@papakarlo, like I said, I understand how gold crates work and that they aren’t all legendary.   I’ve had legendary gem crates from gold crates a few times, but never from challenge run prizes. There isn’t anything “epic” or “rare” about coins or pigs, either, but you still get those in purple and green crates!  Probably the most common reward I get from gold crates has been 1or 2 green crystals, which always sucks.

Yes, I believe I already have all the accessories unlocked.  But that’s another possibility.

@papakarlo, yes I realize how the rewards work for challenge run vs. gold crates.  But even for legendary items, it seems they have different weightings.  Challenge run legendary seems heavily weighted to crystals, and some OPs.  Crate legendary seems more balanced and sometimes gives gems.  I can’t remember ever getting legendary gems from challenge.   And interestingly I don’t know that I’ve ever gotten legendary pigs or coins from either (?)

I had a similar result maybe 3 weeks ago, too, but didn’t get a screenshot.  It seems like the legendary rewards from challenge runs are almost always either gold crystals or overpowers.   Regular gold crates from events seem more varied and I’ve had better luck with gems there but not many OPs.

Dirge moves fast, and is very hard to kill, as noted.  However,  I have tried him out this week and feel like he leaves enough things undestroyed that it actually takes far longer for me to play with him than with energon starscream, who very quickly destroys everything.   Maybe it’s a question of my dirge being lvl 16 and energon starscream being lvl 20.

It’s a stupid feature.   Every season,  one team wins almost every single day.  What’s the point? I think it’s rigged/fake, but some will disagree and we can’t prove it either way.

@john12345, you use the legendary crystals to upgrade bots at levels 14 and 15 and also to unlock or upgrade legendary accessories.   There isn’t a higher level of crystal that you can make from them.

Energon starscream is my #1 go-to for spark run.  I  can almost always complete it without him dying because energon recharges him.  Having the crown accessory at level 3 (80% defense) helps a lot.

In #1, I’m not sure what you mean by pig lab sparks.  I don’t think you can get sparks or use them in the pig lab.

Yeah a 2 bot event with no bonus squad unless you pay…😑

The scoring structure has been shite for a long time on these events with only 1 bot.  It only makes any sense if you have a very highly promoted bonus squad member.   So, I rarely play these events any more except to “try me” on the new characters.   This one is extra bad because even if you promoted Volcanicus, you’d have to suffer through hours of playing with that slow piece of crap, and the targets seem extra scarce.  This game is just built to punish people who enjoy it.

@craftymitts, you go into the astrotrain icon bottom right, pick the character you want and hit customize,  wherein you can equip or unequip accessories.

Also, I don’t think that moifirst or grimlockdown work for rovio/exient, they are just long time players so tagging them over and over isn’t likely to help.  Exientgreg though does work on the game and should be tagged.
