FreckledPig147@freckledpig147No issues for me, though I’ve seen a few times where I’m at the loading screen, nothing loads at all, and then a few seconds later, an error pop-up shows. However, once I tap the button, it loads as normal! The only time I’ve gotten Error -1 is when I’ve turned off the Wi-Fi and forgot to turn it back on before playing. I’ve seen network errors in past Monster Pig events, but none in the previous one at all. But still, it’s strange that while this game has been released internationally for more than a year and nothing massive has been added to the game (that would be more likely to cause server errors), there still are some problems without any kind of explanation.
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147Has Rovio still not fixed the randomly disappearing monster pig problem? Quite disappointing that there were so many problems that didn’t get attention and any action. I suppose it wouldn’t be a big deal missing monster pig events. I agree that Rovio should go simple and just focus on fixing bugs before continuing monster events or other unstable features. Hopefully they will NOT launch a major update too soon with too many unnoticed bugs, because updates that skewed gameplay quality are probably one of Rovio’s more notable mistakes right now, along with continuing the ordinary pattern without much improvement. I haven’t played Fight! in a while now, so I’ll guess sometime soon I’ll check out what things have happened…
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147The update wasn’t compatible with my gaming device anymore. And since these kind of games bar you if you don’t update (and even more if you can’t), then looks like I’m stuck unless I can link my data to a Facebook account and then play on another device that still is compatible, but I’m way too lazy to do so. On a big screen, it was hard to see all the panels and sometimes I didn’t swipe properly and the game would misinterpret my matches.
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147@dezi-wright Simultaneous events? I would go crazy because of the double gaming, but because arenas last only 4 days while monster events last 2 weeks, I could just spend 100% of my event efforts on the arena for the 4 days and then spend 100% of my event efforts on the monster event after the arena ends. But for the first 4 days, it might be advantageous in the monster event as well because more people are going to focus on the arena. I’d prefer the arena start LATER into the monster pig event (especially 2-3 days from the end), so there would be a large rush into the monster pig event to get the prizes and fewer people in the less urgent arena, which is great, since that means I’ll avoid the hardcore players for the first few days. Or it could be the other way around, which means that no one would focus on the monster event, which is also great, but doesn’t save any ship energy, and the one reason why I like the arenas is that it’s much easier to get arena tickets than ship energy. Also, it’s quite easy to soar in the leaderboard.
About the lab, it was quite boring before the lab, but the problem after the lab appeared was that lab items took over the Premium Slot and that means you’d get already acquired lab items (since S and SS items can be found in the lab chests, but with lab skills only), and the problem of getting items that don’t benefit in the arena or normal monster fights compared to ordinary SS items.
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147If your progress is linked to a Facebook account, you should be able to continue playing after logging back in with FB.
If you remember your game’s account ID (found in settings on title page), you could contact Rovio support (support.rovio.com) and they may be able to recover your data, but no guarantees.
If neither, it would be very difficult to recover your data. The newer games don’t seem to support Rovio accounts (no Rovio account sign-in option), so it looks like saved data can only be linked with Facebook.
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147I hope the lab prizes disappear after Bomb’s next arena (the first that had the lab arena prizes was Stella), because I’m already sick of them. I don’t have the time to get silver or gold. And all of my birds already have an S lab item. It’s too unrewarding to have to play at least 10 times as hard as I normally play during arenas (I never put all my effort into the arenas and monster events) JUST to get an SS lab weapon that sometimes can be weaker than an S weapon in the lab. And playing like I normally do, I only reach rank A – which is unsatisfactory since A weapons are almost completely useless. The skill is also poor. But I guess the gold prize might be worth it for me since I still have no SS weapons for any bird.
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147A long time ago I did a quick search of AB Fight! hacks and found some with anti-ban AND proxy functions, though I only saw gem and coin hacks, and early bird unlocks, not instant energy refills or stat modifications, but it can be possible some of the cheaters made their own cheating software. Some of the banned people may have returned with a different guise (changed name and country flag) so it won’t be easy to identify them. Because no one knows what player data Rovio can track, it could be possible that Rovio missed some of the cheaters completely. Also, no one here knows if Rovio uses an automatic flagging system, an automatic banning system, and/or manual examination, either. Rovio doesn’t specify which hacks they are aware of, or if they can actually detect mods without simply browsing through the data and finding suspicious scores.
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147@jdweagle1 For attack:
– The attack power of each of your birds (because you deal damage once per bird +1 if you have 2x attack mast, and even though Matilda has more matches than another bird (assuming Matilda is not captain), she might in fact do LESS damage than other birds even though they have 10 matches less.) Some people have said that changing the weapon to one granting the most attack power deals more damage as well.
– The attack power of your ship. I think this influences how much damage your birds deal per strike, but it doesn’t make the match counts increase higher.
– How many matches you made during the matching phase for each bird. Every match gives 1 point to the same bird and 1 point to the captain, and if the captain is matched, only the captain gains a match. I also think that during a fever, you get +2 for each match (not sure if it includes the points given to the captain). If a bird gets more matches, it will deal more damage for each strike, although the other factors have an equal influence on damage dealt. For defence:
– The defence value of your ship. The defence of birds doesn’t matter, because the ship is damaged, not the birds.
