Bird Leader
I created AngryBirdsNest.com in the summer of 2010 as a way to give back to the Angry Birds community while helping myself conquer this amazingly addictive game. My then 3-year-old son and I played A LOT of Angry Birds and back then there really wasn’t an easy way to get help or share strategies. Having a background in web development and video games, I thought I’d approach Rovio and ask them if I could create a fan site. To my surprise, they agreed and even provided some of the very assets (artwork, etc.) you see today. I guess the rest is history. While I don’t respond to as many comments as I used to, I am still actively involved on the site on a daily basis.

FujiToast
You all know the name, but what you may not know is that FujiToast doesn’t like toast. Not one bit. All joking aside, FujiToast has been our go-to walkthrough creator for almost a year now. He’s probably helped more people pass Angry Birds levels than anyone else. Inadvertently, he’s probably saved countless lives and marriages by reducing stress and the time people sit in front of their iPhone (sorry Android users). Not only does FujiToast create awesome walkthroughs, but he also writes articles, creates taffy on the weekends, and routinely saves baby seals from poachers.

The man, the myth, the legend. In addition to being one of our main contributors, Slim is also the chief moderator. He single handily responds to hundreds of comments each week, helping thousands of Angry Birds players along the way. It doesn’t stop there though. He has superpowers! Shhhhh… One such power gives him super news-sleuthing ability. Another allows him to store vast amounts of Angry Birds data in his cerebral cortex. Yet another allows him to understand something called “number theory”. Yeah, who knew. I just don’t want to get on his bad side.

Sal comes to us from the world of game modding. Yes, he’s l33t, so be careful. Exactly how his background in modding translates into an amazing ability to fling our cute feather friends we may never know, but we’re not ones to complain. In addition to being a top flinger Sal is also a gifted graphic designer. If you haven’t already, definitely check out the awesome Angry Birds backgrounds he has been nice enough to share with the ABN community (yes, showering us with gifts can help you become a moderator). These are just two of Sal9′s nine talents. The other seven are: shaving, chewing gum, breaking bottles over his head, smiling, putting lots of straws together to make one really big straw, tic-tac-toe, and last, but not least, jogging backwards.
E-Star
If you need an honest answer that comes with a free smile E-Star (E*) is your gal. Permanently happy, and a gadget geek at heart, E-Star has taught herself how to play Angry Birds on two iPads simultaneously, all while teaching young children that pigs really are green. Seriously, who knew?! When she is not mentoring our future world leaders on the benefits of having an asterisk in their pseudonym, she can be found annihilating pigs in Angry Birds Seasons (of course capturing every second on HD video). While breaks are rare for E*, she does occasionally jump up, put her game face on, then run around her iPad while doing the ‘Vogeltjesdans’.

Just take a look at the “Chrome” page there. Can’t tell you how often that gets vandalized to include …. well whatever that person wants to include. Most recently, it’s been a fascination with Mooncake Festival. Just nonsense.
Hello There, I have a confusion regarding the serial key of angry birds star wars PC, which I recently purchased.In Rovio FAQ, they said one key is valid for ” three installs” so my questions are:
1.Does updating three times via the in-game updater will count as ” three installs”? If yes, do I need to purchase another key after three updates?
2.If I download the recent demo installer instead and over-install it over the old one before uninstalling it, will it still be counted?
Any suggestion would be helpful.Thank You

I think I can answer both of these questions simultaneously.
Updating your app does not count as an “Install”. When you update your app, all data files should remain intact (I say “should” because, while very rare, things can go wrong, as with any update). Whether you use the in-game auto-updater or download the new .exe file by clicking “Download Free Demo”, this remains the same.

Thank you guys for all your time and efforts, it is all very much appreciated :) When I first came here in September ’12 My ranking at GameCenter for ABO was something like 480.After posting all my scores here it was easy to see where I could improve the most (at least a third of my scores were below average). I am now in top 100 at GameCenter, and top 50 here. No way I could have done it without the help of Angry Bird’s Nest and so many people who graciously share their strategy and tips. Again, thank you for this website!

I have a problem regarding the ads on this site. I use KIS 2012 and have anti-banner enabled. Thus most of the ads in this site does not load. But on any page, below the “My Rank, Categories, Comments” option, ads always show up either above or below the “Support ABN! Advertise Here →” link. Is there any way of disabling it? Thanks in advance.

@AMslimfordy, I know this is not the place for this but I could not find any other place to write. The Mighty Dragon walkthroughs are something that I hope for. I have not been able to achieve 100% destruction with the dragon on any level of YOTD. The dragon just does not do enough damage! And I have not seen any koi fish walkthroughs at ABN also. Will you please tell me how and where to find them? I hope I am not intruding on this community’s rules and regulations.

I have a question regarding the average scores written for each level. How are these determined? Does Rovio provide them? While I see that all of the 3-star scores end in zero and are round figures(often), however most of the average scores end in odd figures; why is that?
Average score = AVG(list of all scores entered on the ABN Leaderboard for that level)
@AMslimfordy, I recently formatted my ipad and so all my AB games are lost(backup were made though). I had purchased the SE Huge bundle once(the 980 one, when it was available) and after fomatting it is gone. Can I recover my purchase?
How did you backup the data?
Used the method here at ABN and have also copied the purchases.lua file but I forgot to make an iTunes backup. Will it affect anything since I have not started the restore procedure yet out of fear of losing the eagles
iTunes backups are strictly precautionary (we highly advice it in case something goes wrong, but it’s not required). When you copy back to whatever device you will be using going forward, your Eagles should be held in that purchases file.

@amandeep yeah IKR that skill of playing simultaneously I kept hidden for a while now. But is really affective when trying to reach for the top ;)
There are so many sides to little me, explaining them is nearly impossible. I think @birdleader did a great job at capturing the majority of them, leaving out the designer skills was my own decision, cause I found the other stuff more fun to tell. Many of you know I can do my magic with the design stuff, but I think not many of you know I am doing the “vogeltjesdans” to please the AB gods :D
