I created this forum thread to provide a head’s up on the upcoming event. I will be posting to this thread for all future events.

Event starting today Nov 26, 2020:

• Event Name: Sharp Shooter
• Number of TFs (1 or 2): 1
• Energonicon? : Nope
• Bonus Squad: The Wreckers
  • Ultra Magnus, Rodimus, Wheeljack, Moonracer
• Top Prize: Moonracer
• Token Exchange: Moonracer, Ultra Magnus, Rodimus, Wheeljack
• Special features: “Xmas has arrived on Piggy Island! Come check out the festivities!” – Watch ad yields triple bonus (instead of just double).

Which of the four is the best for a person to try to get? (I have none of these)

triple – coins and pigs? I assume the spark run won’t get 20% more vs 10%

I know you old players are bored with these but I was curious. :)

@wurtzyt6, I use Wheeljack (since that’s my most promote TF in this group). Maybe Novastar is runner-up.

The upgraded ad bonus seems to be map nodes (coins/pigs only) and mission nodes (if you don’t have enough for all 5 chests). Nothing for spark run..

I will be using novastar for the event, she’s beter for destroying blocks. Wheel jack is also a fine bot. The other 2 are nice to have but not more than that.

Thank you both @deindiaan and @abt! I’m old school G1 so Wheeljack will be my target bot – 10K tokens though – that’s getting all the points every day and getting 1st place? I saw a post somewhere about that :) Don’t worry, I’ll find it.

@wurtzyt6 I not sure if posible to take 1st place every day, if you don’t have top promoted bonus TF. Also, during one TF event very hard to take all tokens during day, every day. So 10k tokens is a hard challenge actually during such events. Good luck anyway.

/ You need just 3days be at 1st place and collect all daily points to get 10k. But it’s very hard this event.

No 10k is a lot but with some promo it’s doable. In one week of event(6 days) you are able to get 21k tokens max, which I never did so far. One bot event, maybe like 12k with decent promo like red crown. Good luck unlocking wheel jack👍

@wurtzyt6 Because you do not have any bonus squad TFs, 10k with a single TF is very hard. At best, you can get a +210% promo, which will still require a lot of recharges. You have to average 1667 tokens a day to get to 10k, otherwise you will need to supplement the missing tokens with gems. Sometimes you get a 750 gem offer for a TF and that could be a better deal sometimes.

• Token Exchange: (see bonus squad TFs above)
• Special features: “Happy Holidays!” – Watching ad yields triple bonus coins/pigs.

5th single TF event in a roll.

Edit: Glass blocks only. Hopefully, we won’t have Daily Quests such as Destroy n wooden blocks or stone blocks.

• Top Prize: Starscream
• Token Exchange: (see bonus squad TFs above)
• Special feature(s): Only Deceptihog TFs can be used; Christmas theme and targets

This makes it the 6th single TF event in a row.

Yes yes yes yes yes not a Novastorm event geez I was worried I definitely cannot get characters at 10000 tokens and I’ve really wanted starscream plus I can promote Energon Starscream

Thundercracker and energon starscream are almost the same. I’d say energon starscream because he’s energon fuelled which meens you have to watch less videos when you loose some energy. I will play with Thundercracker because he has the highest promo.

RE: Energon Starscream – in Spark Runs, does he get refueled when you hit the energon cubes? I have Thundercracker running these usually (I’m at level 11 or 12 with him, most of his add-ons are level 3) and I make it through level 65 spark run without dying both runs :P. If energon Starscream gains health in spark runs, I might update him during this event. THANKS!

 

EDIT – just ran it (and failed) w/ Energon Starscream – yes, he does get power from that. So no need to reply :)

These energon fuelled bots are all to weak for sparkrun. For sparkrun better use Nautica or Blaster for example.

@deindiaan Thanks for the tip – I have Nautica, Blaster is on my wish list. I’m only at level 65 in the spark run, so Thundercracker at level 13 does pretty well with all upgrades, once it gets much higher, I’ll def need to up his rank so I’m not taking FOREVER to get through this – I hear some of you say you take 20-30 min to do these, yikes

ADMIN: I feel like we may be inadverntantly messing up this thread with off-topic stuff, My opinino would be to nuke unnecessary convos (LIKE MINE LOL) and remind us to put that stuff in a new thread. :)

Problem is he sucks at destroying stuff I usually always play as cyclonus in events and he’s a way better pick

Energon starscream is my #1 go-to for spark run.  I  can almost always complete it without him dying because energon recharges him.  Having the crown accessory at level 3 (80% defense) helps a lot.

Got a glitched level today it was ultimate Megatrons tutorial in an area you don’t unlock him in but the node looked weird and when I did Energon Windblade tutorial she died so

• Special feature(s): Eggbot, Christmas theme and targets

This is the 7th single TF event in a row. Having the EggBot should generate some extra coins.
