Its been 12 days now since I have played ABT. The fun hasn’t been there for a while now and I’ve just been playing out of habit but after a while the same old thing day in and day out has taken its toll.

Maybe I’ll be back like some others who have taken a break from the game previously…. who knows?

My crates gave me Soundblaster upgrade from Level 15 to 16, a legendary pistol upgrade for a worthless bot and for my main bot that I now use, Nautica, overpower from 21 to 22 add that to the 4000 sparks and I reckon it was a fairly good haul

@millforce2k I have been using that strategy for months now without any problems. The only change I have seen since last update is that if the game somehow ‘crashes’ during an Unicron run you no longer get the Unicron run straight away where previously I could have multiple ‘crashes’ and re-run Unicron with another bot or get a better run.

The apology just came in on time, I had 10,500 tokens for the event so far and only had chance of another 200 unless I spent plenty of gems. So now I have the 12,000 to upgrade Nautica from lvl 19 to lvl 20

With only 2 runs left in the event, I can say I’ve really enjoyed it as I was running on 1020% bonus. For the first 5 days I got 2,500 tokens for each day plus extras from placing, crates etc and this last day I’ve got 1,750 tokens for a grand total of 16,320 and as I am assured of at least 200 tokens for the place today I will be able to upgrade Nemesis Prime to level 17 for 9,000 and get 10 gold crates.
But here is the cream on the cake, I did not spend any gems at all, using only natural runs (either 23 or 24 per day) and getting my full 8 hours sleep per night. For placings I got 3rd once and 4th – 6th twice and the rest 7th – 10th.
Unlike some people here, I do not give a stuff what anyone else is/has scored and just play with a target of getting 200 tokens per day but if that doesn’t happen so be it and if I get a better placing that is good luck.

@seaspray I take serious offence at being called retarded. All you ever seem to do is post here with complaints about the game. If you don’t like playing the game, delete it and get on with your life and we can then have a rest from your incessant rants and raves.

Is it my imagination or are there less blocks of all varieties in each run for this event?

I am still running with 5 ruby crown bots and have got 4/5 each day since the upgrade but have noticed that the runs are slightly different with more falling monoliths, less balloon pigs and more flying pigs.  Not sure if it’s because of the upgrade or because of the Xmas theme,  time will tell.

If you buy a new bot for gems you also get sparks. The 5,000 gem bundle normally gives minimum of 100,000 sparks and the 2,000 gem bundle gives 30,000.

In the update notes it says new spark levels have been added. Time will tell how many there are this time.

This event is almost over and as I have been running at 980% bonus I have hit maximum tokens on 4 days allowing me to upgrade EG from lvl 16 to lvl 17 and also get the 10 gold crates and have only spent a total of 80 gems so all in all a good event for me although crates only had 9 accessory buffs plus 1650 sparks.

I had meadow with gold blocks as first segment with swarm after swarm of flying pigs and lost 2 TFs halfway through. Lost 3rd TF in second segment as it was badly injured in the first.

I’m running 1 bot only but not really playing the event much as I am overseas in Philippines and will get the bot for reduced gems tomorrow.

One run yesterday Astrotrain landed and took off during landing leaving my TF stranded with no energonicon or running buttons to use. I hard closed app, reopened and didn’t lose the run.

In the 3 days so far I have only encountered Unicron once and BP twice (in consecutive runs)

I have found that the 1st sector has swarms whereas the following sectors only have 2-3 at a time. I start with either Dead End or UM and rarely have to use more than 2 TFs to complete the run.

Final day and I took the 2,000 gem bundle for the TF which included 30,000 sparks and Jackhammer accessory. Used my tokens to get Jetpack & Pirate Hat accessories and 11 gold crates which were fairish with 970 tokens, 1800 sparks and Sunstreaker from Lvl 15 to 16. I may just scrape through with enough tokens to get Steeljaw as long as I get to 200,000 points and come at least 6th.

I ran most of the event with Ruby crown Nemesis Prime and Silver crown Epic Optimus which gave bonus 980% but only got 2nd and 3rd once each and even only finished 11th one day at 253,000 points

I think that your explanation is rubbish as the incident happened at the exact same time that thousands of players were unable to enter the event in question and the event entry had the circle going around indicating that a connection was not being made with your servers. From feedback I am getting from Angry Bird’s Nest forum is that some may still not be able to get in after uninstalling app and reinstalling.
In the most unlikely case that your explanation is the case my original name contained no offense whatsoever and is derived from Australian slang and contact should have been made prior.
You say that it is not possible at this moment to change the player’s leaderboard nickname, however, that is what exactly happened in this case. So when will it be possible?
Transformers has a long history of bugs, crashes and programming errors and your organisation has a bad habit of just pulling out the “We apologise for the inconvenience” and file it away so you keep to your KPI’s.
You will see from my purchase history that I have supported you in the past but until my original leaderboard name is restored your organisation will not receive another cent. (As an aside as I have spend $$ on numerous occasions I am only ever offered the maximum 5,000 gem package when a new TF is brought into the game and those who have not supported you are offered 500, 750, 1000 and 2000 ge, packages on day 1. I am sure that is also in breach of Australian Consumer Law which I may follow up on at some stage.)
All someone has to do is make an effort and write some code. Alternately deem my new name as offensive, take the old name off the offensive list and I will automatically have to change it…. back to my original one. If in fact you were clearing names?????

@seaspray it said that I could not use that name. I assumed at the time that it meant it was taken but it appears that it was because they considered it an offensive name which goes to show they did no research as it is an aussie colloquialism.

@seaspray I got some rubbish excuse to which I replied a lengthy email pointing out that they take my money, stuff up the buggy game and only ever bring out the standard apology rather than actually finding the root cause of problems and fixing them:

I am just blasting my way through as normal, clearing everything and so far have only lost my first TF twice in the five natural runs.

I haven’t lost the 2nd yet but if memory serves me correctly even if both TFs are lost you still get awarded your points for the run. I’ll confirm if it happens to me.

I actually woke up around the right time, maybe started a few minutes earlier (hadn’t had coffee).

Ended up with SNTrooper in my the same leaderboard. I think I came 6th or 5th. Had previously claimed all sparks plus the one gold crate. The other 3,000 tokens went to coins.

thanks @asen, today is the last day for this event so I will see what the next event is and if I want to play or not. I didn’t see any names I recognised on my board today so maybe no one other than seaspray and myself went in at the same time
