I almost had this same problem. I was still playing though I was in first place. When it ended, it showed I had 0 points in 20th place. I quickly closed the competition and saw that I had a gift waiting. When I opened the gift, I was rewarded with 1000 tokens for first place as I should have received. I was lucky to get the correct amount if you experienced problems. Lately I’m not seeing a positive trend of customer support actually helping, but opefully Rovio will get this sorted out for you.

@sukerman13 yes I informed rovio of this as well as sent them images. They insisted that Admin2001 was a real person, even though I gave them a screenshot of Admin2001 as a buddy when not connected to Facebook. They claimed that perhaps it was a real person using the same screen name as the computer generated name during the competition. And yes that name was in an event during the Epic Optimus Prime event. (I forget the specific name of it). I was met with remarks as such that they couldn’t assist me in the matter.

I’ll give you a guess as to who my favorite Transformer is. I’m still waiting for Rovio to add him to the Blues Brothers. As far as who I like so far, it depends on what I’m playing. For a while I liked Nemesis Prime with his powerful shots, but then Rovio nerfed his abilities. I like Epic Optimus Prime and for the most rececent “Enter the Silverbird” challenge, I liked using Energon Grimlock. When I’m playing Jenga mode I usually go with Jazz for his driving abilities, and Starscream with explosive rounds to shoot all the blocks away.

Thanks for setting this up. I’ll have to disagree on one of the FAQ items though. In regards to persons on the leaderboard being real, I have found this not to be true. At the beginning of each event, the majority of “other” names are computer generated. One such time, I ran across the name Admin2001. I’m sure many people have seen this name listed as a buddy when you play a node, and are not connected to Facebook. Admin2001 is a computer generated name which I’ve seen at least once on a daily challenge in the leaderboard. Whether this be a bug, or a glitch, or unintentional, is unknown.

Thanks for getting back with me.

1) To be honest I don’t know where the screenshot came from stating I received a 2nd place prize. The screenshots are all saved on my device and I don’t have that photo. I have the one showing I received 1st place but not the 2nd. I do recall several times, not just the one from that particular day that shows the 213, but other days as well where it said I had 1st place with 5 seconds to go and I was numerous points ahead of 2nd place and yet I still ended up receiving only the 2nd place prize. The entire competition didn’t seem to be a fair game since we only had the availability to win or receive a maximum of around 12,000 tokens, yet all of the prizes available were 15,000 tokens (estimated figures)

2) In regards to the medallion situation, I had just enough tokens left over to purchase the medallion. I had screenshots to show that I had purchased the medallion, but then after the competition was over, I looked in my inventory, and the medallion was nowhere to be found for Epic Optimus Prime. If you wish me to share them with you again, I will.
*update* I looked at my rovio account and found the support ticket for this specific situation is no longer there… *scratches head*

3) So are you saying we should leave this unchecked unless arceemega directs us to check them for whatever reason? Or should they all be checked? Or.. I’ll let you get back about that.

4) Yes I verified that only 33 facebook friends show up for the leaderboard and as playable characters, yet I have well over 80 (if not more like 100) friends who I’m friended with on facebook and whom also play the game.

6) I always provide screenshots of these situations and am always met with the response, “We apologize that this happened to you. Unfortunately we can not give out any (coins/gems). We hope that you will continue to enjoy playing Angry Birds Transformers”. I’ve come across this sort of situation many times where a glitch or bug or update your progress bug or whatever the case happens.. and I always think.. customer support will help me fix this.. and then I’m disheartened with this sort of news and the feeling of anguish as if there really isn’t any assistance in the matter.

*7) Also on top of all the afore mentioned items, we’ve been noticing some of the quests for android aren’t appearing properly in the game center. For example the most current one “Visit the desert 15 times” does not give an accurate reading. Myself personally, I’ve visited the desert at least 8 times and it still says 0/15. Visiting any certain area of the map is always difficult as it seems the game never really goes where we want it to go. Hopefully the counter can be fixed.

*8) The new competition with Wingblade seems to be a little off. There are people who are in 1st place with over 5000 points already. Yet after my 4 tries during the 1st hour, I could only get about 250 kills.

*9) Hasbro had posted pictures of 4 transforming telepods that should be coming out but so far I haven’t seen anything or heard anything from hasbro as to when or if they will actually come out for Shockwave, Epic Optimus Prime, Acid Storm, and Ratchet. Have you heard anything about them?

I wanted to answer your questions too:

How did you find this competition compared to the previous ones?
I found it too be very frustrating as servers didn’t update properly, awards weren’t given properly, and not all of the items were achievable in such a short period.

Too easy/easy/hard/obscenely hard?
I think it was obscenely hard due to the daily goals not coming across the game screen enough

Fun/boring?
Its the same map over and over so it gets kind of boring. Perhaps new scenery would spruce things up.

Worth it for a character?
Too much effort went into trying to obtain the new character

How much time do you spend in game during competitions compared to outside competitions?
I spend WAY too much time during competitions versus normal gameplay.

