I never purchased bird coins and now I have 24k.
Generally I wouldn’t go on the top position until I am ready (it cost me around 3000 to buy bunch of power ups to achieve that). I would get 3 stars on every stage and call it a day.

The worst: blues (except you have blizzard) or Terence.
I don’t agree with OP with Matilda who can beat the laser pig or illusionist pig.
Missing: Hal (boomerang) which can attack from backward.

26 and 186 have gift shows up everytime I play.

Bomb used to be the best fighter along with Matilda (both have turtle and monster hats).
Red has the best potential if you have attack and defense based on how many Red panel cleared, and increase Red appearance skills.
If you’re lucky enough, you can achieve up to 1400 damage. No joke.
The reason why is all Red panels are cleared when you can line up 3 or more, and, on top of that, if you manage to use sabotage or fever, you can box up you enemy as long as you make 3 same panels lined up.

I hacked mine to achieve up to 2000 damage and defense, but your fingers must be fast enough to achieve that.
Anyway, I stopped playing because I am so tired.

After playing around, I found level 26 and 186 are ideal locations to get red gift and, sometimes, friend’s gift.

When you enter regular battle, you see “connect” button which lets you connect to FB.

It appears only after level 241.
The pig looks like a magician, and it teleports when a bird gets nears it, but it will get stunned for few seconds and it’s your chance to beat it.

I didn’t really count. I think I fought 20 times and got 3 red boxes (no blue).
My guess is all random.
I played 009 about 30 times and I got nothing.

The best way to avoid laser pig is Matilda. If you don’t have her, you can use Chuck for wood, Blues for ice, or Bomb/Silver for rocks, but you should attack from below.
If you have only laser pig left (or it is with other pigs in same location) and you have Fire Gun, use it.

The “unexpected launch” problem can be worked around by using right finger to run the special ability (except Terence).
However, I found another bug: missing available cards sometimes even there’s still have cards left.

Frankly, the reason why I quit Fight is I have to hack the game in order to make it easier. Sigh..I never thought I have to hack this game in order to bypass the “life timer” system. However, this may have a plus side that you have couple of hours to rest once you run out of your life, and you’re not force to “pay” to continue.

Level 116 (Shangham) seems to be a good place to collect feathers.
I am trying to get three stars there, but in turn I got 100 feathers for two birds in 10 fights.

The most annoying things is repeating has time limit though I can hack it, but hey, if I have to hack the game to get something supposed to have is less fun.
