Has anyone really seen a difference with the Advanced Golden Pig Machine (1000 stars). I had my first 5X roll with it and it didn’t seem to help me at all, even with the 5x. :(

I don’t know about any of you but I am going for the Golden Cloud to open it up early and get as many gold coins as I can throughout the remainder of this campaign. I only hope this doesn’t backfire on me horribly. :)

I had to change my strategy recently because I was losing and a lot more than usual and couldn’t understand what changed. Then I noticed, my Knight Banner was not working. 100% of the time, I had my birds knocked out for 3 rounds and not once did I receive the bonus. I didn’t realize that they changed the bonus to 65% chance. Not only does this ruin the banner reward but I think they now added a bug where it doesn’t work at all. In fact, since I changed, I kept an eye out for the opponents and their Knight banners. They were also forced to wait the entire 3 rounds 100% of the time. So it appears there is no bonus at all. Has anyone else noticed this?

I probably should have researched it a little more before posted. I apologize if this is a double post.

Update: I found by accessing the caves, the “Egg” icon is available. From there you can go to the arena and back. I forgot about choosing the arena boat. Thank you for that. As for collecting my reward, the prompt eventually showed up and I earned what was rightfully mine. Icons still missing on both Ipad Mini and Android versions.

I have another complaint but it is unrelated to the event and therefore I will post it in the correct discussion. Hope everyone is getting what they earned!

Game crashed for me and I never had the chance to spin the wheel. When I reloaded all the icons are gone and no wheel. Can’t finish arena either?

If that is the case, I want my silver snoutlings back. I would have never paid the ridiculous amount of snoutlings for the tiny upgrade.

450 does nothing for us at this level. If you are right, Rovio will be hearing from me. I was healing at +3510 and invested based on that reality. If it was a bug, than I want my investment back.

My fruit cake heals only 450 but when I purchased it, I would get +3510.

This makes it difficult when I want to build up my weaker birds in the caves and healing doesn’t do hardly anything unless I use 3 of them for multiple rounds. I recently updated today and no improvement.

BTW, my cherry potion is at +900 and I get +900. So that still works for me.

I still had one more objective to complete and I would have earned 1st. My mother who plays after my nephew stopped, didn’t get a chance to play here objectives yet and earned 4th, so she is stuck. We both earned less silver than we would have and not there are objectives that will expire in less than 12 hours. Which means if you don’t play now, you could start this week really behind.

What is the deal? Something like this happens almost each time they start a new season.

I remember one season both my mother and I were in first place by ourselves and never had to play against anyone. A guaranteed 1st place and 1400 coins.

Food for thought, I have had better success receiving gifts if I play my daily arena battle first. Then go back to lvl 9 and go for presents. I am running on average gifts appearing 30% chance. More red than blue. I have more accurate numbers however, I wanted to point out that playing arena first and then replaying lvl 9, I have experienced better results than if I start out playing lvl 9 from the start. Something to consider.

The spitting flowers rock! I like to strategically use my birds with the flowers and maximize damage. For example, I will use Matilda drop an egg on a spitting flowers (SF) below, thus launching her into the structure ahead and the SF, spits the explosive egg at another area. Essentially you get to kill 2 pigs with 1 egg.

@puttekula – Red gifts tend to have feathers for your birds so they can level up. Blue gifts are to send to friends via FB and in those tend to be gems.

@mvnla2 – Playing my daily objectives and although I haven’t found a blue gift yet, I did receive 2 red gifts in 4 attempts on level 9.

Level 9 – 2 for 4 – (2 Red)

@mvnla2 – I just followed your order. I played lvl 65 because that is where I was at. I have received gifts on boss levels. I wouldn’t recommend farming there because I earned them by chance and in my experience, I failed more there being a boss level.

I did play Lvl 66 today and received a blue gift even though I received one on level 65 yesterday. I am sure that was luck considering it was the next day and I didn’t play any other level since the last gift I earned. Funny thing though, after I earned a blue gift on Lvl 66, I wanted to earn myself a red gift, so I tried lvl 9 and sure enough, I received another gift! Although, it wasn’t red, it was a second one in back-to-back levels attempts.

So to add to the above info:

Level 66 – 1 for 1 – Blue gift
Level 9 – 1 for 1 – Blue gift

@partshade – I play the entire level each attempt because I have seen gifts show up on in the middle stages. For example, the gift I earned on level 65 showed up on stage 3 of 5. Just in case you were wondering about anyone else.

I just read your info and decided to play along. After playing 6 times on level 9, I earned 2 red gifts. No blue yet. Thanks for initiating this. I hate not getting all my daily objectives.

Level 13 – 0 for 5 – No gifts at all.
Level 65 – 1 for 1 – Blue gift

@partshade To me the increase in chance to get an epic is equivalent to playing 3 coins 5 times which equals 15 coins. So I have more luck playing 5 times vs 1 times then again that goes against the law of averages but everyone is different.

So far, I have received the same crap I always get now. What is the post of the focus screen if you don’t get the item you focus on?

I thought the expensive roll only gets you increased movement on the rainbow which leads to the guarantee legendary roll sooner. I don’t waste my coins. I only spend 3 when I roll.

I have experienced it multiple times on 1.2.9 and today it happened once on 1.2.10. Which is why I decided to post about it. Sounds to me there are inconsistencies all over the latest updates. Thanks @goldenpig for your reply!

My choices vary between Arena and the level I am playing.

As far as favorites go:

Red – Paladin
Chuck – Rainbird
Matilda – Bard (with stun weapon set; Druid otherwise)
Bomb – Berserker (especially now with my golden chili)
Blues – Skulkers

Is there a certain amount of levels you have to play? It seems random. One day I was able to complete the objective for gems and the next day, I played even more levels and nothing. I would think they would at least make it follow some sort of routine. I have even noticed replaying levels to get 3 easy stars for the 10 star daily objective and occasionally a gift will appear but no guarantees.

Also, you would think it was so difficult to obtain, you could send them to more than one person. Why can you only send a gift to one person?

If you take on the drone, I recommend the following team of four:

Paladin
Capt’N
Rainbird
Skulkers

Start by using the Cap’t’s Whip Up on the Paladin so he can hit really hard. Then Skulker hit the Heavy Drone to lower his defense. Then if you have the golden chili, launch a red bird heavy attack for 7k-8k damage. If you don’t have the Golden Chili, then just attack directly until the the Chili fills up. Rainbird heals everyone when needed. When the Clockwork Drone uses his defense to protect everyone, use the skulker-Capt combo so that you can dispel everyone at once.

I did this last two times and before level 40, I would get at least 2 stars. Now I am getting 3 stars at level 45 every time. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

For Medium Tinkers, Rainbird, Druid, and Skulkers wipes them out quickly. :)

I only received two items during the 5x riot roll after spending about 50 LC and both items were duplicates of what I already owned. Neither of them were ones that I focused on getting which I thought it was the hole idea for choosing the legendary items you want or need.
