Golden Egg #1
Pause any level and press the “?” (help) button in the bottom left hand corner. The Golden Egg will be on the White Bird instruction screen. Note, you have to have unlocked the White Bird before the White Bird instruction screen will appear.

Golden Egg #2 Mighty Hoax Level 5-19 (rocket ship)
The Golden Egg is located on the right side off the screen directly above the rocket ship. If you zoom out and throw a Yellow Bird in that direction you’ll see it when the screen moves up a little. You can reach it with either a Yellow Bird or with the White Bird. If you opt to use the White Bird drop a bomb to the right of the wood sticking up on the first tower and the bird will take off and hit the Golden Egg (probably easier to use the yellow bird).

On the main screen press the “i” (credits) button and watch the credits all the way to the end and the Golden Egg will appear under the White Bird.

Tap the treasure chest (I had to tap several times). Note PC & Mac users, to open the treasure chest depress the caps-lock then click and hold the left mouse button over the treasure chest and then type open .

Zoom out and Golden Egg will be on top of the cliff on the right. Aim and hit it with the Yellow Bird.

Break yellow balloon under the treehouse. You can bounce the Yellow Bird off the tree or use the Boomerang Bird.

Once on the Danger Above level selection screen drag the screen to the left until you can’t go any further. You’ll see the Golden Egg hidden on the right past the last group of levels. PC/Mac users, you have to click inside the window and then drag.

The Golden Egg is under the slingshot platform. To get it just bounce a Yellow Bird off the trampoline on the bottom right across from the Golden Egg or use Boomerang Bird.

Zoom out then shoot a white bird backwards and drop an egg bomb on the back side of the hill. We were the first ones to find this secret Golden Egg. We have a much more detailed walkthrough and post about this level here.

Golden Egg #23 Mine And Dine level 15-12
Zoom out and you’ll see the Golden Egg sitting on top of ridge. Aim a yellow bird at a high trajectory (click for screenshot) and time the speed burst to get the Golden Egg. You can also get it with a white bird, though it might be a little trickier.

Golden Egg #24 Mine And Dine level 16-9
Zoom out and you’ll see the Golden Egg sitting on top of the cave on the right. You can use your first yellow bird to take out the stone structure above the slingshot. This makes for a slightly easier shot, but you don’t have to do this. Aim the second yellow bird and hit the speed burst at the right time to nail the Golden Egg. Timing is tricky, so it may take a couple times. When in doubt, just watch the video walkthrough.

Zoom out and you’ll see a treasure chest sitting up high on top of the second rock ledge. Burn your red and white birds and then shoot a yellow bird at a very high arch so it clears the front ledge. Time the speed burst so it clears the first and second ledge and nicks the top left corner of the treasure chest.

Golden Egg #5 has an easier strategy: click the credits and go all up until you see the egg.

17-7 is very difficult! I got 127570. Use the green bird to hit from the right, and one yellow from left. Try to use two birds to complete the level. Don’t give up!

and learned that they no longer exist in v1.5. But exactly how could they be unlocked?
I’m not sure which question you are asking.
1) If you are asking how you unlocked those levels, I believe the Eagle’s Beak was GE-5 and the Snoozing Pig was GE-6, so they were unlocked in the same fashion as GE-5/6 are now.
2) If you are asking how you unlocked the star, that is explained in their captions on the page you linked.
-) The answer to the next logical question: Why were they replaced? Because they required multitouch devices, which was incompatible with Rovio’s quest to expand its platforms of influence (eg, PC and Mac).
What would the golden egg 28 and 29 with three stars for completing all levels of birdday party and surf and turf?
There is no Golden Egg for earning 3 stars on all of Birdday Party because it was such a short episode.
There have been no Eggs thus far in Surf & Turf, and I don’t expect any to appear there for any reason since the episode is non-sequential.
It might when they release Surf & Turf pages 2 and 3. (Currently they are “coming soon”)
It is possible, but I think very doubtful.

I guess before you answer that, it does seem that Birdday party splits the story, but doesn’t it resume in Surf and Turf? We’re back to three sets of 15 levels with that chapter… ?
Not quite.
Notice in Birdday Party that the chapter is numbered as 18 — which is sequential with Mine and Dine having 15, 16, 17.
Notice in Surf and Turf that the chapter is not numbered, but labeled as … well, a water splash. That’s why I believe it is non-sequential. The next (sequential) episode should start with chapter 19.
Looking at it that way I see your point. In terms of story though I thought BP was just a chance for Rovio to promote the anniversary. I didn’t see the connection to the story. But, I guess there doesn’t have to be one.

Are you using the Android Market? You should be able to simply update your app there.

It would be illogical. The numbering confirms this is all.
You didn’t answer the question. Why would it be illogical? There is clearly space on the golden egg’s right hand page, no? I can’t believe it hasn’t been raised before.
Sure there is space because more will be added. However, since the numbering is 1 thru 27 and we specifically have obtained Eggs one-by-one starting around number 10, there cannot be any more available than what we have on the list right now.

Yeah, so anyway, what I’m wondering is this: I play on my Samsung Prevail. I’m wondering if I do and update to get the Birthday Party, am I going to have to start ALL OVER at the VERY BEGINNING or will I be able to pick up where I left off…which is EVERYTHING is completed EXCEPT the B’day party and it’s golden egg. I even have all the stars in the eggs completed EXCEPT of course #27 which is found in the B’day party scene… I think you’re feeling my pain if I have to start all over! – Thanks!!
Updating the app should keep your progress intact.
i have a question. Can you zoom out with PC? I do angry birds in PC and i cant zoom out.
You should be able to zoom in or out with the scroll key.
there should be an “extra” section with the Pompalamoose egg.
The Pomplamoose Egg is not a universal Egg so it is not included here. We do have images in this comment though.
