Just double-checked and yes, that has happened to me as well. A kirei masamune came out of the treasure chest, but now that I look in Red’s weapons I see that I have a second Steel Force, too. Nice one, Rovio!

Mastery upgrades at the Dojo have not been changed to reflect the new mastery levels. Example: my Lvl.14 Elite Bard was about 1,500 points away from Lvl.15 prior to the upgrade. Now the Elite Bard is Lvl.59 but is something like 8,000 points away from Lvl.60. However, the upgrades you can buy with snouts have not been recalibrated and are still only worth 500 points.

I managed to come first even though I was a day late starting. My group wasn’t as competitive as has been the case in some of the previous mini-campaigns. Maybe the late start helped.

Anyway, I thought this was one of the best mini-campaigns so far. Well thought out and with some pretty tough opponents along the way. Anyone else agree?

Once I got the Elite Illusionist I started using it in all subsequent battles. I know a few Nesters don’t rate the Illusionist, but I found some pretty devastating ways to use it.

@smwforever45 Thanks for that info. I also remember earlier events having more of a mix of levels. Maybe Rovio’s ABE developers have changed the way in which the leagues are populated.

@jamairoqui I think you’re quite right – I’d forgotten that the next event is a team one. Just out of curiosity, assuming you are Lvl 60, were all the opponents in the last event also Lvl 60, or was there a mix?

@jamairoqui Thanks for the interesting reply. (125,000 would have got you about 10th place in my league!) Maybe I’ll delay playing by a day or so when the next campaign comes around, just to see what happens. I have plenty of SD & FE stock-piled so could easily do what you did to catch up with the rewards, if necessary.

Wow! That was a tough campaign. All the players were Level 60 in my league and I only managed to get 1*. The scores were similar to the ones that @smwforever45 encountered, with the eventual winner getting over 200,000.

Which brings me to my question: is it a fact that if you don’t enter a campaign right at the start you end up in a weaker league, or is that just a hunch that some nesters have? I have never experienced such a competitive campaign as this one, but I also remember clearly that this time I started the campaign within about one minute of the official start.

Am I right in thinking that some iOS users are playing 1.4.7 without any difficulties, but others are having problems? I haven’t updated yet, so intend to hold off until 1.4.8 is available in the App Store, but I don’t see it there yet.

I used to have sure-fire success with Rainbird, Druid and Skulkers as well, but that was before the recent level 60/mastery 15 increases, and this combination is no longer foolproof for me.

Yeah, I did too, initially. So, I signed out of my Rovio account > Deleted Epic from my iPhone > Rebooted iPhone > Reinstalled Epic, logged back into my Rovio a/c, and everything was just fine and dandy.

The latest update didn’t initially fix the nest tapping bug for me, but after deleting ABE and then reinstalling it, all was fine. (iPhone 6, iOS 9.3)

I couldn’t agree more. It would be great if there was a brand new map to explore, rather than just another cave, but I can’t see that happening anytime soon…

Just for info for those who’re trying to resolve the Dojo mystery:

I just went to the Dojo and saw one offer: “+500 Mastery for all blues for 15LC”. Closed the Dojo. Opened it again, and there were now two offers, with the second one being: “+1000 Mastery for all birds for 75LC”.

Tried closing/opening the Dojo a bunch more times, but just the two offers remained.

All my birds, other than TH, are 50/12.

Not like the special rules make any difference to game play if yr. birds are 50/12, but still, curious that they should appear halfway through the event.

Don’t know how widespread this is, but my calendar now always says that I am connected to Facebook and thus eligible for a daily bonus LC, even when I haven’t logged into Facebook.

I fell for this twice, thinking that Rovio had somehow fixed the Facebook login bug, but soon realised they hadn’t when I didn’t get a daily LC. (iOS 9; iPhone 6)
