  • I couldn’t get a very good shot, but I assume this one is a shotgun pig? It’s got the heavy red armor and I started losing lots of health when he showed up.

I despise these guys so I was just asking to confirm so I know who to destroy if multiple types are onscreen.

I’m level 33 and alone on my leaderboard. And my enemies matched my level.

I had a friend who was android and wouldn’t let me visit their camp and I did roll it after I finally got the update, but I also haven’t had a new one in a long time.

I would like it is there was another set of normal levels (that arent restricted to friends for the 3rd bird) in the future, but unless they have something planned, 2 new caves every once in a while will likely be what we get from now on.

I’d choose Bard. If you plan on using her with the Sweet! set and the Paladin, she’s at her best. Nightmare set works too, but I prefer the Sweet personally since it boost her healing and has a chance of a critical strike. Of course, her healing aura can be debuffed by pigs who dispell helpful effects.

The others, I’d say, just get depending on how you play, which birds you like to use, etc.

My game is crashing over and over since the update on iOS. I keep trying to do 10 wave battles for some experience in the caves and the game just wont stop crashing. I got the to 9th wave just now then it crashed as soon as i gave Chuck the rage chili. Last night it crashed before I could even get halfway through the 10 waves 3 times.

I already restarted my iPad twice in hopes it was just a memory issue or something, but that didn’t fix it. I tried rolling back the update, but I had to re-update since my profile is stuck to the latest version which is disheartening since, the way things have been going, iOS will not get a fix for a while. :(

I’m aware android often get updates last, but it’s not about being first, just having the same things. The only reason I’d even have a problem with late updates for this game is losing the ability to use the golden pigs on friends if they’re Andriod. Even then, I just want the same things or maybe we get exclusive things too. No need to be that way. :/

So if you are in the “wrong” part of the world and/or on iOS (even if you’re in the “right” part of the world), you can’t/won’t get it?

The response says it “was” available so I assume you can no longer get it at all. :(

I got 3 as well from using a friend’s with that set a few times at max level.
The set isnt worth it to me, The Scissors one is his best set.

I agree! I don’t get why we’re being left out. I still kind of assume iOS users outweigh Android? Maybe not, but ABE is the game I play the most on my iPad, so much so that I wish I had the money to get an Android device so I can get the updates we’re not getting (though the current one for 1.0.14 I dont really mind only because they killed King Pig’s castle). I will be getting an Android device in the future but it’ll cost me a LOT so that’s out of the picture for now. :P

And I also hate that we get the updates so far behind because it stops me from using free golden pig rolls on the Android user’s camps.

I assume iOS wont get the new hat update for Matilda just like we never got the one for Chuck? First time I’m annoyed to not be on Andriod. You guys are getting updates first and while the gear may just look different, its still kinda disappointing. :(

But King Pig’s castle, wow Rovio, thats low. Only 4 coins? Guess its time to play the heck out of that level before the iOS update or just not update until I’ve got a good stockpile.

I would agree on getting the priest, she’s very useful with rain bird or paladin.
Personally, I quite like the marksmen is certain situations such as with ninjas and I’d buy it.
I personally have no problem with the pig cherry juice at rank 1 for now, so I’d go for the cake then the pig juice after.
If you use the rage chili often, I would get the burning veggie cake before the pig cherry juice rank 2. I think the hot veggie cake works fine for me personally as I never really needed to use more than one in a tight situation since i usually filled the chili about halfway most if the time.
If your most used classes are already elite, I’d get everything else first then work on the other classes last. That was pretty much how I did everything, but I think it depends on your play style, so in short:

    1. Priest
    2. Marksmen or Fruit Cake rank 2
    3. Pig cherry juice rank 2
    4. Burning veggie cake
    5. Elite all other classes.

As for buying potions and items for crafts, I personally never do, so I can’t say how worth it that is.

And Sorry to hear you lost the 1000 snoutlings on the Avenger, it really is probably the worst class in the game. If you don’t already know or haven’t gotten there yet I would highly suggest grinding King Pigs castle. You’ll get 300 coins at the end and it isn’t that hard to beat at all if you’ve got elite classes. I finished it without set items or masters many times in maybe 5-8 minutes and I think the turnout is quicker than WCP.

Can’t answer the first question but I have quite a few pigs I despise. XD

I hate snow pigs since they dispell everything.
I hate the snow pigmies that also dispell your helpful effects.
I hate that one shaman who is a tribal one. I don’t know his exact name but he’s got an ornate staff and headgear. He’s the one who does a lot of damage to one bird and completely blocks their ability to heal.
I hated the banshee (the ghost with the blue wig) when I was lower leveled since he always called more ghosts.
I hate all ghosts in general since they revive too fast and it can be endless if you didn’t play it right.
I hate those ghosts that have that smoke shield that has a 50% chance of yours birds attacks missing. I always miss with that.
The pig I hate the most us the Master Ninja. He is the WORST. He has a large chance of dispelling your helpful effects and does a LOT of damgage. And of course there’s that awful dodge ability he has. I don’t have issues with him anymore since I’m maxed but in my lower leveled days, he could take out my birds easily especially when paired with the shogun in the same round. He makes rage. Haaaaaate.

I’m at level 29. I have all classes including the lucky coin ones. I’m working on mAstering everyone. Any class not mastered is elite. Currently have master paladin and thunderbird. I have all sets for Matilda, two sets for everyone else and just the robot set for the blues.

    Facebook link is on profile.

Edit sept. 17: I have more than enough friends. No longer have the link of my profile.

I also do King Pigs Castle and can finish it in less than 5 minutes at times, no potions or rage chili refills. I only use the chili in the beginning (ive got the golden chili) and on the final round. It takes me 3-5 turns to kill off the King, Wizard and Porky depending on if my sets abilities are used or not. My go to team is Master Thunderbird (twin lightning set), Elite Druid (the honey set) and Rogues (robot set). I play it on my own and finish it quickly especially after getting the set items.

