A friend wrote Rovio and was told they are aware of the problem and it will be fixed in the next few days, Digger.

I am wondering when everyone will see who is sending Gifts.  I still can’t. I play on an Android Device.  A friend plays on IOS and cannot see who his Gifts are from either.

I understand the Ranks, Stars and Scores from the World Map will be restored over the next few days, Digger.  A friend wrote Rovio and was told they are aware of this problem and it will be solved soon.

I am wondering when everyone will see who is sending Gifts.  I have not seen who sends my Gifts since the Summer Update and still can’t.  I am on an Android Device.  A friend who plays on IOS still can’t see who is sending his Gifts, either.  Can we expect this problem to be solved soon?

Hank, I hope you read my very detailed Personal Message about the very many difficulties the summer Update/Download has caused on my 2 Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Tablets, both Android 5.0.2.   There has been no improvement and if I am online, I cannot complete any of the Games, receive any of the prizes.  Even changing screens can cause the Game to crash. Occasionally there is a freeze forcing me to close the App, but primarily there are endless crashes.

Yesterday I was in town in a waiting room and I was not connected to WiFi or Facebook in the Game.  I was, to my great surprise, able to complete the DC and the Trail Games off line, no crashes.  So I am now playing the Games I can off line and can once again play the Game.  The Arena, of course, requires connection, and these Tablets cannot complete the match and reach the scoring graphic to receive my score before a crash occurs.

I am in the Denver area, Colorado, USA.

The 2 year anniversary of AB2 is mid-July.  I am expecting that to be the date of the next major Update with new content.  The new ‘Teaser Game’ with the Castles we all see may be open for Gameplay at that time.

But there is also a new Card Level coming with a new Game Set.  We have just received Epic Diamond, and that new Game Set should arrive a week from Thursday.

In the meantime, I am experiencing continued problems in my Game, Android.  I am now unable to reach the Leaderboard with any of my Tourney Match Scores before a crash, so this week’s Tourney Gold is lost.  DC crashed once, but, to my surprise I was able to complete it and receive the prizes the second time around.  Playing the Trail remains problematic.  I might get the score before the inevitable crash.  Still have no idea who is sending gifts, but I can see my Gift List now and have been sending Gifts each day.

My tablet is Android and the Game is anything but stable as I have just posted today and yesterday.  Glad for you, sad for me.  But the problems are quite widespread and far reaching. My Android friend is having the same issues that I am.  There is much work to be done up there at HQ.

And so the difficulties continue today.  As happened yesterday, after completing the DC, instead of receiving the prizes, the Game crashed.  But it remains to be played again and I tried again and  had the same result.  So Gameplay is all but impossible now.  Struggled to catch up in the Arena as only half my scores reach the Leaderboard now.  A competitor easily passes me by.

Surely some of these problems were anticipated.  Every good piece of software is tested and debugged before release.  Rovio is making it so hard to play this Game.

Perhaps it is better to just sit on  the sidelines for awhile.

It’s hard to enjoy the June Update when the Game crashes so frequently.   I have no idea who is sending me gifts.  Half the time I have no friend list and can’t send the gifts I capture.  I’m losing ground in my Arena Tourney this week because the Game is crashing about half the time, and I am unable to reach the Leaderboard and register my score.  The DC has crashed mid round and the Trail is very difficult to score, even in Airplane Mode with WiFi off.  In all the Games, still getting crashes.

I’d say whatever fun the Summer Update/Download might have been is being obviated by the problems and crashes.  This is one of the worst, and there have been some doozies  since this Game rolled out.

Any relief in sight?

As the New Levels are added to the World Map, that portion of AB2 seems increasingly less stable. After this Easter update it has become problematic in my download to play the new Levels. I cannot count on finishing the Level without the Game crashing. If I do finish, I cannot count on being able to return to the Map to play the next level without the interruption of a crash. Sometimes there is a crash after I select the World Map to play the new Levels. There has been no remedy for this problem to date, but rather it grows worse.

I like the new update. I say, Well Done! The 3 Chests, Common, Rare, Legendary – Great Idea. I actually selected a 500 Black Pearl card yesterday to my great surprise. That’s fun! More prizes more easily acquired. New Hat Set. All good.

I think Silver is more powerful, certainly in my Game. But the Blizzard has only shown me something earthshaking once. All of other times, a block or 2 of ice fall … not much different there so far.

It seems like the crashing problem after DC and then losing the Black Pearls has been fixed, at least in my Game. KPP, well, I’ve abandoned it. When the Game puts a target on my back and I know I have to pay to play, no other way. Well, not for me.

