Spark Run!

It looks like there is a new maximum for the level in Spark Run. For a long time (1 year??) I’ve played at the max level of 240, resulting in 418 sparks per segment + 40 bonus. For formula see here
However today I’ve got 419 sparks per segment, implying that I had played at level 241. Unfortunately I didn’t have checked this at the start of the run. (And I don’t want to spend 100 gems to satisfy my curiosity directly. I’ll just have to wait a few days, because I’m without internet during these days.)

Thus it seems that in update v.1.38.1 (android) a new limit for the level is introduced, but it is unknown to me if this is 250, 260 or maybe the sky. (Or that this was just a bug.)

In the update notes it says new spark levels have been added. Time will tell how many there are this time.

Well, there is a new green tier of spark promotions, so presumably the scoring for spark run and events from here on will assume higher and higher promotions.   I don’t have nearly the spark stash it would take to fully explore the new promotion levels, but did bump 2 of my red crown guys to the first green level for a 10% total spark run bump.  got 4/5 in spark run today on 241, which is what I usually get on 240.  Might stay with 240 for a while and try to promote to wherever I can reliably get 5/5.

If we assume that you already have a full red crown pormotion and the next promotion starts for the first chevron 14.500 sparks and if thankfully goes with each promotion plus another 1000 sparks per level of promotion it will be some thins like this…

1st Green Promotion Level – 14.500
2nd Green Promotion Level – 15.500
3rd Green Promotion Level – 16.500
4th Green Promotion Level – 17.500
5th Green Promotion Level – 18.500
6th Green Promotion Level – 19.500
7th Green Promotion Level – 20.500

For a full Green Crown Promotion Bot is 122500 Sparks…

And if you want to advance from non promotion bot to full green promotion 278550 Sparks

So if you have a 122500 x67 bots (assume) that you have all the bots and the new one in red crown promotion 8.207.500 sparks :S

I am still running with 5 ruby crown bots and have got 4/5 each day since the upgrade but have noticed that the runs are slightly different with more falling monoliths, less balloon pigs and more flying pigs.  Not sure if it’s because of the upgrade or because of the Xmas theme,  time will tell.

With 1030% last two days successfully get 5/5 sparks and growing levels. Today I played level 244.

If the assumptions of @elpapam are correct, then the updated table of cost for sparks will look like this. (Up till now I only could validate this table up to the red crown. I don’t have any promotion to something green yet.)

Just played my first Spark Run in over two weeks.

Still hitting 4/5 at +875% but agree it’s definitely become more difficult.  The maps have changed, and there are a lot more flying pig swarms out there.

I probably wouldn’t have hit 4/5 if it hadn’t been for two underground segments with the long row of gold bricks.

I would have preferred that they increased the number of TF slots from 5 to 6 instead of raising the promotion cap to +210%

I am up to level 256 and have hit at least 4/5 each day so far, with 2 runs at 5/5, at 905%. The 400k target has not increased yet.  There must be some point in the mid 900s where you can get 5/5 routinely.

At full promotion, i.e. 1050%, one needs 34,783 points to reach 5/5 and that’s about my average from spark run. Or at least it was before the hard update.

I am not sure about the level, but should be 262. 1045% bonus, but points are growing again – Total is already 405 000, not 400 000 like yesterday.

I’m having a hard time convincing myself to spend 600,000 Sparks to take all five of my TFs up to +210% each.

I would drain my entire stash and I’d basically be screwing myself over if Rovio introduces a brand new squad.

Did anyone else get an offer to buy 75,000 Sparks for 1,500 gems (also 50,000 Sparks for 1,100 gems and 25,000 Sparks for 700 gems)?

@optimuspig, I don’t see any reason to upgrade them all at once.  I would just do it gradually as the need arises.

I also got 1500 gems offer for 75 000 sparks. I do have enough gems and could get this bundle, but still thinking is it worth …

 

@optimuspig Other way, why you need sparks? I really don’t believe there will be new extremely powerful bot that will be released! They are only rebrand with new dress old one. Even if they put new on the field you will upgrade him and promote him pretty easy, as you will be concentrated over only him. I just spend last sparks on my fifth bot for spark run and they 5 are already Green star promoted, and starting collection of new sparks for the future new level upgrades or for probably new bot.

I also took the 75,000 spark deal once.  I looked at it as far more than I could get by spending the 1500 gems on 15 extra spark runs, and decided it made sense.