How much time would you prefer to spend during a competiton (less/more)?
I would prefer there be enough time to obtain all achievable competition items.

What’s you ideal length of competiton X events spread over Y days?
Same as the previous question. I would prefer it to be long enough for a person to obtain every item available.

Would you like to see bigger leaderboards to compete against more people, or is 20 enough/too many?
I don’t think bigger leaderboards is wanted. Probably the same amount if not less.

Yes I’ve submitted this to Rovio Support. I’ve got 3 requests from over the past 3 months and haven’t had a single reply from them. My oldest request is 3 months old, I have one from a month ago, and I just put in one a few days ago about this competition, and recently added to that last request. I was hoping @arceemega or @gradientturtle7 would be able to help me with the recovery of these tokens. But so far I haven’t had a good answer.

I started competing at approximately 8 pm Central Standard time. Which is 2 hours after the competition started. I had to wait for my meter to fill up with more bars before I could start playing again. That is for this most recent daily competition.

I’m still having problems with not receiving the proper amount of tokens throughout this entire Chinese competition. The first day I only received 100 tokens even though I was in 1st place. Today the same thing happened. It said I got first place, but yet I only got 200 tokens. Whats going on here? I’ve tried to contact the support staff at Rovio using their website, but I never receive any replies. How do I get my tokens like I should have gotten? The first day was bad enough with that “please wait 42,790 days” glitch. I’m counting around 2000 tokens or more that I did not receive even though I won the daily competitions. Can I get those back? Hi, I’m still encountering problems with lost tokens. On the first day of the Chinese competition we had problems with a day counter not being reset properly. My screen showed 47,000 day wait. It wasn’t until an hour before the daily competition was over, that I got the message to use 10 gems and it would all reset itself. Therefore I missed out on all of the tokens I could have possibly gotten, plus the daily winner reward that I usually get. This would be 10 + 20 + 30 + 40 + 50 + 60 + 70 + 80 + 90 + 100 + 1000 = 1550 tokens. On top of this problem. There have been several times ( on day 2 and 3) where I reloaded my battery meter with gems to continue playing. Yet the game froze on the autobot symbol as it was loading the game, and then it crashed. When I returned, my gems that I had used to reload the meter were gone, and the meter itself was empty. On day 2, I lost 40 gems. On day 3, I lost 80 gems. Last night / This mornings competition, I made it all the way up to 424 paper lantern posts shot down. Yet when I got my first place reward, it only showed 400 paper lantern posts shot down. Subsequently I lost the 100 tokens from achieving the 10th daily prize level. Thus far, I’ve lost 1,650 tokens, and 120 gems. Is there a way to get these back? Thank you for your help in the matter.

Yup… I have Shockwave, and all of his accessories, as well as the accessory for Prime, Bee, and Soundwave, and just collected 100 gems with tokens. Here I figured we would be able to continuously collect gems but I guess we can only collect each thing once.

I’ve managed somehow to win every competition so far. I’ve been able to unlock Shockwave as well as all 3 of his accessories. I’m going to be working on the other 3 accessories for Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Soundwave. As long as there aren’t any more accessories that show up, I’ll just go for gems from then on.

You say you guys are getting 19 or 20? I haven’t seen that many Snowmen in one node yet. My lowest has been 4, and my highest has been 18. This competition has been very tough since I took first the first two days. I’m currently in first now but 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th place is nipping on my heels. Its a very close race! I have a feeling that the more you win, the more you are put in brackets of other people who had won the day before.

Personally, I don’t care for the way this event is unfolding. I preferred the way it was set up for Halloween and Thanksgiving. Granted, this way we can get Shockwave without paying actual money for him. It still isn’t the way I thought it would be set up.

@tiderfish oh ok. I understand what you are saying. That is odd. I know there are other things I’ve tried to download on my phone which for some reason it says it isn’t compatible with my phone either (i.e. Assassin’s Creed App). I guess if you know how to do this APK file transfer work around, just keep doing that until the folks at Rovio can get it resolved.

I think he was asking what version of the game do you have? The latest Angry Birds Transformers Version is 1.9.26.3. Your phone version is something different. 4.1.2 Jelly Bean is your phone version, not the Angry Birds Transformers Version. I had 4.4.4 Kit Kat for the longest time and just recently got upgraded to 5.1 Lollipop. You may wish to check your phone to see if there are any updates for your phone. Also go to the Play Store, type in Angry Birds Transformers, and see if it says Update. If it does, feel free to update the game whenever you like.

Also the minimum requirements for an Android phone user is Version 4.0 and up per the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rovio.angrybirdstransformers
So your version should work with the game. If you haven’t done so already, go to the play store, and type in the name of the game, and see if it says update. If it does, then update the game.

@gradientturtle7 On Android phones we also have a “Play Games” app which shows our Achievements. I have most of the Achievements within the game fulfilled (minus a few that take quite a few time), but out of those achievements, not all of them have registered on the “Play Games” app such as craft so many energonicons, complete a squad, etc.. Has there been a fix to remedy this to show the Achievements being fulfilled in our “Play Games” app as well?
