    I was fighting the cave 5 boss, doing very good until the game crashes for no apparent reason :(

    Rovio is milking the giant cash cow, ya know its addictive.

    Practically daily player. Level 25. ‘FB friendly’. Name in profile, created it just for epic

    @cheekyorth I just tried what you suggested and its true, rainbird’s healing triples when healing link connects to three birds(if two then doubles), it’s insane. It looks like given the right circumstances not only is Priest extremely effective, it is the best(I just updated my opinion).

    Wait if Samurai, Druid and Pigiana is not an effective combo, then what should I pair with Pigiana?

    The priest is surprisingly useful. But to allow it to function at its best, you need to pair it up with paladin and another high health/multi-attack bird(like cannoneer). So you are somewhat limited in your bird combo if you use Priest. Also the Priest is most effective against high health enemies instead of low health enemies appearing in swarms. Lastly it would be ineffective against enemies which can dispel helpful effects(you should always use spirit link to be effective). In conclusion given the right circumstances, the priest is extremely effective(Matilda’s medicine combined with spirit link is guaranteed to heal your birds from the brink of being knocked out back to full health), however it is not as versatile as other headgears. If you have some 2000 credits lying around I would encourage you to buy, I even use it in a few chronicle cave levels. But other may not like it as I agree it is somewhat of a niche headgear, but certainly quirky and fun.

    Get priest, it may be expensive but is surprisingly useful in the right circumstances.

    My point is it impossible to defeat the level using pig allies

    Is it possible to beat most of the levels with ninja using Samurai, Druid and Pigiana? I am still waiting to upgrade my druid to elite(currently stock), also must I use a borrowed bird instead of pig allies to pass the levels?

    Stuck at level three. samurai princess combo cannot survive the second wave. Master ninja is practically op.

    Just wondering, does Rovio actually read this wishlist? If they don’t this is going to be a futile exercise.

    A content update with new levels which have insanely tough enemies, but can use four of your own birds in those levels

    Thanks. I’m currently level 24, just upgraded my samurai to elite.

    I did not buy the thunderbird but imo just by looking at the stats I don’t think the thunderbird will worth the cost. The starter headgear Mage is still the best all around group attack bird, followed by the wizard. The mage’s schock shield is also useful if you can bait all the enemies to attack a single target such as using princess.

    I cannot agree more with what everyone said here so far, let the post accumulate further .

    @minionpig

    My strategy is
    Paladin=second healer, use its shield all the time to reduce pig’s healing
    Princess=force the pig to attack paladin and heals paladin
    Lightning bird=use secondary ability on Paladin to heal again, or use it on Princess to keep the pig’s attention off Chuck

    @minionpig

    use rage chili to take out big healer like shaman and chieftan, the rest should be easy

    Minion Pig
    @minionpig

    Paladin is a must-buy imho, its a beast especially when paired with princess

    What is your level? I am level twenty and stuck on the second level of cave four. I wonder if I must use a barrage of potions to pass these levels. I rarely use potions. My two friends are at level four and I don’t think they play the game anymore.

    Basically a winning team needs to make sure the other side does not out-damage and out-heal the team. Secondary abilities like remove helpful and harmful effects etc decides what headgear you use to achieve a winning team. And for enemies with wilding ability like frozen hog or something(can’t remember the name), using up the rage chili can be more important than how you use it because those pigs with wilding can deal serious damage when the rage chili is full.

    Maximum efficiency team

    Paladin-By far the best headgear in the game, useful in all situations except when there are dodge or lots of reviving pigs. Heals as it attacks. If there are too much enemy just use the shield on itself.

    Princess-Removes harmful effect on target bird and move all enemies’ attention to Paladin. The Paladin can take a lot of beating especially when you upgrades it. The Paladin can recuperate in most cases by attacking and Princess’ healing.

    Captain-Its desirable function is the ability to increase target birds’ attack by 60% at the cost of 10% health. But the cost is negligible as both Princess and Paladin can heal. Furthermore, giving Paladin a 60% increase in damage also means the Paladin’s healing ability increases. Also give a rage chili to a Paladin with 160% damage to deal ridiculous damage.

    This team possess some of the highest damage and healing points per round. Princess distracts the enemy to attack Paladin which is almost impossible to kill when used correctly. Captain is just helpful with its ‘whip up’ ability but if the situation demands you can easily swap out captain with another bird. Paladin and Princess is the core component of this class.I used this setup for all my chronicle cave levels I played so far, although Captain is replaced by Adventurer pig in this scenario(or Prince Porky if there are a lot of ghosts). Actually I just beat the boss of cave 3 with ONLY Paladin and Princess without using any potions or rage chili cake, this is possible.

    Avenger damage increases by 2% per 1% health lost. I calculated it and I think the avenger needs to be at roughly 73% health before its damage matches the Paladin. Paladin heals as it attack, while the Avenger needs to have less health to be advantageous, the Paladin will have more health most of the time. Judging from the specs I don’t know if the increased damage of the avenger can really justify its overall lower health compared to the paladin.
