Golden Egg #8 is hidden in the episode select screen. To unlock it just double-tap the sun that appears in the background below the episode selection buttons (bottom center). Update: If you cannot view the sun on the episode selection screen, try the level selection screen instead. If you’re having trouble be sure to check out the video walkthrough below. What if you are past the 3 pane episode screen?
Just swipe over anyhow, it’s still there.
But how can i get it on PC??? The sun is behind the”Golden Eggs text?
I believe you can go into an episode (for example, click Poached Eggs) and then double-click the sun.

I have tried tapping the sun using my Droid, but nothing happens. It’s the first time the walk-through hasn’t worked.

I have it now today when play my Android and play Angry Birds and when I am in the Episode Selection then I tap once! I have my Golden Egg now.

Is there a special spot to hit on the TNT boxes? I always have to try a thousand times to get it to flow. The brick on top always falls on the wrong position after breaking the glass and the rock won’t fall (PC version).
Hitting the middle of the front box normally does it for me

There is no Egg in Surf & Turf.

I can try it later today, but it won’t be for a few hours. Try tapping the sun (multiple times) in either the Episode Selection Screen or the Level Selection Screen.
This website is AMAZING!! Without it, I would be so lost! lol. but can you post a videos with you doing it yourself like tapping the sun yourself. do this also for all other golden egg videos please!

I don’t understand the variety of scores. I have broken all of the glass & pigs … Everything that can be… but get a different score every time. Can someone explain this to me please? Thanks
It also depends on the number of birds you use, for every unused bird after every pig is popped, you get 10k points added. Also, hitting debris doesn’t always result in the exact same score. Maybe similar, but rarely exact.
I did notice that the rock that flies out of the maze at the start of the game will sometimes break, giving 500 points but sometimes it does not crumble..hence no 500 extra points. Are there more rocks that can break giving points? I only noticed one other rock that flies out, but it always leaves the viewing area. Could this be it? But even still, it seems the scores would be pretty much the same but they are all over the place. I’m so confused. Also, the video does not show exactly which box the bird hits on the launching. I’m assuming this is the key? It’s nearly impossible to perfect this shot because the game moves over to the maze immediately, not allowing me to see where I even hit on the 3 TNT boxes. Sorry about this…I am just such a “why?” person.
1. Actually, all rocks, that when hit enough times, crumble and give points.
2. That “rock” is some sort of ball that doesn’t give points. Zoom out to see it fly through the air.
3. Doesn’t matter, ends up in the same result. The thing that give different scores is luck, sometimes some rocks break while others don’t, welcome to Angry Birds.
4. You could zoom out to prevent that.

Having trouble with this one. On my iPhone. I have tapped the sun numerous times on the main menu screen and tried it on the episode screens, nothing happened but worked fine on my Android. Can you advise how to achieve this on the newest update as the menu screen has changed?
The new menu layout shouldn’t affect your ability to hit the sun. Maybe you collected this golden egg already.
Help!!!! I’ve tapped multiple time on each of the levels and still nothing. It’s my last egg! Please help :)
A few tips to obtain some extra points:
1. Launch Red Bird into the tube to hit the middle box of tnt (not the middle of the closest tnt box) to get 2140 points instead of 2040.
2. The stone that the tnt launches flies back to the left and breaks on the ground or hits the launch structure for an extra 500 points.
3. Breaking the glass round ball on the left bottom for 500 points. This ball sometimes stays in its same area and does not move to be broken by the “steel” ball.
4. Breaking the glass plank under the stone block that sets the single stone ball rolling to the left for 500 points. There also seems to be extra points in this area if the stone block is hit with more force underneath by the round stone ball. The point range at this point-in-time varies by 2k.
5. Getting more than one round stone ball into the tnt chamber on the far right near the bottom right most green pig.
6. There seems to be points gained when some of the stone balls contact the rock structure framework. Case in point is when a single stone ball flies up and hits the slanted structure piece floating in mid air on the far right. I am not quick enough to see the other areas as the game progresses.
7. The column of stones on the far right will bounce and break the horizontal glass plank, fall and activate all the tnt on the bottom without launching a bird. Points gained 16k-20k. This self-destruct action provides advantage because there is no way to get the far left pig because the “steel” ball does not get activated. What is interesting about this action is the range of points obtained from what appears to be an identical self-destruct action. There has to be some interaction with the fall of the stones and the activation of the tnt boxes on the bottom to produce more points. It does seem there is a difference in the force or intensity of how the tnt explodes.
Other than the launch, the “L” factor appears to have a great influence in determining the final score.
This level has a zero-bird self-destruct, which unfortunately doesn’t clear everything. It starts with the stack of rocks on the right side, which vibrate on the glass holding them. After about 8 minutes, the harmonics cause the glass to shatter, dropping the rocks and clearing the bottom of the maze, for a score of about 19800.
Now you can launch your bird, and clear everything except the left-most pig, because you’ve already blown up the explosives that would have launched a rock at it.
Can anyone figure out how to turn this into a win?

I am playing this on my Nook Color and instead of a sun at the bottom of the episode board I have an advertisement for Angry Birds Star Wars. I looked through all levels of the first 4 episodes and can’t find another egg…All I need is #8. Someone please help!!
As we say in the post, you can use the Level Selection Screen instead. But I believe this Egg is bugged at the moment.
