    Yep, I was about to post. Google released an updated a little while ago and it fixed the problem. Thanks!

    Oh, I totally should’ve remembered the 4X bonus. I guess it happened to be at the same time that I did some upgrading, so I let my mind connect some dots that didn’t need to be connected. Oh well. Thanks!

    I’m sorry if this has been posted already, but I’m wondering how the points are calculated. I’ve been using Nautica as my starter, and I finally got around to maxing out most of her accessories. When I started this, I noticed that the points I was getting was going up, at its best, getting me about 21K per gold block (all of her best accessories maxed out except for headphones, which were Grade 2). Now that I finally finished and maxed out headphones, that damage has gone down by about 50%. Upgrading my starting character seemed to increase my points, but now all of the sudden it dropped significantly. Can anyone explain?

    Well, I’m at 7240. I don’t think I even cracked the top 10 once (certainly no more than once). I used to be able to get in the top 5 regularly, and now, I was having to put in extra runs just to not be in last place. I don’t understand what Rovio is doing. I recently upgraded my Energon Grimlock to the highest spark level, and it seems that everyone on all of my leader boards was also there. Maybe everyone had two fully upgraded Transformers? I have no idea, but this was not even remotely fun.

    Yeah, mine is still crashing as well… I’m vert curious as to what’s causing this considering there wasn’t an update.

    I have the same problem. It’s extremely irritating.

    There are two forms of this bug. The first one is that it causes all actions to require two presses to work, moving the camera around the world map decelerates instantly when you let go of the screen, and it becomes impossible to okay recharging your transformers in the armory.

    The second form of this bug is the bad one. It causes the controls to essentially become random (as in touching the screen corresponds to a random spot). When this happens, you just have to mash your way through a run and hope you can find a spot that will hit the button to advance to the score board once the run is over. Usually I can get this by mashing the screen enough, though lately it seems to be a bit worse. Maybe I’ve just had bad luck though…

    The problem came back after a few runs. I wasn’t able to play much and ended up in 15th place. I’m going to email Rovio about this.

    I spoke too soon. The problems came back, and I wasn’t able to play, and ended up in 15th place for this period. What a joke.

    I just cleared the data for the game (not just the cache), and the problem appears to be fixed, but I don’t have a place on the scoreboard for the event. I wonder if the crashing was caused by something getting corrupted with my place in the event, and the game would crash when trying to query this data. I’ll probably contact Rovio and see if I can get some kind of compensation.

    Pasting my reply to another thread:

    I’m having the same problem. Sometimes I can finish a run if I wait long enough, but it usually crashes at the end. I just tried to play now, and it crashed in the middle of a run. I haven’t tried clearing the game data yet, but I’m worried that that won’t fix the problem since there was nothing on my end such as an update to suddenly start causing this.

    I still cannot access any events on Android. Should I just clear my game’s cache and resume via Facebook? I haven’t been able to do an event since the first bad update was released. It still shows the end of the Chinese New Year one, where the first time I select it, I get a prize, and the second time, I get 999 of (blank) and there is no exiting that screen.

    Edit: Never mind, clearing the game’s data fixed the problem.

    @audioman612

    This is the exact same issue that I’m having. Everytime I open the game and select the event, the first time gets me a 100 coin prize. The second time, it gets me 999 of nothing and freezes, forcing me to force close the game (on Android).

    Pardon if this has already been mentioned, but is anyone fighting the same three birds over and over? For nearly every battle lately, I am against Red, Chuck, and Matilda (though the classes differ). This is making the already monotonous arena even more so…

    What the heck is going on in my league? I’m in diamond, and I just finished the daily objectives and running out of my three lives, and I’m in 14th place! The person in first has around 30K, while I have about 7K. Granted, I ran out of lives pretty quickly today, but still…how on Earth does someone already have 30K?!

