@epicgrindr I have not noticed any change in Rage behaviour after updating. I still see all relevant attacks after a Chuck Rage, even if the enemy Banner is down. Confirmed at least three times. Wonder what you were seeing?

What I am most interested in is confirmation on Mastery Level 8 and 9 since all the other tiers you reach means you have to collect more mastery to level up than the last time. However for level 8 you need more mastery than for level 9 which seems a bit odd :-/

@datguygamer tosses seem better, although a small sample size as I only had to do the Daily Objectives today, as I have quite a lead over second.
All opponents so far are computer generated, Birds have complete Sets, but Banner is non-Set, and the Emblems are all over the place. I don’t think I’ve ever seen as many “Protection from X Bird” used.

WHAT.? You let your sons play this game? Shame on you. Actually my son gave me his old iPad a few years ago, showed me the original AB and the addiction was on. Nothing I can do about it now.

Wait what, 5726 points from 2 to 3? You absolutely sure about this one?
When you newly purchase a class it starts out with exactly one mastery point (0 would be rank 0 thus not obtained). You need 24 to rank 2 (which is the same as pre-update), so then you have 25. Add 5726 and you get 5751 which is an uneven and illogical number.

I know, it’s odd… My one class at M7 (Stone Guard) and my one class at M8 (Witch) need quite a while to level up, though, so confirmation from my side will take at least a week…

I just ranked up my Paladin from 11 to 12.

The mastery needed now from rank 12 to rank 13 is 34,380 (was 32,500).

Am I right in thinking that some iOS users are playing 1.4.7 without any difficulties, but others are having problems? I haven’t updated yet, so intend to hold off until 1.4.8 is available in the App Store, but I don’t see it there yet.

@kyododom Yes and it seems to be dependent on your mastery levels on your bird classes. If you have SOME classes that are 13+ the issue might happen, however fully mastery level 15 classes does not seem to be affected.

Just got this response to my ticket:

Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry to hear you’ve had some trouble with Angry Birds Epic.

The developers made some balancing adjustments to bird mastery levels in the 1.4.7 update released last week. Unfortunately this caused players that have level 14 or 15 birds to experience this issue where the game is stuck at loading, or receive the message ‘game update required for this profile’.

A hotfix has been submitted to the app stores that will fix this issue – updating your app to 1.4.8 will fix the problem. This update has already been released on Google Play Store over the weekend, and hopefully Apple iTunes will release the update shortly. The update has now also been submitted to Amazon, so this should be in the the Amazon app store over the next day or two.

Please update to 1.4.8 when possible and you should be able to re-enter the game.

As we are sending this message to all affected players, please get back to us if you have included other issues in your message that aren’t addressed here.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience and hope you continue to enjoy Angry Birds Epic.

@poptimus thanks for sharing that info. I just looked to see if Amazon had got 1.4.8 and wondered why it still wasn’t showing up, but thanks to your info I now know I will have to wait for maybe a couple of days longer :( just hope it arrives before the new event starts.

Thanks for getting back to me and yeah it appeared to be my phone. Am getting near full storage on phone so this may have affected me or it could have just been buggy. I was able to play a couple hours after my post.
