using this sling, all birds do more damage to everything
–JS = Jingle Sling. Buy this sling with your bird coins. First introduced during Christmas season 2012, I believe, this sling will shoot ornaments at the pigs or other debris for extra damage. Besides the GS, this sling is perhaps most popular, in my opinion (I use it quite often :)
–WC = Wood Chipper. Buy this sling with your bird coins. Using this sling, all birds do much more damage to wood
–SC = Stone Crusher. Buy this sling with your bird coins. Using this sling, all birds do much more damage to stone, cement blocks, etc.
–IS = Glass Smasher or “Ice Sling.” Often abbreviated as “IS” to delineate from “GS.” Using this sling, all birds do much more damage to glass or “ice”
–Bone Sling or “Boner” = a special sling first introduced during Halloween 2013, I think. It is not available to purchase with cash or by bird coins except during Halloween season in October. Using this sling, all birds do much more damage to bones and skeletons during Halloween, but makes a powerful alternative sling during the rest of the year, too, especially against “hard” objects :)

Birds:
–RB = Red Bird or simply “Red,” the original Angry Bird and leader of The Flock
–BR = Terrence or “Big Red” or “Big Brother”
–BB = Blue Birds or “The Blues” used in context, sometimes confused with…
–BB = Black Bird or “Bomb”
–YB = Chuck or “Yellow Bird”
–WB = Matilda or “White Bird”
–Boom = Hal or “Boomerang Bird,” sometimes also used in context as “BB”
–many other birds not listed here because they are usually used in other AB games, not ABF

Power-ups:
–PUs = power-ups, you can purchase these “in-apps” for cash or “buy” with your accumulated bird coins
–don’t bother purchasing the “treasure chest.” It contains Sling Scopes and Bird Quakes that you’ll seldom use
–PP = Power Potion (formerly called “Super Seeds” or SS), you’ll probably use this PU the most followed closely by…
–KS = King Sling, which adds power and distance to any bird, followed closely by…
–WM = Wingman, which is Terrence (BR) dressed in a “samurai wrestler” suit, a bit more powerful than “naked” Terrence
–BQ = Bird Quake, use sparingly, often comes in handy to topple the last bit of debris and pigs
–Scope = Sling Scope. Sometimes referred to as SS, but used in context. Not to be confused with SS (Super Seeds, now called Power Potion or PP). The Scope is rarely used by anyone except in practice to find the optimal aiming point

I just figured out this trick today and thought I’d share since I didn’t see it anywhere else (that I found!). It’s a much easier way to get potions…

I had seen suggested before that if you are fairly high level you can play the easiest Friendship level (Northern Slingshot Woods 2) with Piggy McCool and keep hitting the replay button to get snoutlings, which is great. But if you ALSO use the rage chili on him every time it fills, he gives a couple berry juices and a couple veggie cakes each time. These build up really quickly and it is much quicker than farming all the materials!

In level Western Slingshot Woods, the one with the Adventurer pig, I’ve managed to git 60.000 points, but it shows at the end of the level that I have 37.500. I’ve made it with all birds on full health. Sadly, that’s the reason why getting 3 stars on this level is impossible.

Celebrations everywhere !!! (except Brazil…frowny face for them…in a word: brutal)

1,400 challenges completed (324 – 349 – 256 – 270 – 201). Fitting for my milesone, I needed 7 king slings to get my 1 challenge (hehe…German fans loving that reference…too soon Brazil fans?)

I’m also up to 5,150,500 bird coins…guess whenever the update drops for Android, I’ll get to complete many weekly challenge races…why we can’t use these for power-ups like before is just the evil Rovio IAP monster showing how greedy he can get.

4 episodes stuck at the “use all power ups – 3 races” … Sub zero requires a 5th kart as stuck on those right now (maybe I’ll find a telepod cause I can’t seem to win one on weekly challenge)

+Top Speed: Favorite Fast Karts

— It’s why many of us play the game … to go fast! TOP SPEED is so important but finding a kart that works for your style is more important….You’ll find me reaching for Seedway’s Big Bang L6, Rocky Road’s Big Burner L4, Air’s Green Baron L6, Stunt’s Dragster Snout L6 (Telepod) and Sub Zero’s Shred Sled L6 when I got a challenge I want to over come. Max’d out these karts top speed and acceleration the minute added to my garage. Heck max’d out all my karts too quickly ala my 5 kart on SubZero problem! I’ll never learn my lesson as I did this on Air too!

+Acceleration: Favorite Fast Drivers

— Who doesn’t love dominating the race with your best performing driver? My top 3 are Red, Chuck and Corporal Pig. The thrill of timing their power boosts and ACCELERATING the right time. We absolutely love staring down our opponents as we fly by them or crossing the finish line before the Boom and “flipping the bird” at the time keeper…muahhhh lovin’ it!!

+Handling: Favorite Fast Tracks

— Are you a finding yourself returning to specific Seedway, Rocky Road, Stunt, Air or SubZero tracks? Are you King of the Road on any of them? Favorite track of all time is Stunt Track #2 … I’ll never forget the first time approaching the cork screw bridge … my jaw dropped at the graphic at the speed you can get going in and coming out of it cleanly….plus the fun you can experience wrecking others! Honorable mentions to Rocky Road Track #2, Sub Zero Track #3 and Seedway Track #2 cause you can have a lot of fun drifting and HANDLING on these classic layouts

+Strength: Favorite Race Move

— Are you a drifter? Do you like to do the 360 spin just because you can? Are you a bump and run kinda racer? Do you love to slingshot off and land on your poor opponent? Do you laugh and get giddy when your kart takes flight?
— Who doesn’t love tapping the left or right bumper causing your opponent to fly off into the wall….what sportsmanship? you get points and reward for showing STRENGTH and taking out opponents
— Do you love damaging your kart just to see how long you can go with only two wheels? oh yes…I’ve been able to remove my two front (or back) wheels without re-spawning or having my poor driver fall out of it. It’s all about knowing the STRENGTH of your kart. What’s your favorite race move? I can’t decide cause all of these are what make me smile :)

An easy way to grind Snoutlings I’ve found is to use Piggy McCool and replay the Northern Slingshot Woods 2 or 3 level, via the (top left) friendship gate on auto pilot.