    I logged off and logged back in (after it said that season 7 was over, and I now have a blank “trophy” for it), and it seems to be working, so we’ll see when I actually try competing.

    Today, I got 2nd in my wood league, but I did not move up. Instead, it said I had 21 days left to go. Now it says 265 days left, and most of the buttons including the one to start a battle don’t work…

    @audioman612

    Mastery level 11 and 12 are so unnecessary. It already takes forever to get to level 10, and 10 is a nice number.

    I also have the problem about finding all 7 dungeons to unlock the elite daily dungeons. Uh…I’ve already done that, so I’m not sure what to do about this.

    Why can’t they fix the bugs such as birds jumping all over the screen in the arena or being able to drag the Chili while a bird is still busy, causing the dragged Chili to be invisible first?

    AudioMan612
    @audioman612

    In my gold league, I was in first, until day 2 or 3, where suddenly a player named “Denis,” who is level 45 with the plain flowery frame and no picture suddenly came in with over 60,000 points. Now he is at 166,910 on the last day of this week’s tournament.

    Yeah… I would love to see the algorithm used for the GPM. Above all though, since Angry Birds is no longer the most popular mobile game, Rovio’s quality control has gone down (on all games), and the amount of money they ask for in all of the games has gone up. I can understand the latter; they are a business afterall. The first one though…sorry, no. I would rather they fix their old games before they release entire new games, or large updates with new features but little bug fixes to old games.

    Lucky you lol. If you read through here, it seems that most people have had awful luck with the Rainbow riots. Above all, this update introduced a handful of new bugs while not fixing any of the older ones (at least none that I have noticed).

    AudioMan612
    @audioman612

    So today I was supposed to have 3x Rainbow Riot, but the animation on the actual Golden Piggy Machine showed 5x. I guess it doesn’t really matter because after the update, the Rainbow Riot doesn’t do jack. The “New” signs for getting new items no longer work other than for the week-end spinner in the arena. It’s more time-consuming to get lucky coins (I like that they’re one of the few things in the game that has nothing to do with luck, yet they call them lucky), you have to search for the tiny golden pig, etc. This update was not well-tested at all.

    So I tried switching my Red over to a full-level 45 set instead of a half-old Dragon set, and it didn’t help. If anything, it was harder. The dragon set is the only set for him that’s useful.

    I spent 40 on trying to get third place yesterday after beating all my goals buy still dying o6 times after, and I’m still several thousand behind third in silver league. What a waste. I’m so over this. It’s just not fun anymore. Rovio needs to improve the formula for calculating power ratings. It takes banner HP into account way too much. My level 45 team is usually split between class levels 8 and 9, yet someone with all level 10’s and full sets on all of them (I’m sure level 45 sets) is ranked below me just because their banner has a bit less health. What a joke. That extra 2000 health will go by in one turn once you only have 0 or 1 birds left alive.

    I have played many RPG’s throughout my life. Chrono Trigger is one of my all-time favorite video games. Here’s the thing with them, yes, getting items is based on luck (this is especially true with the Final Fantasy series); however, those items can be helpful, but not necessary to make something consistently passable. Sure, you may have to train a little longer without those items (or usually those items just make things easier but you don’t need to train even if you don’t get them, or they are just for completion). Now the issue here is that these games are not always trying to get your money. Once you own the game, you own the entire game. Rovio needs to keep some way to get people to spend money on Lucky Coins, so it’s a balancing act, because many if not most players won’t want to spend much or any money. Personally, I think it should be a bit easier to earn Lucky Coins (and ironically, getting the one item in the game with “luck” in the name is one of the few things in the game that has absolutely nothing to do with luck). Personally, I think doing the daily dungeons should win you Lucky Coins, not Snoutlings, which are incredibly easy to get.

    I agree with your second statement. As I said, it’s because Rovio wants some reason for people to spend money, which I’m not against, but I do think they try a little too hard. I’ve spent enough money on this game already just to unlock all of the classes.