I think HeavenKid meant adding 30% extra damage to enemies, not 35%. Their normal attack makes the target pig take an additional 30% damage, not 35%.

Yes, the Lightnig Bird makes a bird attack someone like the Skulkers and it’s at 100% damage. Taking the Skulkers themselves as an example, if you made them attack with the Lightning bird, they will hit a random pig at 100% damage and cause that pig to take 30% more damage for the next 3 turns. If you make them attack with the tricksy trick on themselves, they will attack a random pig for 35% damage, but ALL the pigs will now take 30% more damage for the next three turns. They can make all pigs get poisoned with Matilda’s Druid, lower all pigs attack power with cannoneer, etc. I LOVE the Skulkers and they are quite useful.

Ah, okay. Well, then the sad part of that is if you stopped using it upon getting all the master classes and all the lucky coin classes, that it would take that many weeks to get it all without spending money. It shouldnt take years to get them without paying money. Oh well.

I believe the free rolls are the equivalent of a 3 coin roll so the chance of getting set items from them is as low as the 3 coin roll, which is rare.

My normal golden pig items were mostly offhand items. When it comes to the set items, mine is actually more weapons than offhand items. It took forever to get a few complete sets since I’d get more weapons and not many offhand items.

And the golden pig has always loved giving me items for Chuck over any other bird and rarely gives me things for the Blues.

509 of those Golden Pig tickets? How is that even possible? .-.
There isn’t 509 weeks between March 17th and now, that’s 9.7 years. XD

Little mistake on the Sea Dog, you said he gets stronger when his health lowers, but he actually gets weaker so that would be a con since you have to keep his health up to maintain that power.

Sea Dog: Deals x damage. The damage is decreased 1% per 1% health lost.

I agree that she is overall more useful for one enemy instead of multiple. The priest is my least favorite class for her personally, but the priest is actually quite nice with the Paladin since they’ll all share the healing he gives along with the healing received from hitting the enemy she hit.

The attack power sweet spot for the ninjas is between 159 (Shoguns ignore anything less than that) and 189 (ninjas dodge more than that). You’ll ideally want your birds attacking with damage somewhere inbetween there even if you have to give them a weaker weapon.

I used the Druid, Samurai, and Skulkers personally. Skulkers would make Matilda poison everyone. Samurai attacks and shields when needed. I used a stun weapon on him since he hits 3 separate times which gives him 3 chances to stun. Druid heals and attacks when she isnt healing. Skulkers go after the Shoguns.

Since you dont have any high leveled friends, I was suggested to use Red as Samurai, Matilda as Princess, and Pigiana as a good combo to for this cave. Prince Porky works as well, but he doesnt have much health in comparison. Piggy McCool works too, but Pigiana has that dispel ability which makes him the most useful.

With Matilda as Princess, Red can protect when needed and use his rage chili on Shoguns and other pigs that do not have the dodge. Matilda directs all pigs onto Red, healing him as needed and Pigiana uses the counter attack on Red as well as dispels those annoying smoke shields. Go for Shoguns first was my strategy when they were there then take out those awful Master Ninjas. Take them out one at a time and you should have no problem with this cave.

Other classes you can mix and match would be Lighting Bird and Rainbird for Chuck.
Rogues and Marksmen if you want to use the Blues.
Paladin could work if your other two birds were able to hit the ninjas or you gave him a weaker weapon.

A weapon that stuns is a good idea for Red to have as Samurari. Avoid critical damage weapons as they can miss ninjas. You’re going to want to have your classes upgraded if possible to at least veteran (elite is ideal) and/or make sure your level matches, is very close to, or exceeds the pigs in the cave (they’re level 25). Keep your health up and dont be afraid to use potions if needed. That breath of fire may only take 55 from the birds, but its nearly killed my birds before when they’ve ganged up on one of them. Matilda may not always be able to heal them well so having some potions is important.

Paladin hands down is the best class. He does quite a bit of damage and his healing ability is invaluable. He can protect a bird you may not be able to heal completely and I can’t tell you how many times that has saved a bird for me. With his naturally high health compared to the others, and attack and healing abilities, he can be practically unkillable. Best of all, it’s the cheapest one! What’s not to love?

I would say I personally like the bard and Skulkers as close seconds. I have these three lucky coin classes so far.

The bards healing is constant and consistent on all the birds which is nice, but not useful against enemies that dispell (looking at you, Tiny Snowpigs) as they’ll remove her healing aura. Becuas she heals overtime, you can generally let her keep hitting instead of constantly healing. When facing pigs at my level or higher, though, I would use Druid instead since Druid heals more all at once. I do really like the added bonus of the 15% stun chance. With a stunning weapon, she puts the piggies to sleep quite often.

With the right birds, Skulkers are awesome. They can make Druid Matilda poison an entire group, use it in themselves to give an entire group 30% bonus damage, lower attack power on everyone with the cannoneer, etc. They do nice damage and with the 30% bonus, they can kick some piggy behinds pretty well.

I’ve gotten to test the thunderbird and he will be my next one I buy personally since I use Chuck the most often between him and Bomb. He is kinda like a souped up Mage, but he does a lot of damage with the extra 25% damage bonus to a target pig and the all bird shock shield. I agree on the use with Skulkers being a deadly duo, I can’t wait to do that myself.

I’ve tested Sea Dog too with friends bird and he does a crazy amount of damage and the gang up ability is awesome, especially on those big bosses since you’re essentially getting a fourth hit on them and it’s very powerful. You do have to keep his health up to maintain that power, but it shouldn’t be a problem in most cases.
