A very small but very welcome fix I noticed is that they finally fixed Blaster’s voice.

He actually uses Bubbles’ clips now instead of Chef Pig’s.

Kind of wish that Matilda will get her own voice and Zeta and Eagle get better voice swaps but I guess that’s still a dream for now.

I feel like it’s possible for the Prime Pass characters to be added into the normal pool, but I don’t think it will be for a good long while. If anything I can see G. Optimus and L. Megatron being added to the pool next April, Ultra Magnus and Shockwave in June, etc. (Basically after they’ve been out for a year, and even then if they get added into the normal pool I’d expect them to have the hefty 10,000 token tag as well.) But as Pinokio said we’ll just have to see.

Just came across an issue where it’s not counting my Sparks and Squad Bonus points for Nemesis Prime. (It’s not adding the multiplier)

Wouldn’t mind saving up gems to buy a second upgrade slot.  The character roster is at a whopping 96 and counting so having more upgrade slots would be pretty darn helpful.

Their popped pigs would go toward the Deceptihogs total.

Kinda wish they’d offer a TF for joining one side or the other since that would at least make things a bit less one sided. (Ex. Join Autobirds and you can unlock Ratchet at level whatever, Starscream is locked. Join Deceptihogs and you can unlock Starscream at level whatever, Ratchet is locked)

It was Sunstorm, Starscream, and Acid Storm with Starscream in the Seekers squad and the other two in the Cybertronians squad. All of which were also Minion Pigs.

I guess also a fun fact, Ramjet was the only Transformers character that cameoed in the Angry Birds Transformers comic that didn’t have a Bird/Pig or game counterpart in general until now. Everyone else was either in base game, added not too long after, or was an accessory (Laserbeak).

Ugggh that stinks.

Tested it out for myself with the “try them out” thing during the event and sure enough Cyclonus has that dumb glitch where the screen continues to shake even though they’re not in vehicle mode.

That makes two now. Alpha Trion and now Cyclonus. Glad I decided to save my gems this time around.

Yeah, the Aerialbots and Destructicons appear to be doomed in that regard. I could see Wild Rider escaping this fate though, since he’s the last Stunticon.

I feel like Twincast is an inevitability. The “Instruments of Destruction” squad is the only squad that hasn’t been completed that was from the OG release.

Galvatron screaming aside, Cyclonus’s weapon seems…interesting.

It looks to be a giant laser that can clear a very large radius (looking similar to Warpath) except with a loooot of cooldown.

(Not sure if it’s the same radius as Warpath, I’d assume it’s bigger by the cooldown. Haven’t had a chance to compare.)

I wanted Ice Bird as Cosmos (RIP), Tony as Hot Spot, and Gale as Flamewar. I remember even making mock-ups for them, too.

Part of me also wanted that really obscure Female Red Bird as Flare Up but that’s probably the least likely out of the already unlikely wishes.

Basically simple head swaps that would incorporate more characters from across the Angry Birds franchise.

Another “dark” character like Nemesis Prime and Nemesis Hot Rod would be pretty cool, too.

Decided to take a break from the game for a while, I don’t hate everything about the update, I do like how pigs are actually given some sort of value, the upgrading system’s kind of meh, and I wish that the War Rewards were a bit better balanced, but the sudden lack of gems was a real bummer since I was saving up to unlock the Jungle Area and was pretty close to getting there.

I’m gonna revisit the game for a while longer before deciding if I’m gonna hold on any longer.

Was trying to save up for the jungle area because I got sick of staring at the giant locked cloud and was a good way there. Kinda throws a wrench in that.

@papakarlo The 6k tokens was a placeholder, however if you look at the relationship between gems and tokens (2 tokens = 1 gem) the price is actually MORE than the 2500 price tag on the Jungle area. Boosting it up to the normal character price makes the gap even wider, with it then being worth 3750 gems, 1250 gems more. Only difference being is that the tokens are a lot more manageable to get than gems.

Speaking of which, the gem income in one week is 144 gems, this is including completing the Daily Quests every day, and collecting the Daily Rewards with the ad bonus. Roughly 21 gems per day on average. 144 gems per week, this would take the player nearly 4 months to unlock the Challenge Run, without spending ANYTHING. No characters, no crates, no Spire continues, no Mission Portal spending. Even with a 15 gem curve thrown in, it would still take around 2 months and 2 weeks without spending a thing, missing 2-4 new characters unless one can manage to scrape together 10,000 tokens during a live event. Even if you get a lot of gems as a reward in Challenge Run, the grind in order to get there in the first place is ludicrous.

It’s also near/next to impossible to get 6k tokens in 2 days. That would require getting 1st place and maxing out the rewards (200,000 points I believe is the cap) both days. 1000 tokens a day, or 1250 at the standard character price, is still a feasible daily goal that still requires players to be on their feet, especially with a new mode and a “new” area as the reward. And if more players unlock the Challenge Run, increasing competition as a result? Well, it’s called a “Challenge Run” for a reason. I don’t see why extra competition would be a bad thing overall.

Not sure if this thread is “dead”, but how about a “Jungle Pass” for the Token Exchange?

A pass that players can grind up tokens for in order to unlock the Jungle Area/Challenge Run. This way it’s more accessible to players in general, and newer players can gain more experience with online tournaments before unlocking the Challenge Run.

I’ve heard of that. I’ve thought about it, and the thing is, really they could somewhat fix this issue with adding only one new soundpack: Matilda’s.

The current voices are:
Matilda using Silver’s

Mighty using Hal’s

Zeta using Stella’s

It seems as though the same voice clips aren’t used more than twice. With Matilda’s getting added, then we could have:

Matilda with Matilda’s

Mighty with Bomb’s

Zeta using Silver’s

So Matilda has her own voice, which is hard to replicate using someone else’s voice, while Mighty and Zeta have voices much closer to how they actually are.

Taking into account of possible future birds and pigs, Tony would use Terence (obviously), Leonard could use either Moustache Pig or King Pig (though imo Moustache Pig sounds closer to Leonard),  Ice Bird could possibly use Red’s (close enough to his noises), and Gale using Stella’s (obviously not 1-f0r-1, however I’d say her voice is closer to Stella’s than Zeta’s is)
