I’d taken a break from ABT myself and I don’t regret it. The game had made me so anxious… I couldn’t let an event run go by. Also, seeing that is still the same mill wheel makes me wonder why I’d delayed so much my decision to stay away from it.

I may return, only if it is worth it.

So far the game keeps crashing and it takes its sweet time to start, if it ever does.

Apparently nobody cares. There’s been another android update, which solved many issues, but not this game’s. It still crashes at starting, a lot… more the 5 times in a row. If I  am lucky enough (please note my sarcasm), it starts but on a different leaderboard, which doesn’t grant any tokens when the day is over. It also crashes when playing heavy action runs, like those with Unicron and when playing long, as in the case of the spark runs (lost coins/pigs on it). Did I mention that the game is slow at times?

Please, also note that I have done everything that needed to be done with the phone, clearing its cache, app optimization, reinstalling the game. Nothing works.

I am still putting up with its issues but it seems the developers are letting the game die.

@noahlot, to make any progress in the game you’d need sparks to have your bots promoted. If I were you, I’d keep the gems (and collecting them) until there is a chance to get a sparkworthy bot (much needed to get sparks). See link above to get a ranking of  all the bots based on their worthiness in the spark run. Also, search the forums for spark run killers.

Beware, once you start purchasing bots at 750 gems, the price is likely to increase anytime in the future. My last bot offer stood at 5000 gems.

Yup, that’s why I don’t go much further than 100-120K, I let the bot die so I can cash whatever amount of pigs I had managed to kill.

I keep falling behind… currently 1561, thanks to a few overpowers, last event I’ve got three out of crates.

So much for having Unicron showing more often. So far, I was able to kill it once and thanks to the abscence of falling monoliths, missiles, and WMTs (maybe, don’t recall).

They happen, just not as often as before. Two events before I’ve got one, after a very long dry spell. Notwithstanding this, I keep trading tokens for gold crates just for the chance of getting gems.

@grimlockdown, you made good points. Back when the spark run needed between 3 to 5 bot, I did try-outs to select spark run worthy bots. All based on performance. Sought abilities were, inter alia,  EMP and easiness in killing pigs and in taking down structures. Now, with the spark run 2.0, I use two event squad bots promoted to red crown and a green crown SR killer, usually Nautica. If for any reason I don’t have a single event squad bot, I use 3 green crown bots, two fast ones and Superion as fall back.

Is anyone having issues with event? Somehow the clock has reseted and it says the event is going to start in a few hours. Restarting the game didn’t fix it, all other parts of the game work as normal.

Both are making good points. But I have to give it to @grimlockdown. If it wasn’t for his list I wouldn’t have given Dirge a shot in the spark run. Thank you.

 

3X sponsor isn’t that crazy if the event squad has one SR killer. A green crown TF + 2 red crown TF’s is more than just a good combined promotion. BTW, promoting 2 TF’s to red crown costs less than what is needed to promote one TF to green crown.  My team for the spark run is usually a green crown SR killer and 2 red crown TF’s from the event squad.

Maybe you are overthinking, maybe not. Are you enjoying the game? If so, keep at it. Or enjoy the “no new bot” time off.

1502 – Motormaster

I am so far behind… missing 14 bots. All of the war pass exclusive ones and  the gestalt squad. I could get the later with gems but I am undecided which one to get first.

Ha! I am out. With no war pass bots, I’d have to put a lot of effort, and gems, to achieve anything… well, only gold crates and that’s about it.

It doesn’t seem fast forward enough. Must be because I am using Warpath as main bot.
