The update did not work on my android 4.1 tablet, however seems to be working on my android phone 7.0.

@futz99 Today is Sharkticon day, so all levels will more than likely be the same with lower than normal scores. Pop as many of the Sharkticon as possible since they are the bonus targets for today. Tomorrow there will be different target bonuses and different levels.

@txbelle01 and others that have a problem with the “Watch Ad Button” not showing up to recharge. One method I use when I’m in the Select Character area where you can pick the bot you want to upgrade, recharge, etc. is this:

1. Make sure you have an active internet connection and not in airplane mode or wifi disabled

2. Select the bot you want to recharge with less than 5 hearts

3. Click on Recharge (if you see Recharge Your Armor! click it as there is no problem)
3a. If you click Recharge and DO NOT see the Recharge Your Armor! option then hit the back button to go to the main Pig Island screen and then collect one or two of the coin collections. Return to the Recharge screen and see if you get the Recharge Your Armor! option now… this works for me about 90% of the time when I am not getting the Recharge Your Armor! option…

I tried @christian-cosgrove strategy 3 days ago and made it to level 30 before stopping after my 3rd pig. Tried it again the last two days and it totally failed costing me several thousands of gems over the two days. With the odds of 1 to 4, seems like a pig would be selected much, much fewer times (which is definitely not the case).

Shockwaves Spire has been costing me a lot of gems with very little rewards to show for it. Definitely not worth it and will be scaling back to only the basic requirements for the daily tasks.

The game has once again returned to an unstable and unplayable state… It is randomly crashing for no reason. I put my table down on the desk while I looked up something on my computer and the game crashed even when not playing it! I’ve also noticed the crashes, hang ups and unstable performance always seem to be accompanied by ads and trickware… Ads are randomly running in the game now also and I believe Rovio gets greedy with the ads and doesn’t care about the stability of the game.

Is anyone else experiencing extremely sluggish gameplay with this event? I’m talking about 1 to 3 second delays with almost every input or action. It occurs on both my tablet and phone. There seems to be pauses in the game operation. For instance previously on the main screen I could collect the coins nonstop clicking on each one of them, now after two or three it pauses and the screen will shift to catch up with any other clicks on coins. This causes major problems during game play as sound, inputs and actions are all thrown out of sync.

Oh, and the crashes are back too. I’ve had two so far since the event started.

Seems like multiple people are only getting half the number of runs in today (myself included). I had only 4 of 8 without crashes! :( In terms of the multiple devices, I didn’t have a problem with it before… but lately it seems to struggle to keep my two devices synced even with Facebook turned on within the app. I find the game runs better when NOT using Facebook, so I will disable it most of the time and then turn it on to sync with the server sometime. Doesn’t always save my progress though.

@datguygamer this is what I’m talking about… you can see in the first screenshot I took yesterday after purchasing the accessories that I OWN the gold crown and the shoulder pads… then in the screenshot from today neither of them are there and wants me to buy them with gems again!

@datguygamer yes the purchases don’t show anymore and only shows gem cost. They’re supposed to show owned as I equipped the bots with the accessories

4 of 8 runs have crashed on me today. I refuse to chance a single gem for 2 runs. My spark run crashed also 3/4 of the way thru

Any word about any type of compensation for a horrible event this was? I bought accessories for the bots, but now they aren’t showing up!

Made it all the way to Astrotrain in the first run and it must have drawn too much power taking off because the game crashed before it got wheels up. I didn’t get a replay for that board.

I did the updates on both my Samsung tablet and S7 phone… now neither of them will run the game.

@ramonpontes I am going to take a guess and say Rovio has probably factored in the “overpower” capabilities into the Spark runs, but no one seems to be going for that (myself included). They’re trying to do too much with the game instead of making it run more stable. Unfortunately, it’s taking away the fun factor and causing people to look at other options for games.

4 of 5 spark runs have crashed on me regardless of the level being played or the Android devices I’m using. Either it’s piss poor programming on Rovio’s part or they have intentionally added the crashing into the spark runs to impede player’s ability to level up on spark without buying it. Same concept used with the gems. Limit the supply in hopes of creating a demand.

@CD… the crashes I experienced today both times were on Sparkrun level 15 also! Maybe that is the problem with that level. I’ve unlocked to level 23 so far, so I’ll try either level 14 or 16 next time. My theory is the amount of spark we earn is based on a predetermined formula they came up with at Rovio that regardless of the level, you will need to have the right combination of bots, promotions and spark to get the max spark for that level. I played level 16 yesterday with level 15 bots and a 240% bonus and only got 200 spark out of it. When I play anywhere in the level 20s sparkruns the most I would get was about 170 spark at the end of a successful run. So I’ve stopped trying to unlock more levels until I increase my spark bonuses

I have played on two devices: Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1 and a Galaxy S7 phone. For the last month or more my tablet was useless and wouldn’t run the game after the last hard update, so I was forced to play from my phone only. I installed the hard update yesterday on my tablet and it started working again. A bit sluggish in some play, but still managed to play about 5 or more levels on it before going to sleep. Woke up today and attempted the spark run and it crashed no more than 30 seconds into it. I then opened the game on my S7 and attempted the spark run on there and it crashed too after the first underground. Prior to this, the S7 rarely ever crashed and would have an occasional hangup in play, but would resume. Anytime I see a pause in the game on my tablet, I know it will not recover and that level is over and everything paid to play it.

After playing several levels post soft update I have noticed the following:
-There are a lot more WMTs which means you are either going to be in auto mode more often or getting hit with fireballs more often (your choice)
-Levels are harder and more challenging. Previously I’d finish a level with full heart health with plenty to spare… now I’m finishing the levels with 3-4 hearts
-With all the extra firepower coming at you, a lot of items are being left behind so I’ve been getting lower scores on most boards although some tend to play easier, I find that most are definitely more challenging even with a Lvl 15 bot
-I have not had a crash after playing two full 4 run sets… I did have one instance of the screen calibration being off that required a reboot to restore normal operation
-I’ve got everything being offered so I’ve stopped playing to let others that need the upgrades take advantage of the points… hope this info helps

For whatever it is worth, I played lvl 16 today and was in the 4th phase of it after 3 underground runs with EGL still at 3 hearts and doing very good… then all of a sudden the game paused and shutdown on me… :( So what would have surely been a max spark run ended with nothing! Then I started thinking to myself… we play and pay thousands of spark to upgrade our TFs only to turn right around and earn only a couple hundred spark… isn’t something wrong with that equation?

@DarkNight you make a very good point about the listed TF. I can’t stand playing with them,but they somehow always end up being the ones that show up on my missions. I either play with them or spend a gem to get a different TF.

@DarkNight… DUDE! Those are some very impressive numbers you have there… especially for the spark! I’ve been playing since Nov 2014, but rapidly loosing interest in the game as it has become very frustrating to play with all the crashes, broken updates, nerfing, etc. But nonetheless, here are my stats:

Would someone like to offer an explanation as to how I can go from 2nd place with a crown TF and 20K points into 3rd place when the person in 1st only had 21K points. From the time it took me to play a single board, someone with a non-crown TF somehow leaped into first place with a 8,000+ coin lead! Keep in mind, this person wasn’t even in the top 5 beforehand… I smell trickery!

My transformer got stuck in the ground in the canyon board on yesterdays spark run… had to abort the game which resulted in a total loss… which is the same outcome as a crash!
