Would someone like to offer an explanation as to how I can go from 2nd place with a crown TF and 20K points into 3rd place when the person in 1st only had 21K points. From the time it took me to play a single board, someone with a non-crown TF somehow leaped into first place with a 8,000+ coin lead! Keep in mind, this person wasn’t even in the top 5 beforehand… I smell trickery!

@izberg possible 2nd bot you can’t see maybe bonus squad with a gold crown but does sound a little strange.

@izberg – I think it is definitely possible. If they got a Unicron run, and their main bot died before the end, they would finish with their back-up bot. The leaderboard would show the back-up bot since they finished the board. The person would still get the full bonus. I have done this a few times this event. My backup only has a bronze crown, but I am still getting 210% bonus

@optimuspig got the lightning bolt pig again. Says “fast pig moves and shoot quicker!”. Also got another I haven’t seen a pig with a silver shield “Armour pig ignores small arms fire”. Ricochet has the green aura.

I’m guessing it’s for TFs like Lockdown or Ultra Magnus that use slug-throwers?

Well that sucks was up to the midway point on the spark run and had just lost my first bot when the game froze and shut down. Losing my run and sparks I had acquired.

Got the shield and lightning bolt flying pigs

All 3 characters died because of flying pigs, 2 were killed seconds apart by the same flock of flying pigs. All 3 were level 15 and I’d gone back to level 12 spark run because I thought I’d have a better chance. Didn’t work

Level 16 – It was abaut time to be killed before rich the end. Grimlock was killed almost immediately on the first run before first cave, Ratchet survive two caves and was killed in the third, Nemesis survived one cave and was killed in the forth run. Interesting part here is, that I didn’t reach the end, even didn’t reach the last part, but I collect enough points so after 200% bonus I get full 250 sparks bonus for the day at level 16. Last 3 days I reached the end and didn’t collect enough points to get full sparks for the day, and always get one part less sparks – 48, 46 and 44 less for theese days, and now I didn’t reach the end but get full sparks. All birds were killed from flying pigs without any special over their head, but were send on big quantites. As @sam-spargo mention they are extremely powerful …

@emma-simpson I had a similar experience to you. When I reached the third zone the flying pigs killed grimlock a few seconds after lockdown came in the flying pigs killed him ratchet made it to cobalt valley before he was killed by mortar towers

I just completed Sparkrun L14, but again was unable to earn maximum sparks. I only scored high enough with bonus to get four increments for a total of 46 x 4 = 184 sparks.

Tomorrow I’ll probably just downshift back to L12, which was the last Sparkrun level that I could earn maximum sparks possible. Better to get maximum sparks at a lower level than partial sparks at a higher level.

Plus it’s also marginally easier to avoid dying (first TF died tonight, managed to get to Astrotrain on my second TF at half health).

I still haven’t encountered any special Sparkrun pigs other than the blue one and the purple one.

I’ve tried playing around with different combos of TF as my three, but that doesn’t seem to change the two pig types that display on the info screen.

@optimuspig the combos doesn’t work it seems to be based on the TF with the green aura. The Blue and Purple for me seem to be with Nemisis who for some reason seems to be the primary character with the green aura (don’t know why but he is). When a different TF has the green aura I get different special pigs.

Nemesis is the only green aura TF I’ve ever had on my selection screen.

@optimuspig I see different bird every day on spark run. I see Nemesis one or two times with Green Aura, but I use it till now because I don’t have Dead End. Now when I alrady have him, just wait to get him to level 15 and will use him in the run. Also has one more level for 105% to Ratchet, so Dead End will be my next bird for sparks update.

Neither have I. I was just mentioning it because @phillips believes there’s a correlation between the featured TF that on the left-most of the selection bar and what type of special pigs you’ll encounter. But I can’t test that because it only ever shows Nemesis on it for me.

Yeah, I have no idea why the only featured TF I ever get is Nemesis. But I haven’t upgraded him at all, so I don’t think I’ll ever run him.

My current lineup is EGL, GSG, and GBG.

On the Sparkrun selection screen, below the TFs where it shows the run’s difficulty level, there is a left arrow and a right arrow beside the level indicator.

Just press the left arrow and the difficulty will go down.

Rovio has put up a FAQ saying characters with a green glow change everyday in Sparkrun. However, ever since this thing started, I have seen any glow on anyone. Now I know that Memesis had the glow and I don’t have him, Acidstrom and Sunstorm. Now so either the green glow has been there for Nemesis this whole time or tit is cycling between the three bots I am missing.

@optimuspig i don’t know why they have this green aura around Nemesis but in reality at the Spark Run once that i choose lvl 15 full accessories on him he died? So why to use him i have come so far with 5% promoted bots at Difficulty 15 and my choices are 1st Ultimate Megatron lvl 15 full accessories on him 2nd Dead End lvl 15 full accessories on him as well and 3rd Ratchet also full accessories on him.

I might loose at the 3-4 and i gain the half sparks but that thing hels so damn nicely at the Daily Quests/Missions.

Beware of the yellow spark run pig (fast pig). It is – as the name implies – fast and it shoots repeatedly and probably is deadly. Grey shielded pig is much harder to kill. I had both of these in my spark run today and didn’t make it to the Astrotrain. Luckily I was able to collect maximum spark from the run (220 if I remember correct).

PS. The blue pig regenerates its health. Can’t remember what is the special ability of the purple pig. You can find the properties of these special pigs by touching them in the spark run selection screen.
