Ideas:

1. Make gems less hard to come by.
2. Make trading evolution essence for materials and coins for gems an option.
3. Confine that annoying little crybaby, Patsy, to boss battles. He is a boss pig, after all, unless the game is “unfinished” and Rovio forgot something. And stop making him appear in pairs for cryin’ out loud!?

We could seriously use it. Whilst I’m racking up coins and evolution essence, what I need are evolution materials and gems. You can buy coins with gems, so why not gems with coins? Trading essence for materials and vice versa also sounds great.

@hubert-lo What’s a Robin code? Maybe that’s what these players used, as I keep seeing more with Red. High demand, mind you! The good news was that I got to hatch and evolve Captain Freedom after buying the 4th of July pack yesterday. So far, I haven’t run into anyone else with him.

Tips:

1. Make Evolution a $10 paid game. Gems, leveling up, and special events are already too cost-prohibitive. It’s like you have to play every day to keep up lest everyone has more team power than you should you skip a day. Furthermore, I spent a good $50 looking for Red and got rotten luck, though I’ve run into dozens of players with our favourite cardinal. I’d happily buy the game and start over. Heck, I’d buy Red too. Until then, Evolution is a wealthy man’s game.

2. The gang’s all here! Looks like somebirdie sprung a leak! How is this possible, let alone legit? Rovio ought to stop this.

3. Missing content descriptors. The game should be rated for not only infrequent/mild cartoon or fantasy violence, but for infrequent/mild suggestive themes and infrequent/mild profanity or crude humour as well. The content per se doesn’t hurt me, I’m just confused as to who the target audience is. From what I see, Evolution is geared toward people who grew up playing the originals, hence the more “mature” themes. Still, I should know what to expect before playing, no matter my age.

In my case, round 3, 5, 6, and 7 opponents are maxed out. Nonetheless, I whoop them. They don’t even bring their spells!

True. Similarly, if you have a preset avatar, your opponent will have the exact same avatar. Rovio need to bring back their randomness!

Also, @hank, please end gameplay on multiple devices. It creates the uneven playing field in the Arena many of us are whinging about. Put bluntly, it’s cheating. If you log into your iThis, you’re logged out of your iThat. It’s simple! One is enough. Arena scores should come from skill and willingness to compete, not how many devices you own. Quality over quantity!

200 points in 30 minutes is indeed impossible

Not if you’re playing across multiple devices. Rovio need put an end to this “strategy.” I see it as cheating. For instance, when you log into, say, your iPad, you’re logged out of your iPhone. One is enough. Enough is enough!

I had the same problem today — 72 stars in one minute! I wound up finishing in second because of this. If they’re not cheaters, maybe Rovio “freeze” players’ scores to trick you into believing that you’ll finish ahead of them.

Sounds like instincts to me. I saw it and, sadly, fell for it. Today at 4:59 Pacific time I was in first with 1,507 points, whilst Dodgy (formerly Igor, spelt Игорь) was in second with 1,456. At 5, the tournament ended with Dodgy in first with 1,528. How is it possible to score 72 stars within a minute? Maybe Rovio “froze” his score to trick me into believing that I would finish in first place.

@jon3800 A wise old bird told me that the beam pig is armed with a gravity beam (um, light sabre?), which knocks birds out of the level.

@aeshna I encountered a Zoom (and whooped them) yesterday, with maxed-out birds yet starter spells. I’m not sure if they and Buster are the same person considering the silver slingshot and star level of 95. Of course, I could be wrong. That said, I feel these cheaters are creating sock accounts in addition to changing their names.