I liked the Tower before and still like the Tower. Maybe I just have good luck with that one, but I have made it to floor 15 or 20 and only selected 1 or 2 Pigs quite a few times. Still fun.

I’m still having problems on the Trail. The Game often crashes when I complete a level and try to return to the World Map. Sometimes I have to replay the Level, sometime not. But I do have to restart the App about half the time. That was happening before, so for me, that problem is not yet solved.

Sorry I missed your visit to this thread, Hank. I am reporting again that I am still not getting any Gems from the small Treasure Chests, as I have said several times, and paid the premium for this feature.

And now, a new wrinkle. The Game is crashing after receiving Black Pearls from the DC and KPP and selecting ‘Next’ to return to the Home Screen. The Black Pearls vanish along the way. Even though I saw them added to my BP Reservoir, they never reach the Home Screen. (Did the Piggies steal my loot?)

When I am offered an extra card for watching a video in an Arena match, the Game is freezing …. it never thaws. So the match is lost, the Streak is lost and the potential Score is lost.

Any hope for a reprieve from these problems and a return of gems from the small Treasure Chests?

I wish I could say the same as CaptSternn and some others posting on this. I am still NOT receiving any Gems from the small chests. And as I have posted several times now, that is a premium for which I paid. I’m glad the others posting are starting see the gems return. Is it just a matter of time before my turn comes around or ….? Still expecting something good to happen about this, but patience wears thin.

I, like you, held on for a long time to stay in the Diamond League and then, after a year, decided I just didn’t like the pressure and really didn’t care what League I played in.

I started playing just enough to satisfy the Daily Quest and dropped down to the Amethyst League where I could play less and still receive the some gems and BPs. My plan backfired, however. I won my Tourney and there I was again in the Diamond League.

Decided to drop down again and this time played just enough for the Daily Quest rewards and dropped all the way down to the Emerald League. My plan? To play enough to capture 4th place, receive some gems and BPs and enjoy the Arena more by playing less.

My plan backfired again and in 2 Tourneys I won my way back to the Diamond League. Now I can’t get out. haha. There are a half dozen players in every Tourney who don’t play and I can’t drop below them when the Game starts me out in the #1 position each week. But … the Tourney competition groups have gotten easier and I don’t have to play as much to capture a medal and some gems and BPs. That works for me.

But I have to add, I like this Game and have fun with it. If you don’t like the Game, stop playing.

After the Christmas update my Game would freeze at the end of a DC or KPP round, then resume and continue with no further discontinuity. After the Valentine’s download, I have experienced no problems. AB2 App is stable in each of the games: DC/KPP, Arena, Trail. I still am not, however, receiving gifts from the small treasure boxes. I have stated before, I paid a premium to receive Gems from these treasure boxes every 15 minutes, though they are not being given.

I like the Blizzard Spell. It is often more useful to me than not.

Edited to add. I am in Colorado and play on Android Samsung Tablets. I have had no crashes in a very long time. After the Christmas update the Game did some freezing at certain points, but it never crashed. No problem after the Valentine Update in Colorado, but it was freezing during my visit to Scottsdale, AZ. Still no crashes, though.

Question: Is the problem regional?

Many were affected and some weren’t. No clue about it, except it is really annoying when it happens. Edited to say, congrats on your Tourney win!

It was explained last spring that each of our icons are placed in many Tourneys, but the only one that counts for us is the one in which we see ourselves. A player may be ‘single starred’ in one Tourney and continue to play and score in the Tourney that (s)he can see. I was witness to this when friends playing together were actually in each other’s Tourneys one week. Mid-week, one friend, friend 1, was single starred in friend 2’s Tourney and drifted to the bottom. Friend 1 continued to play and win the Tourney that he could see. So the single star gives the impression that Hackers are being eliminated from the Game, and perhaps sometimes they are. I see it more as a device to give confidence in the Game, @jo-ha .

I have the same version of the Game as you, Captain. I was in the Arena when the Tourney ended and received my gems and BPs promptly.

Since the Valentine update/download, the Gems from the small Treasure Chests which, btw, I bought a package to receive Gems from every 15 minutes, have once again stopped delivering. My only Gems are again coming from Gifts, as they did for some time, from the preceding major update/download.

Chucky-2, those screenshots are very helpful. Glad you posted them. Hope any other new players who are not clear about the Hats and Sling upgrades see these screenshots.

The sync between the 2 devices on the same O.S is different than syncing between two devices on different O.S.