– You get defence for each match you make. Each match adds defence depending on your ship’s defence value, and I think that matching the captain gives you double the defence income for matching. Fever mode also doubles defence gain while it is active.Sometimes I get about 2000 defence (pretty good against moderately tougher monster pigs) even though my captain only has about 80 points, while other times I get the same amount but with much more captain points, so attack and defence aren’t necessarily at a constant ratio.
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147I constantly get the starter C items, and since you would only get those items ONCE in the entire game before the Free Slot, so I think the statistics were skewed to accomodate the C items. Also, you can still get random items after playing ship battles on the map, but it won’t guarantee rank A or S.
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147@stuntbubbles 4 combinations of what? SS lab items? 4 sets of 3 items of related skills for one bird? 4 combinations of the same SS sets (Sushi, Ice Cream)?
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147In the last 2 arenas, the skill of the prizes was an attack boost against all pigs, the rank depending on the item rank (A, S, SS), so I assume the next arena will be similar, only this time with a different bird.
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147No one knows about anything to come. Just gotta wait. And no one knows until WHEN we have to wait either, but there’s probably going to be something special coming by the winter holidays. If Rovio keeps up the tradition, of course.
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147Yesterday I used the Monster Slot twice (I earned 2 tickets), and BOTH items were A rank. One of them was a totally useless Archer Hat. I was thinking “What kind of player doesn’t already have that item?!”, and since you could easily get it from MULTIPLE PLACES in the lab as well, I don’t understand why the Archer Hat is an item granted by the Monster Slot. Why not put the Rainbow Dango or Music Staff or other hard-to-find A items in its place?
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147NOW sometimes I leave a monster pig alone, then afterwards I get a new monster pig even though the time limit didn’t elapse. One time the monster event bar indicated 3 pigs, but when I opened the monster event screen, there wasn’t a single pig in sight. This helped once, but now I still haven’t seen a Kaiju Kid today to complete my slot ticket. I’m starting to have suspicions about this problem…>:/
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147@sealy This was in effect since the introduction of the entire lab. It depends on which floor you want to play.
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147I only see pigs not appearing in the log and not giving credit, never pigs that disappear completely before I can battle them. Sadly, this means I have to battle pigs I don’t want to battle in order to get one I want. Rovio won’t give free gems for glitches, only server problems that lock players out.
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147I had no problems the last few days on an old Android device.
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147@sahil-gagrai Like some people have said, does the Marvel crossover image have typos or was it already released? I heard nothing about it at all, so was it released somewhere else or did they actually plan to release it August 7, 2016?
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147@swanz They probably haven’t been added yet.
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147One day without a monster coupon. I played 3 monster fights, and all of them were ones that I already got credit for, leaving only the Kaiju Kid that I need to beat again before getting another ticket. I wish the disappearing monster pig glitch happened with ME so I could turn down all monster pigs until I get the one I want. And how come I can’t even budge into the 20,000th up classification? Is there a way I can get the lowest ranking prize without spending a gem to refill ship energy? :(
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147Older slingshot games are reasonably small, but the spin-offs and AB 2 are fairly large. There should be a app size value on the App Store or Google Play Store, but I’m not entirely sure. FYI, the games aren’t up to date on Windows Phone and not all of them are available either. If you download ALL the games, it will be probably take about 2-3 GB, not including savegame data. In the future, most of the games will become larger and take up more space as more features, levels/episodes, and more are added. The ones that don’t are the ones that are officially discontinued or not expected to have any future updates (both Star Wars games, Stella Slingshot, possibly Original).
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147GRRR, sometimes I get my points but it doesn’t count for a monster coupon, nor does it appear in the log either!! I’m definitely going to complain about this to Rovio soon, but not now.
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147I guess the opponent didn’t make any sabotages, so I guess that could have helped. But I mean, seriously, Red’s stats are good in all areas, so it’s a difference of at least40 stat points in total (probably more!). Anyways, if I won, I get the same amount as what I normally get after winning any battle (+5 fight points, +3 map points, added with objectives and chance battle bonus), but if I lost, ditto, and I don’t get any extra credit for going against much tougher opponents (now I wish this battle was in an arena instead- scoring frenzy!!), so whether I win or lose, the payout is still unfair, and so is the matchup. I wonder if level 35 players frequently get players below level 30 at all…because I don’t get level 20 players after selecting the Blues, do I?
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147My THIRD trial gave me an S Mooncake. Which isn’t that useful now since my Red already has an SS accessory.
FreckledPig147@freckledpig147I don’t know what Rovio did with the leaderboard ranking calculations, but at one time I was at about 34000 and then later the game said my ranking was lower than 50000th when I checked the public leaderboard (aka top 200). It’s quite hard to get points because the only high-reward pigs are Kaiju Papa and Kaiju Mama and their appearance rate has been overall less frequent than that of the super monster pigs in past events. The problem for me is that I have trouble reaching 20,000th, but it’s already 3 days into the event and I only have 300 points…pity me. :(
