It’s the entire Rovio servers that are down…

Not just AB2 but also Epic, and even the official Rovio website is not accessible.

Guess we can only wait.

I swear I faced a more difficult DC this morning than the one I just finished.

At ~10 AM CET I had a 2-3-4 and the boss pig was something from Hamberg I could distinctly remember as being frustrating as heck. Couldn’t finish it, of course.

Just now, ~6 PM CET I got a weird 1-1-2 instead, a constellation I’ve never seen before (it’s always either 2-3-4 or 3-4-5 for me). Along with several other changes like the game now telling the difference between damage that Chuck does and damage that Matilda does, for example. The boss room was much simpler, too. I could simply knock Chef Pig off with Silver.

On the KPP now.

EDIT: Couldn’t even finish the first level of KPP so I’ll let that one go. 3 rooms and a Chef Pig with 1 million HP.

Hey there, I’m back for some Epic action again. It’s actually a refreshing feeling when you play a game again after such a long time.

Wondering if any of my old pals and acquaintances from back then are still around? @poptimus @pointless @dallasreds @angryde @kennymcc

Should I start updating the Mastery table again (since apparently, there have been no changes to the Mastery levels in a while)? My birds are all in the low 60s to low 70s so I’d have a lot to contribute.

Well, I’m not dead to say the least. :P But I have stopped playing Epic in June and haven’t touched it since. Too much going on IRL right now, plus other games, plus the game just got on my nerves lately… Maybe I’ll return some day, but for now, I’m gone.

Another missing Elite class off my list. Only 5 left. Wonder what will come after that?

4th place. I missed out on playing in the remaining few minutes and that cost me the Top 3. :(

1.5k All and 6 SD after four re-spins.

 

I must say that the ‘Hard’ battles were pretty challenging. Especially when there were two Ninja Masters on the field along with the Shogun. :(

Oh, I forgot to mention I got Elite Wizard. Exactly what I wanted, and on the first roll even. :P

 

I came in 2nd and finally got my LC’s. First roll brought me the 2.5k All (yes, my team lost again – as always), as well as 2.5k Red and Matilda each.

I quickly finished ranking up to L80, then I did a 10x roll.

And guess what?
One of the two set items I got actually completed my Ballista set that I’ve been craving for for so long!!!!!

Now give me the remaining part of Twin Lightning and I can die happily.

I took a break from the game for three days.
I think that was a good decision, because I slowly lost motivation for the game and now it’s back up. :)

Just hoping that I can get my 10k points before the event ends, lol.

(BTW it seems I’ve got two cheaters on the opposing team. They went to 10k points within a few minutes and now they’re not playing at all anymore. Due to this, my team is heavily lagging behind… but whatever. I’m used to losing in team events.)

The only one I keep seeing continue after getting screwed over again and again is @smwforever45.

Although I don’t have the biggest motivation to do so anymore. I used to be very enthusiastic about the game and that’s the time when I took over the Mastery topic. I spent plenty of time making tables about my progress on Mastery, dissecting levels and many other things concerning the game, I spent plenty of time on ABN, I spent plenty of time in the game. But my motivation has heavily decreased. Now it feels more like a force than a hobby as it used to be.

Rovio Support replied to my request and compensated me with some Snouts to make up for the missing Snouts from the remaining two events. The amount does not entirely make up for my loss, but at least it’s something.

I wrote to Rovio about my issue.
Hoping for a quick reply… I do not wanna keep participating in events if I am denied the rewards that I worked hard for.

On the one hand I’m glad I’m not the only one, on the other hand I’m disappointed as well that it seems to be a widespread issue.

That’s exactly what happened to me as well.

I was greeted with a screen that looked like the one from last week’s team competition. However, the scores are way off, and the text is a ‘Lorem ipsum’ placeholder.

After spinning up my rewards, I clicked the Check Out button and nothing happened (well, except for my LC counter suddenly popping up). Had to restart and then I was greeted with the Rank Up notices, so I definitely had the Mastery added to my birds.
But I got no Snouts. As 2nd place I should have received some.

Fierce race on my board. I started 16 minutes before the end of the week and managed to finish in 1st place, giving me a bonus chest with an additional Enchantment Shard and 10 LC’s. :)

Seems like a pretty good emblem. But I don’t care much since I only play the Arena for ~15 minutes a week.

Glad you will still be around in the forums, but I wonder how you will participate when you don’t play Epic anymore?

And once again, game locked up after I span the wheel (I did not need to re-spin, but still).
And I got NO SNOUTS, NO LC’s, NO OTHER REWARDS. Just the mastery. That’s not worth playing for. =.=

Like, ok, I guess we can overlook the constant false cheater alarms. We can overlook all the real cheaters you are missing. We can overlook land krakens. We can overlook the constantly pushed away goal that is Max Mastery. We can overlook missing trophies. We can overlook missing Snoutlings prices. We can overlook the missing continuation of the storyline.
But what you did now can’t be overlooked. Right here you completely deleted TWO YEARS OF PROGRESS. FROM AN HONEST DAILY PLAYER. AND YOU’RE NOT EVEN GIVING EVIDENCE FOR YOUR ACCUSATIONS??? OUTRAGEOUS ROVIO, VERY WELL DONE.

@kennymcc, I’d be glad to sign that petition but I question its use. I mean, they could give him an L80-M80 account, but all the set items that he collected over time would still be missing. If it’s true what he said and all data has been wiped, he won’t see it again even if Rovio was willing to restore it (…which I doubt, since they seem so full of themselves right now).

EDIT: Oh, and the original reason why I came here…
I finally got my first Mythical emblem. Woohoo. Not quite happy even though I should be. It’s just the whole story revolving around one of the best friends I met here. :(

It’s currently back on – and I noticed something:
It’s possible to select every type of battle (easy/normal/hard) even when there’s only ‘easy’ pigs on the map! Simply go to the event screen and tap “Battle” below the pig you want to battle. Almost feels like a debug version or something. XD

Currently 1st on my board. Again, I’m not having Snoutling rewards being shown on the leaderboard. Hope this won’t be a bad sign again…

Holy crap, those 1st place rewards are amazing!
I wish I had spent FE’s now. I only came in 3rd and got no bonus shards and no bonus LC’s AT ALL… plus my team lost. By 60k points! :(

Needed four re-spins for 2.5k All, 2.5k Blues and 2.5k Matilda.

EDIT: Oh, and also… I wasn’t given ANY Snoutlings either… all I got was the Mastery. :(
Reason could be that the game locked up when I span the wheel and wanted to close the window. I was unable to do so, and as a consequence I had to restart the game. The rank-up notifications came up but I got no Snouts. :(
