Welp, I can take a break now since I’ve bought two new accessories for my Energon Starscream and Thundercracker in just one day. I’m sure this event is going to be a bit easy since not many people are competing against each other. The leaderboard I was placed in for the 1st day seems pretty quiet and relaxing.

Funny. I used an iPad mini with 14.31 GB space left and get the ‘End of the World’ bug twice during the Smashing Pumpkins event. Next, my Wi-Fi at home and college is strong and stable but the game takes like forever to load (especially the event).

In conclusion, it’s the game’s fault.

@optimuspig You aren’t the only one who got trouble going online. It sucks though that I cannot get Nemesis due to this problem and the ‘end of the world’ glitch. In the end, I decided to get Skywarp instead which is fine for me since I managed to complete The Seekers group.

Is it just me or is there anyone experiencing connection error issues to the event? I can’t seem to play it despite the good connection…

I’m torn in between whether to get Starscream or Skywarp. Which one is actually ‘better’ among these two in terms of their attacks?

@soundwave I feel bad for your son though. He has to like fish out a couple of bucks to get Drift just because he finds the competition to frustrating. I do see you have a point there as well.

I never pay anything at all in any games I play (because I don’t have my own credit card :p) but I’ll definitely pay for something if it is worth it. I don’t even understand why they wanted to nerf the Transformers to a point they’re sort of useless, even being levelled up and/or wearing expensive yet useless accessories. I don’t mind if they wanted to make the enemies stronger without nerfing the Transformers. Now, Transformers are nerfed and enemies are stronger, it feels like you’re playing Dark Souls.

Rodimus is also just like Nemesis Prime, a buyable transformer before but now you can get him through events. I do hope that Nemesis Prime will appear for the Halloween event.

I think I will just get one of the Seekers (Starscream or Skywarp or maybe both). I can get Drift in other events in the future for probably 5000 tokens hopefully…

So it’s 11 altogether. Finally, Bomb makes his appearance after missing in action for 2 years despite being a member of the AB team since the dawn of AB than Silver.

Surprisingly there are no events after The Blues Brothers event which is good. Now I’ll just keep doing daily quests then.

@dlurbauer No, tokens you earned from the event aren’t carried to the next event. You might want to spend it on coins.

Maybe other players are busy with life than the game :p I guess this is sort of like a ‘break’ for old players who already have everything this event offers?

I already got the accessories I needed for Prowl and Bluestreak on the first day and left the event lolling around until a new event is coming. Now, I’ll just focus on the event in AB Epic instead.

Come on Rovio/Exient, if you want to nerf something (especially targets), at least do it after the event is over. Besides, there could be other solutions to help solve the problem instead of nerfing everything and making the game look like a child friendly Dark Souls game soon.

I have gained the 60 tokens at 5000 points as we speak.

I think I’ll get the hook for Ricochet if I’ve enough tokens for his accessories.

@optimuspig Same here. Must be shelling out a lot of gems to recharge their energy bar. So far, I didn’t encounter any bosses which is good but I’m still struggling to complete the final daily task (Destroy 1k ice blocks) to get the 40 tokens.

I don’t mind if there is no buddy to help but it sucks you’ve to do it solo style with no help, even from an Energonicon. Looks like E.Grimlock is going to be the most useful here for this event.

Well, it’s good if you can enjoy the events while some of us can’t.

Personally, there’re a few things in the events that makes me unable to enjoy the game besides the bugs, glitches and all. I just wish they can give us players a break while the staff members too can have a break from preparing events by fixing the game first before launching a new event. AB Epic can do that so why can’t AB Transformers? That’s why I’m sticking more to Epic since the events are more tolerable (with less bugs/glitches) and they sort of have a different style of gameplay (some events are story based while some are grouping randomly with other players to take down your group opponent).

@elpapam I do understand they need quick cash but at least they can try to make an effort to understand us (the players). I can see why there’re less complaints in AB Epic is because Epic gives players a week or more to rest before starting a new event. We’ve completed an event a few days ago in Epic and a new one is coming in another 8/9 days.

@elpapam Yup, that was way too low. Jeez, Rovio needs to learn that we are humans like them. We need sleep, eat, time for family/work/school, etc. besides playing games. Even Let’s Play Youtubers need break time from playing games/editing as well.

I feel sorry for those who lose sleep. I don’t know what time the event ended for you guys but I was considered lucky that mine ended at 8am. Accessories events are easy to obtain more tokens (I can complete it all in 2/3 days) but when it comes to new characters, it’s tough.

Last time, events are usually 10 days long if I’m not mistaken but now it sort of reduced it to 8 days or something like that. This sort of pushes players into focusing the game more than other things like school, work or even sleep. Now, we can buy tokens or getting some tokens from daily challenges sort of help to ease the burden a bit but it won’t bring down tough competitors.

@ricoone Or maybe he/she got fired maybe? I remember Rovio have to let go some staff members back then during the production of the AB Movie or somewhere during that time.
