@filthycasual Just curious, if you have ABE on two devices, why not link them together on FB? No real reason not to, since ABE isn’t spammy, unless you value Rovio not knowing about your FB.

@marcsloop My event is still ongoing, and I can battle and accumulate points fine. However most of the players on my board seem to be off the event, as the highest place player has been stuck at the same point total for quite some time now.

I’ve ran into level 99 hackers before…but this is a whole new level.

Considering these are the usual stats of hackers, I guess we can conclude the opponents with higher league banners are actually computer generated.

@filthycasual It’s too bad they removed halfway restarting of cave levels. There was a period of time where I was trying to keep my levels low, whilst farming snouts for masteries, and my favorite method was to play 3-4 with Skulkers and Piggy McCool. With some focus I could farm anywhere from 2-4k snouts an hour.

@kerravon This reminds me of something weird. The cave debuff in both 12 and 13 seems to occasionally apply to pigs instead of birds. Is there a pattern to it? I’ll try to determine one later.

@kerravon Had some time lately to test your post out. I could manage 9 total attacks with your method if Sea Dog had already buffed Samurai and had one free turn to act himself. Is it the same for you?

Gang Up added one extra attack to my Speed of Light, and the other 3 came from Samurai + 2x Sea Dog.

Back on topic…I tried to 2-bird 13-5, using Wizard-Bard (Lightning+Nightmare) and Wizard-Spies (Lightning+Beep).

Met a 21k health Frost Hog twice in wave 2 and got wiped due to not being able to make the random stun work in my favor. Didn’t realise it’d be this hard without allies.

Weighing in on the reset issue: I had 5k+ points and got a crash after synchronization. Ended up on the same leaderboard again, but at the bottom.

@richrupp That doesn’t make any sense. Try losing 3 battles in a row to the problems mentioned in your post, and tell me again how to grind out more wins without spending 20 LC.

I see. Regardless of my team composition (for example Red/Chuck/Bomb) as long as I buff Chuck, Gang Up will not trigger during Speed of Light? What would happen if I buffed Red instead?

E: Did some testing. The entirety of Speed of Light is counted as one attack, so as long as any Ganged Up bird attacks during Speed of Light, Sea Dog will attack once more at the end, but only once.

@killerkea Note that Sea Dog’s Gang Up does not work with Chuck’s Rage. Just tested your combo and Gang Up does not trigger (I buffed Chuck).

@strategia55 This happens to me A LOT. What I usually do is go back to home screen and then into Epic again, this usually reenables the buttons. I know some lower-RAM phones will kill Epic once you background it though, so if your ROM (assuming if Android) supports locking of apps in memory, lock Epic first.

It’s not just the dungeons is it? Practically any location where you have to borrow an ally can no longer be replayed halfway.

Honestly, Rovio needs to actually participate in these forums more. They don’t have their own official forum, and if your game(s) get really popular you have to get involved in the community to gather feedback and bugs.

Especially for RPG-style games like these with high longevity potential, you have to cater to a reasonable amount of community-requested features, or at the very least fix the fscking bugs that are reported.

@tomc If the majority of hacked teams have the exact same bird stats, I wonder if it’s likely that they aren’t actual players, and instead Rovio-generated opponents.

No reason for a hacker to not max out their birds I guess?

My entire friendlist is stuck in loading status, and the weird part is the number of people loading correspond exactly to the number of friends I have. When I try to visit them an error happens saying visiting is not available.

Now I’m wary of rebooting my phone. I still haven’t gotten the PVP update as I wanted to complete more Chronicle Cave levels while the restart option was still available, and I hope I can hold off the forced update for as long as possible.
