@luvtubFor CVCs, opposing clans are matched up (though not perfectly) based on the sum of FPs for every member of each clan. An “ideal distribution” of FPs in a given clan would thus match the distribution curve of the egg scores because such a distribution would optimize the chances of a given clan member having a higher FP than the corresponding member (along the FP curve) of an opposing clan.
For a given throw, awarded score is destruction (100% of a given room = 100K points) multiplied by the power of the bird thrown. So, inequalities within a given flock aside (looking at Hal and Stella in particular), player effort and skill matter to the degree that they influence how far the resulting score can put the player away from where he or she resides on the FP distribution curve. THAT’S where score matters – for individual players. Total clan score is insignificant.

@luvtubNo worries, @sb311 Happy to help!
Wish I could remember more about 7; it’s been several days since I went through it. What I do remember is that I struggled a lot less with it than I did with 6, but I absolutely needed ME to make any headway. Of course, the bonus birds/spells are so contingent on the birds one brings to the table (I had Red, Chuck, and the Blues), I suspect that results would be pretty variable between players anyway.

@luvtubGot to 6 with Red yesterday; it got a quite a bit more difficult after that. Managed to get lucky with the FF button in TOF today and added Chuck & Blues. On 6, I’ve gotten to the last screen (#5) once so far. Striking screen 1 is possible with Blues, aiming for the top of the left (purple) balloon (or 1 pixel higher) and splitting on release. Strangely enough, killing Chemist pig results in pretty consistent brick changes, depending on how you aim Blues. In this case, conversion to ice helps a lot for a strike.

@luvtubExcellent! Happy to help!!

@luvtubFinally got through Level 7 – without ME. Struck rooms 1 & 2 with Red, hit 3 with Ice & cleaned up with Ducks, got 4 with Red & Chili (for the troublesome pig up top), Red & Blue for 5, and Red low to the structure to strike 6. Feeling pretty good!
luvtub
@luvtub@rawdatasystems Haha, true that!
@sb311 Nice one on Bomb, 5, and 6! 7 is a challenge – I see a possible pathway with my 2 birds, but everything has to go perfectly. ME is in the first room; I use Red to almost clear it. My second meter fill brings Ducks, which I use immediately; ME is the next fill. If Red & Ducks clear Room 1, I use ME in 2 and get Ice and Chili. For Room 3, I send Red low to the base of the left structure, activating him to go low enough to get hit by Magician Pig. If I’m lucky, I become TNT or a rocket and strike 3. I’ve seen the last room (6) a few times.This probably won’t be helpful to anyone who has more than 3 birds, but I guess the point is that (with perseverance) it may be possible to complete the challenge with 2 or more birds.

@luvtub@meme324-2 Cheers, and thanks for the kind words. (I’d put money on a bet that I’m older than you!)
The knowledge about the vortices/black holes should really help to get you through Level 5, particularly with your full flock. Level 6 ought to be a breeze for you as well. Good luck!
I can say that I haven’t had to much progress with 2 birds on Level 7. Best I’ve been able to manage is Room 5 (of 6) with 1 pig left. I’ll keep at it…

@luvtubME = Mighty Eagle
…and Level 6 is totally doable with two birds. ME is in the first room: send Red to the left structure, and loop Blues above the vortex to get the right one before the second refill happens. After the second throw, the second refill will be me.
Room 2: send Red right through the portal to the upper third of the rocket, activating just before. You can strike 2 this way.
Room 3: use ME. If you get 2 refills, the first will be Puffer, and the second will be ME.
Room 4: Red through the vortex and activate just before hitting the bucket pig. Clean up (if you need to) with Blues.
Room 5: ME #2 FTW!
Good luck.

@luvtub@meme324-2 ME = Mighty Eagle And yes, the vortices seem to be helping to cushion the pigs’ landings.
@sb311 Cheers, and I hope you make it through Level 5 soon. I think you’ll find 6 to be a lot more consistent. (Don’t know if it’s doable with 2 birds, but I’ll keep trying!)
luvtub
@luvtubGot it! There’s an ME in the 2nd room. He appears with the 2nd spell refill (i.e. with a full flock). Use the ME on Room 3, and the rest should go relatively easily ( I even had Blues left over)!
Again, good luck…
luvtub
@luvtubI’m stuck on Room 5 of 5 as well. The last couple of times, I’m thinking that one way to do it with Blues might be to orbit a bit over the vortex and slam them into the glass base of the structure. Still working on it…
luvtub
@luvtubRed and the Blues. Send Red through slightly above the middle of the vortex and activate him just before you hit the pig on the upper plank. To get the spell, you have to get the space pig, part of the right tower has to fall to the left, and its debris has to take out the two pigs on the lower structure. (Doesn’t happen every time though.) Good luck!

@luvtubI’m on Level 5 with 2 birds; I’ve made it as far as Room 4 (out of 5) on that one so far.
The key to going far with few birds is scoring a spell on your first fling, then using that spell to earn another, and continue as long as possible without using the birds.
luvtub
@luvtubYep, I completed the Adventure with 3 birds as well.
For the 7th stage, I found it best on the first room to throw Chuck at about 70% strength with an arc, activating him to smash the pig on the balloons through to the right structure, collapsing it, and often triggering the rock thrower to take out the left structure.
For the second room, I threw Blues under the lava to destroy the right structure and the pig above/to the left, again activating the rock thrower and usually leaving pigs I could clear out with another throw (saving Chuck and the ducks).
Chuck in Room 3 usually strikes it.
I found the Ducks great on Room 4; could usually clear it with 1 or 2 throws after that, then hit Room 5 with whatever’s left.
I agree with @dezsike though; deffo took a few attempts to get done.

@luvtubThanks for the laugh, @angrysmurf !

@luvtub@heatherbird Your attitude reflects poorly upon both you and your clan.
You are trying to recruit for your clan.
Clan recruitment is what the “Clan Recruitment Thread” is for.
luvtub
@luvtubWhy don’t you guys post this kind of stuff in the clan recruitment thread?
luvtub
@luvtubWhy don’t the 44 of you plan a coordinated departure via Clan Chat and then leave to start a new clan? Your current leader/co-leaders seem kinda worthless anyway, and cutting their dead weight will only help your clan get matched up more fairly.
luvtub
@luvtubI’ve gotten in the habit of copying my comments to the clipboard before posting.

@luvtub@rogstepper Not sure if this is the same issue, but if you are maxed out on birds and spells (i.e. three showing and nine cards), or just birds on a Boss level (when spells aren’t allowed; i.e. three showing and four cards) when your indicator fills up (as often happens when you do a lot of damage with one bird on the first screen of a level), you won’t get an extra bird or spell; the indicator simply resets. This is something to keep in mind as you consider how quick you might want to throw a consecutive bird or spell, or the method by which you might want to approach a screen that you probably can’t strike.
I believe (though I am not certain) that if such an unrewarded reset occurs, the rate at which the subsequent indicator fills will remain constant (as opposed to slowing down significantly with each refill, as it would do otherwise).
Hope this answers your question!
luvtub
@luvtub@nsar It’s analogous, but not quite the same. If you tap on any of your flock members on the main page, you’ll see the three multipliers to the left of the bird. The bottom one is the bird card, which levels up when you hit whatever point goal you’re working on. The spell card levels are set at the lowest bird card level of your flock members.

@luvtubSure has been quiet here lately.
