Golden Egg #17 is unlocked when you obtain 3 stars on all levels of The Big Setup. To get the star first fill in all the pigs then tap Big Brother so he opens his eyes. Now drag him to all the way to the right. Thanks to Michael for providing this simpler solution.

I think this is an easier way to complete this star:
1.click all pigs
2. tap red bird
3. slide red bird to right
That’s basically what the video shows…
actually it dosent show that…and when u read the description at the top it says: “To get the star fill in all the pigs then slide Big Brother (the big red bird) to the ****left**** and right.” clearly this is wrong and the video dosent prove it wrong…if anything it uses the video to corroborate what it says.

I know it’s been a long while, but I’ve been experimenting with this GE on iPad, and have found steps 1 and 2 to be reversible, at the users discretion.
Note: the star will appear only the first time you complete the level. If you try to do it again, the star will not appear anymore. I don’t know why, probably a bug in the game.

I just got the star again. That video is an unnecessary process. Simply fill all the piggies, tap Big Brother, and slide him all the way to the right. There is no bug.
But I try it again in PC ver.1.6.2.
The star will appear “only” the first time you complete the level.

Not sure which version you’re playing, but I’ve never got a star more than the first time, on any Golden Egg levels. This is on v2.1.0, but also applied to the previous version I had (something from at least a year ago). I daresay this ‘bug’ is not a bug at all, but by design. Why would they show a star pop up if you did not, in fact, actually gain another star?
It was a bug, but was fixed in v2.0.0. See Bug 19.
I only got it once (ver. 1.5.2.)
when I open this egg, there is only the red bird sitting there with it’s eyes closed. If I touch it, it opens its eyes and sometimes disappears. There are no piggiest. What do I do?
There aren’t a bunch of pig outlines behind Big Brother, like in the video?
There was a time that this level was bugged and that is what people saw. My guess is you need to update and this level should look different.
Can I update without losing my place in the game? and how do I update?
For most devices, simply navigate to your AppStore. Your progress should remain in-tact.
tried that and still no piggies
Navigate to the home screen of the app. Click the ” i “. What version does it read? v1.x.x.
Also, what device are you using? iPhone, Android, PC, etc.
v1.4.2 played on viewsonic gtablet. I only have access to handango market
Yeah, well that’s your problem. Without another update you’re not going to be able to get this star. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the handango market, so you’re likely have to do your own research to see if an update is available.
can you you tell me something? The other 3-star eggs have a point like play the the song on birds, and turn the dials on a radio. What,s this one’s point???

It’s an option to send angry birds as a gift to a friend. You still need to fork a dollar to do this.

i completed till big setup (all 3 stars) and all 17 golden eggs. what should i do to go to the next level after big setup.

Again, no known issues with this. Try tapping Big Brother once after filling in all the Pigs, then sliding him.
