ABTF Challenge Events – Bugs & Issues

The game seemed to right itself of its own accord within an hour of my problem, may have been something wrong with my device or an app/update running in background. I will advise if there is any recurrence.

AB Movie Challenge bug: I’ve completed 6 runs with no bonuses offered (there’s no bonus icon indicating the squad and the % bonus above the “Current Challenge” box on the event screen). I’m currently in 11th place when usually, I’m in the top three if not number one at this point. That’s six runs with only 10 tokens to show for it! Fortunately, I already have E.O. and his accessories because there’s no point in playing against players who are able to use bonuses. Please advise…

I have a hybrid version of the problem in the previous post. On my third run, I didn’t include a bonus baby TF. (The only possibility was Shockwave, and he was being upgraded.) On every subsequent run, I wasn’t offered a bonus option.

@pampeans @franciscrawford You may not have had any TFs that belong to that squad. I just made a thread with the squads and their membership.

That’s very unlikely. I’ve had the problem for 11 consecutive hours now, and the only TFs I don’t have are the cash ones.

I feel sorry for those trying to get Epic Optimus. I’m starting to see very few, if any, tickets in most nodes.

AB Movie Challenge bug: Just finished a Slingshot Forest node with hundreds of movie tickets, however not one of them were counted in the score. I only got credit for Energon Cubes. The competition score should have been well over 1,000. You can see by the pig/coin count for the node (before the doubler) there was plenty to shoot at, yet I only scored 195 competition points!

I’m on an IPad Air2 iOS 9.3.2

@pampeans Today is the stick figure signs. I’ve noticed a lot more tickets as well. Signs count for 25 points.

I got 7th place in the first 24 hour competition but only received 20 tokens instead of 200. I too am experiencing tickets that aren’t crediting and no bonus squad.

I hoped my bug would clear on the new competition day, but I still have — no bonus squad offer at all.

This is the first competition where I’ve personally been smashed by bugs. It’s pretty demotivating.

@franciscrawford it will be fixed in the morning according to @gradientturtle7 in another thread, the only thing is we so not know which time zone, I am hopeful as I have had no bonus squad since 10 minutes after the new competition began.

I was fighting to maintain my 1st place standing and unfortunately completed an event run after the day closed out. So after recharging for 10+20+40 gems I get 20th place and 100 tokens reward when I should have a minimum of 500 and finally had enough for Epic Optimus? Come on guys… fix this stupid thing!

Since I updated, when I go to close down the game, I get the angry bird cartoon pop-up, and it won’t let me close down the game.

Can someone please tell me who to contact about an issue I’m having since I updated? No one has gotten back to me when I posted here a few days ago, and not being able to close out the program has become a major issue.

Heatwave chooses not to leave. He doesn’t fire and although the pigs are shooting at him, OP looses the hearts…

Then Heatwave decides to leave by walking off to the right.

Having a contest named for him seems a bit too much for him and has gone to Heatwave’s head…

@pampeans The same happened to me in a similar node. As soon as Heatwave was able to be picked again, I selected him and everything was back to normal.

@droversdog this happened at the end of the node. If you notice in the second picture he leaves right when it’s time to call him in again. Next time, I’ll try and recall him as you suggest.