I rack up about 25 per go, approx 900-1000 per hour (depending on the occasional 50 drops). Also good accumulation of wood and seeds for crafting.

I’m now on version 1.0.10 and finally decided to pay to open friendship gates. It seems that many of the first friend’s levels require that you use a friend’s bird, while this wasn’t true in the walkthroughs. True, you can use Piggy Mc’Cool, but only for one level every 12 hours. Haven’t found out if all the second levels require a friend’s bird (for obvious reason).

Hey Aft … are you launching off the slingshot behind opponents…if you tailgate or drive side by side….almost stuck to your at least one opponent (airborne or not) by the time you get to bottom of hill, you could be 35,000 – 45,000 points….even 50,000+ points by time you get to first left corner

They other key to this track to score high is to battle the “1st” place racer from this point forward….tailgate, smash, drift with this opponent as long as possible….goal to be over 80,000+ before the first large set of boost pads….goal to be 100,000+ by time you cross the water and get to the first set of wooden bridges….if you’re over 100,000 there, you can get to 130,000+ by time you reach the gap between bridges (even if you don’t clear the bridge, and re-spawn, it allows opponents to catch up and you steal more points fighting with them)….my goal is to cross the line with 140,000/145,000 by drifting and fighting rest of way

To hit these points, it’s best to grab the fastest racing opponent and mess around with them (drift side by side / smash / tailgate) until the end when you take away their 1st and grab the checkered flag for yourself! It pays off to be a dirty racer! Nice guys finish last on Stunt tracks :)

Using “real” drifting techniques are key to high Stunt scores …not just turning left and right quickly which seems to also be considered “a drift” by the game’s scoring …I would call these “skids” but seems there is no distinction … the use of ABGo drifting is why these Stunt tracks are my personal favorite.

Little tips:

-Sometimes levels will have a pig holding a bag of snoutlings. Defeat it to earn 50 snoutlings!

-Changing headgear or bird types can make all the difference in a tough battle! Look at all the abilities and see which ones will be most useful.

-Need a bird from a friend but don’t have one? Just choose the ‘Borrow Bird’ butto anyways! You can get help from a friendly pig. The same goes for free daily spins on your friends’ golden pig machines!

I am missing something i cant defeat him it seem i need to do allot of damage because he keep healing 200 % of of the damage that he does and he does 300 point of damage but he always healing any help do i need some special equipment to buy

for B4-7 you don’t need any swaps. Just aim your bird high and shoot to take all out all of the chains and set off the tnt. You don’t want to have any debris like rocks wood on top of the upper far right platform. You may need your second shot for clearing the chains on the far right. Using the small tower just to the right of the slingshot aim a little high of it and shoot your bird. It should barely clear the far right platform and when you are clear shoot to the left at the coins. This will take a few trys but I was able to get all of the coins and a 3 star high score of 156460.

Note that if you tap-hold (long-press) over a level on the map it will tell you what the main prize is. Also, earlier stages are generally easier than later stages, common battles are easier than wave battles, and stages next to forges and training grounds are a little bit harder. With these rules of thumb:

Slingshots – Slingshot Woods 1, 4 or East
Bamboo – Bamboo Forest 1, 4 or 6

Stage 4 of each of these may be easiest, but I’m no expert player [smile]! Also note that slingshots and bamboo can be made from wood, so you can always just rack up the wood and go from there. Hit the Replay Battle (center) button after spinning for loot to speed things up.

In my obsessive need to have the best of each piece of equipment I make I’ve found myself going through a lot of crafting materials. The crates and shells are easy enough, wood and skulls aren’t too difficult either, but I’m at a loss for finding good places, that is to say ones that are quick and easy to finish, for the higher end items, which include but are not limited to, the slingshot branches, paper, and bamboo.

So I’m asking the more experienced in this game, where you farm the materials for your weapons and off hands?

@mvnla2- There was no swaying. Just after a reset,& while the bird was settling into the slingshot, the left side would go to pieces like tnt had been used. I could see no reason for it. The pieces would just go flying. There was no even spacing between events. The first time, I had been playing for only a few minutes & just reset. About 40 minutes later,it happened twice within 5 minutes. The pic I submitted was the third time it happened & the one that gave the most points. The final time was about 90 minutes later. Each time, I launched the BB towards the right tower,but never got more points than the amount in my pic. I can’t explain it,so I report it.

Angry Birds Epic Slingshot Woods Level 6 Walkthrough

I’m stuck on slingshot woods 6 with fully geared birds, what am I doing wrong, I really don’t wanna use consumables unless it’s the only way. Anyone know a good combo? I have all the headgear going up to that point which means lightning bird, regular mage and rain bird, knight, guardian and samurai, basic bomb bird and tricksters and rogues. Does anyone know a good combo to use so I can beat it. All my gear is like 2 stars and all of it is completely the best i can get.

Hmm, I’ve gotten a problem twice now today when rolling on the Golden Anvil. I rolled 3 stars according to the animation, but only got a 0 star item. The Golden Anvil is suppose to NEVER roll 0 stars. This happened when rolling for a Fortified Sling, and also a slingshot twig.

Obi Wan’s force is directional based on where you tap/click on-screen. Yours pushes backwards because your tapping back near the slingshot. Instead, tap ahead of Obi Wan.
