I have just gotten Devastator and he has yet to complete a run without crashing. I started upgrading him but what is the point if he cannot complete a run????

WTH, I have been sitting with 59/60 for the last 3 days, it won’t complete. anyone have any ideas, using iPad mini, iOS, has anyone got any ideas. I do not use Facebook so do not know if I am being punished. Also still stuck with the Level all birds to 23, am way beyond that bunt credit?

Update, I just got 3 days added at once so now over 60, but only scored 2000 feathers, had expected more but it is better than nothing

@luis-carlo-arocha this has happened to me consistently since the beginning of the event.
It usually happens on the first run of 4 and then does not happen again until later that day. Frustrating, but at least it only happens about 10 percent of the time.

I had a different glitch. Playing with E Grimlock and the cool down accessory. EG just froze, could not shoot, and this was early in run, then made it to end and had to reboot.
This happened several times, last night and this am. So I turned off the cool down accessory and it has now run fine. Tried also with different bot and ran fine, so it must be the accessory…..good job Rovio

Thanks@ed209, but this is ridiculous as no way in time left that I can do that without spending lots of gems, then do not know what will happen, so I guess I am stuck until new challenge, thanks,This means Rovio is punishing the people who played early on and got good scores…….damn, seem like we deserve bonus tokens for this……

I reopen the app and my last run gone and back to 0 of 70,000 and not added to leaderboard, run one more, get 2000, nothing added to leaderboard. Rovio Help

WTF, I have avoided the latest iOS update with concerns of not being able to play. So I am in 3rd place this am with 55K points. I go back in and my score reset to O with next level 70K, My board still shows my 55K. So how can I possibly continue to get bonus points, can maybe play for position but fear this will self destruct. Any advice, should I risk downloading the IOS update?

Yes, same here, apology but could not collect the gems, a bit annoying. Have tried log out and in, no luck!!!

@aliaspbj I too have had this, I believe it is a function of that ad server, whenever they use these videos, whether the 10 second ones, or the longer ones they used to display, they mostly crash and/or never complete. I have posted this many times in the past, and Rovio had not provided them for a while, thanks for starting this post, hope they do not serve these during the competition as I often recharge my TF’s, and this will kill that

What the heck, did 9 runs and crashed twice entering astrotrain, this happened in last comp also, makes this hard to win if I have to lose 20 percent of my runs, anyone else get this?

@optimuspig I too have the same, high 32, low 6, I play IOS, can the difference be the platform? I have often wondered this when I see these dramatic differences, anyone have clarity on this?

Damit Rovio!! You create a comp that requires us to spend gems to even stand a chance and then you put out a buggy comp that crashes constantly. I spend gems to stand a chance and immediately after I run 3 nodes and crash every time right as I am about to enter the astrotrain, and two of the 3 stole my tokens, one records my score. You owe me 150 plus points and I cannot spend more gems only to have you buggy comp steal my progress, fix this and pay me back!!!

What The Heck Rovio, spent 40 gems in last hour just to be able to get to the 4500 token award, I can’t play after today, and twice in the last half hour did I have very strong runs with a 75% bonus, would have made it, but not one but two crashes right before the astrotrain which robbed me of over 1300 points. One got credited back after reboot without the bonus, the other is lost and I won’t make the level. Fix your darn servers, I have not crashed at any other time but the last hour of play…….in this comp!!

@franciscrawford it will be fixed in the morning according to @gradientturtle7 in another thread, the only thing is we so not know which time zone, I am hopeful as I have had no bonus squad since 10 minutes after the new competition began.

@madalice I have not updated to 1.14.3, however problem with ads subsided when this type ad stopped and just yesterday they returned and rate terrible. They are yet again the “view great content” ads. it has a screen that says “earn points while viewing great content”, then goes to a “browser screen with the Daily dot”. These crash in both ABT and AB2. I have had to stop viewing videos during competition. I will upgrade shortly but since it happens in two games………thanks

@arceemega Crashing on every run in the competition, cannot complete a run. This started about 6 hours ago (I am in US, Hawaii time zone) where I cannot complete a competition run. Sometimes crashes in beginning, sometimes middle. sometimes end. No videos just on the run (using grimlock). Also those 1 minute videos are also crashing regular game play. I have lost countless time, tokens I had almost earned. Help please this is just killing the game.

@acwb16 I am on an iPad mini, IOS 8.4 I believe. Today’s contest has not crashed in 4 runs but I will not have that much time to play today, and certainly will not spend gems until this is more stable, thanks

What the heck Rovio, I have run 8 missions on the challenge today and crashed on 5 of them costing time and many lost tokens. Can’t play, can’t compete. Anyone else having this?

@madalice I just got a new ad, in the same “style”, that is even worse as it crashes everything before it fully loads, so have not been able to get you a screenshot. This one begins with a movie style slate “stay tuned whir your video is loading”, then a 0:30 sec timer up top, the words Reuters appeared as if it was going to load a landing page, then crashes everything. This came up even when there was no doubling, no upgrading, simply when I was trying to do a contest run. Please help this is killing the game for me, it is not the same as my companions @millforce2k @franciscrawford described

Thanks @madalice, appreciate your reporting it, and actually have not encountered them in last two days and thought your team pulled them, but have limited my play time. I will attempt to screenshot should they return. The format is obvious as we get a screen with a counter up top, “thank you for enjoying great content” comes at the end (if you get that far). Realize ads are often served by third parties, so will try to capture next instance. Thanks
