Golden Egg #26 can be found in Mine And Dine level 17-12. Zoom out and you’ll see a treasure chest sitting up high on top of the second rock ledge. Burn your red and white birds and then shoot a yellow bird at a very high arch so it clears the front ledge. Time the speed burst so it clears the first and second ledge and nicks the top left corner of the treasure chest.
To get the star just pass the level by using the Red Bird to break the chain holding the big stone boulder.

I tried almost 100 times and finally hit the chest at the upper right cave……..all I got is 500!! >_<
I know, I always think that the chest should be worth more. I guess the chest has very few gold doubloons within.

as you unlock more birds, worlds, and themese, three star more worlds, get more golden eggs, you get more stuff (including trophies) flying across the front screen.

No it is not off the screen. I know it used to be there before the update and now it is gone. I do not have that golden egg. And I know I am running the most recent version.
Before which update? I think there is something amiss here. This level was not available before the most recent update. I think you may be searching in the wrong Chapter.
If you check again Mine and Dine, Chapter 17, Level 12 and do not see the chest, go to the Golden Egg page. This egg is on the second page, almost directly above the Rio Football Egg.
im on pc, it still says coming soon…how do you update on pc?
You can update PC manually by going to download.angrybirds.com and clicking “Download Free Demo”. This will get you the new .exe file and all your progress should remain intact.

If you mean the one on the top right of the structure, it’s nothing special. Only the usual 500 points for a treasure chest I’m afraid.
Tap the treasure chest in Poached Eggs 1-5.
I used the white bird. I shot it at a high arch backwards and droped (if u can see the background u should drop it right when it gets to the color change wave line thingy) the bomb and it landed directley on it hopefully this helps you
Finally got the treasure chest that is on the egg level. It just gave me around 500 points. That was it. Had to play with the angle to make the bird bounce into the openin AND hit it hard enough to break it.
are they gonna come out with anymore angry birds and only angry birds updates because when i beat mine and dine the king pig did not wink.

I just (finally) got the 1.6.3 update today for Macintosh and have downloaded it, but can’t see how to unlock the next level of Mine & Dine. I have three stars on all games in levels 15 & 16, but Level 17 is still all padlocks? Have a clue for what to do?
Try re-defeating the last level of chapter 16 (ie, level 16-15) and clicking the >> symbol when your score shows.

Got it on first try. Shot white bird a little bit backwards, released egg immediately, bird fell exactly on top perfectly.
Where r the other birds. I have only one red bird
that’s all there are, its a chain reaction level, so only one bird is needed :)

For some reason, this Golden Egg level seems to be my favorite because of how the level is designed. It’s so awesome. Just watching each ball drop and pop each pig til’ the last one is gone is cool. :)
Hi….. Any hints for taking out the purple gem stone half way down the shaft on GE 26….Only seem to be able to get over 170k about once every fifty tries….i dont seem to be able to repeat my 175090 score…..
