@foulmouthedleo, Generally I wait to buy feathers til the last day or so in the event of a feather frenzy. Don’t know if one will occur this time around, but it can’t hurt to wait in the event that Rovio does indeed hold a frenzy.  I guess they like to keep us guessing!

Yes, I had an easy run in today’s 4-4-6 DC with no extra birds. The KPP, not so much. Took Bubbles in and KPP rm. 1 was pretty smooth sailing (and only 3 levels) The second rm however, has not gone well.  Doubt I’ll be finishing that, probable gem suckage : )

Yes, I tried twice myself. Then I left it alone. When you see there’s no exit and no amount of pounding will kill the King, it’s time to walk away unless you have a never ending supply of gems that you don’t mind parting with : ) Is it me or does this seem to happen more when those rainbow feathers are part of the rewards?

@jaspertm-l Wow! Yes I see that it did get a bit messy for you and your clan. That does stinks, sorry to hear that! One thing is certain, fairness does not always seem to be at the forefront of Rovio’s  modus operandi unfortunately for us! I hope the battle rewards predicament is an isolated situation for you and your clan in the future! Or any fair playing clan for that matter. I wonder if Rovio ever pairs the super cheat clans against one another? It would be fun to have a birds eye view of that, wouldn’t it? Wouldn’t it be hilarious (and unlikely, of course but allow my daydream, lol!) if there were a whole league/division created that only allowed cheaters to play against cheaters?

@jaspertm.l   Sorry to hear about your frustration. I’m  a little unsure what you mean exactly. Did your clan collect on the bp’s post battle? Once anything is collected, I think it is harder to get Rovio to rectify a situation like that, unless I am misunderstanding what your’e talking about exactly.

@doulgas That’s interesting. No one that I know directly has spoken of having received the survey themselves. There were a handful of people who have friends   (outside of my clan) who did receive it. I did not hear whether or not they had success in the TOF as you did. I personally have never gotten the egg and have only played to higher floor levels a couple of times.  Good to hear you got some goodies, though! I think I read previously that you don’t spend real money in the game, so maybe they are trying to analyze non spenders in order to draw them in to the “gamble” as it were.

@douglas Hey Buster! Thanks for clarifying. I didn’t understand that you were talking about the good old days! I had a 4-4-5 today myself. The first two levels were quite easy but the third level was a bonifide pain. After multiple tries and survivor scuba piggies in really tough locations, I stopped trying. The rewards aren’t that tremendous for the DC, it’s the KPP that is a greater reward. Oh well, I have played long enough to know that there will be days like this. Sometimes I am inclined to pay 60 gems for the very last room but lately, I have just walked away. Have fun flinging!

@douglas so far Ive tried more than three times and there ain’t no pity or golden pigs for me, lol! That is not to say that you are wrong necessarily though. That does happen for me in the maps area but after way more than three attempts. I know that players will often get different DC and KPP challenges with different amounts of rooms in the sequence for the day. Rovio will also track what you will tolerate and what your willing to spend on the challenges in order to finish. Certain days defintely are easier than others. Some days I breeze through and some of my Clan mates can’t and vice versa.

@apprentice, Good to know, thanks and that’s great on your improvement! I’m pretty sure Rovio doesn’t consider following the videos as cheating. I think they have been around for a while.

@chrispdog, Congrats on your improvement in boot camp! Dan Chan and Angry Z also have great videos. The have pretty high FP so naturally they have the fire power to accomplish shots that may not work for everyone with lower FP. It is helpful to see different approaches. ( There is more than one Dan Chan on YouTube, so include Angry Birds in your search.) The account that Angry Knight uses to post videos has a FP that may be a little more accessible for players still building up their flocks. All of these players have mad skills and sometimes ridiculous “luck” at times with shots, but watching the videos as a general rule have really helped me as well.

@douglas, Yes, I know what you mean. It is sometimes hard to follow play by play especially when you may not have the same bird line up, which can often happen in these events.  But it is good to see how the structures will sometimes fall and get a look at the next “rooms” to see how you want to go about it all. He is very good, but sometimes I am in disbelief at how a lucky bounce, etc. can clear a room. I would imagine he plays several times and then just picks a better run to post… I’m sure his really super run is kept for his Clan’s viewing. Still I appreciate his efforts.

@douglas. Well good luck! I slogged through it late last night. Sometimes I find these Adventures get a little easier towards the end of the event. Not sure if I’m imagining it or not. It’s possible!  Just seems that sometimes the events seem tougher just as they are released… Anyone else notice this?

Yep, have played against that lot. Ton o’ cheats. Sorry man! It does suck and they personally suck for being the dirt bags that they are. Don’t know how they can even enjoy collecting when they know they aren’t winning legitimately. We reported them and many were booted during our battle. It’s a shame tho!

@angrybirdspoop, Congrats on finishing the adventure! It seems that occasionally  Rovio will try and make up for things when disappointments like that happen. Glad it worked out for you! I have noticed Rovio isn’t responding to my few messages lately, either. I have stopped buying the monthly 70 gems pack bc I got really tired of the rewards being held for ransom in the Daily Challenge and KPP. Sometimes those challenges for me are just ridiculous unless your willing to spend a ton for meager rewards… Good luck on this next adventure too!
