I’ve noticed the same thing with the Winged Justice set.  There’s some battles where it doesn’t work at all, but other times it works normally.

It’s probably a bug.  I wouldn’t be surprised.

EDIT: Also, I can’t seem to see how many stars I need to level up.  I see the meter, but I can’t touch and hold on it to see the exact number I need anymore.  Was this feature removed?

What’s a good way to level up quickly? I don’t want to use the ancient artifact item and get new gear until after I hit 80.

Also, the game no longer says how many stars until the next level. It may be a glitch. It wouldn’t surprise me.

The main problem I have with these events is that they completely rely on RNG and/or bribing your way to victory.

To unlock Trypticon, you have to get a whopping 10,000 tokens. Right away, that’s pretty difficult to do, since the event only lasts a week. And heaven forbid you want to get any of the accessories, or any of the instant upgrades…

They did at least make it so you get more tokens based on your ranking, which is nice, but unless you have the most highly-promoted Transformers, you’re not going to come in 1st every time. This is compounded with how high the points needed to get your own individual tokens are.

For reference, my best two TFs are Deadend and Nemesis Prime. Combined, they have a promotion bonus of 200%. But even with that, I still can’t even get to 50,000 points, something that other players appear to do with ease. Maybe they have TFs that give the bonus points, I don’t know.

It also seems like sometimes I can place in the top five of a day’s rankings for an event, and yet other days I can’t even get in the top 10, even if I get around the same number of points. It’s completely random who your opponents are in any given event.

By contrast, look at Angry Birds Epic. Yes, you compete with other players in events, but you don’t need to place in the top spot to get new classes or elite upgrades. You get those by fulfilling certain individual requirements during events, such as collecting a certain number of items. But imagine now if, during one of those ABE team vs. team events, you only could get a new class if you placed in the top 3 in an event AND your team won. It would be completely unreasonable.

What I’m saying is, the makers should make it so that collecting the main prize in an event (such as new characters) is reasonably obtainable if you play a certain amount each day. It should not be a requirement that you have to beat all the other players.

And yet they can’t afford to have to have this game fixed of bugs and glitches. What the heck are they spending all of that money on, ice cream?! (Not that I wouldn’t if I had that much money, but still…)

Another update, another period where I can’t even load the game due to crashing.

I already put up with this for almost a MONTH back in March. I don’t want to have to go through that again.

I haven’t been able to load the game for over a week now. Every time I load the game, I hear the music for a few seconds, and then it crashes.

I am not happy at all.

Just a couple glitches I’ve noticed from this patch:

–When you’re on the character select screen for promotion/upgrading, the framerate gets really shaky for some reason. This is the only screen that I’ve seen that does this.
–Even though Windblade is listed as an Autobird, when you get to the Thank Partner screen, the game treats her as a Deceptihog. Very odd.

So it seems the Spark Run resets at midnight UTC, which is the same time when token events reset.

I used Nemesis Prime for this one. The difficulty was certainly higher, and the point requirement went from 20000 to 30000. I was on my last heart by the end.

I still managed to make it through, and my squad bonus easily allowed me to make 30000.

I got new set items. The problem is that I can’t upgrade them, because I don’t have enough snoutlings to pay for it.

Where’s a good place to get snoutlings now, since they nerfed SRC?

FINALLY, I have the chance to unlock Rodimus Prime!

Already have Prowl and Bluestreak, so they’ll probably get some new accessories at least.

I have no clue how you folks were able to get all three TFs. I was barely able to get one!

Managed to place 2nd, and my team managed to just barely come in 1st.

Got 5k Chuck, 5k Red, and 5k All, which I’m very happy for. Even managed to get Paladin and Wizard to M13.

So, I just did some calculations. I’m currently at 4120 tokens. I’ve already gone past the 60 tokens mark, so if I get the 70, 80, 90, and 100 marks, I should have 4460. I’m currently at 2nd place, which would net me 4960. Just 40 short of getting the new character. Oh, and the guy currently in 1st has double the points I have right now, even after spending gems to reset my batteries twice.

I still have no clue why we can’t buy tokens in exchange for coins or gems. It’s seems so stupid to me that I missed out on a character that I will probably never have the chance to get again all because the event doesn’t last one more day, or I can’t make up the different in coins or gems.

I hate these events so much.
