    Buzz Boom – Thank you for reaching out.  I appreciate your sincerity.  Trying to keep track of 49 other players is sometimes challenging, and it may have been an oversight.  I do not remember everyone that was an original part of the clan (first 12 or so), but you detailed enough to know the challenges that we went though in the beginning.  I do know that you had been around for a little bit, and that is appreciated.  What I did before booting you was communicate to the entire clan through the clan chat interface, so see if anyone saw a message concerning why you may have been absent.  I try to pay attention to what everyone does and contributes, but I do not go as far as making a spreadsheet or manually tracking…its a game, not a real-life job or academic project.

    My observations may be wrong, and if they were, I apologize for the oversight and inaccurate observation.  What I observed (or perceived, rather), is that it looked like you were contributing 1 point per match or event for a while (several events).  That was the issue, and again, I apologize if I am incorrect in this.  I asked the other clan members, and sent several messages to you in the chat asking you to contribute more, given your star ranking and flock power.  No one, to include myself, received any correspondence or communication from you, so I made the decision to boot you.

    I did, about a month ago, requested a minimum contribution from each clan member, in order to make it more fair to everyone.  Those that chose to give more could, as some have the gems and others were chasing the pearls in the top 3 or 5 places in the events.  This is not a hard requirement, but a requested minimum.  I booted one other person prior to you because they would constantly tell the clan to push to complete, while only giving 1 point themselves.

    There are always exceptions, such as being away for work, out sick, etc…and I will always be OK with that.  What I do ask for is communication.  I wish you would have told me beforehand that you were going to be away for a while, or on sparingly for a while due to work, life, or whatever.  I am guessing by your name, @divamd, that you are a Doctor??  If that is the case, I definitely understand that you will be away at times.

    Without turning this into a novel, I will end it with this…given your message to me and the clan above, I will gladly let you back into the clan once there is an opening, which may be soon.  In your case, I will leave a slot open for you if you want it once it becomes vacant.  I normally do not give 2nd chances (I have been burned in real life enough), but I believe this to be a miscommunication, or lack of communication somewhere (not assigning blame or fault either way…it is what it is).  All I ask is that there is a better attempt at communication within the clan chat.  Even if there is an understanding that you may disappear at times due to work, I am OK with that.

    A little about me real quick…I have an MBA, and was previously in the military and have been in combat.  Communication is extremely important to me, in life, business, and even in the game.  All I ask from anyone is to communicate and let me know if you will not be on, or on as much for a given amount of time, as a courtesy.  Also, I saw your friend request through here and have accepted.  Thank you again for reaching out..I am sorry if I made a mistake due to misunderstanding the situation, and if you are still interested, I look forward to you rejoining us.

    I think anyone with 1/2 a brain is aware of that.  Can you do something besides complain about AB2 all the time?  Yes, the game has issues, but you take it to a new level.  Your complaining is not constructive…I perceive it as just whining.

    You are no better.  For the 1/2 day that you were in my clan (and I say “my” clan because I am the one that paid gems to create it, so it is mine), you played, shot up to 1st place, then chose to leave, taking your points with you and practically screwing the rest of us in the process before the event was over.  So much for being a team player.  Fortunately, the rest of the clan is a great group of players and individuals that made up the points.  It was an open clan for anyone to join, but you are the reason that I closed it.

    @raizir  I understood, but not to sound mean or condescending, but that is not a concern to me.  Frankly…that’s great if you choose to not pay, but I do have issues with those that try to freeload at the expense of others.  I am not saying that you are or are not, but when I consistently see that a player only plays the 1 point, and is not willing to pay the 20 + 40 gems (60 total to attempt to get 3 and 6 points respectively), I perceive that as freeloading.  Those are the players that will get kicked.

    It is unfair for someone to only contribute 1 point (or not much more) to get the same rewards as someone who contributes 30 plus points (and spends 600+ gems in the process).  We have a good team that usually rotates who gives big points in a given event.

    If you want to be a free player, that is fine.  No issues on my end.  BUT…do not try to reap the rewards at the expense of others.  That is freeloading, which will NOT be tolerated.

    Again, I am not saying this is the case with you, but this is the perception that I am getting.  Please feel free to prove me wrong.

    @maxstar  Thanks for the heads-up.

    @raizir
      I will give you a chance in my clan.  With that being said, if you are only going to give 3 points for every challenge (minimum effort), this might not be the best group for you.  Yes, we do have a few that have given 1 point in the current event, but these players have given 30+ in the past, and very recently.  I do not mind if they take a break.  I also have a player that is working and will be out of cell/wireless range capability in a remote area for a few days, and 2 that are sick (1 with flu-type and 1 that just had wrist surgery).  They get passes, but all have contributed.

    If what @maxstar has stated is indeed true, this might not be the best fit.  I have set a minimum (which is 6 for a 550 point, 5 day event) and have no worries that we as a group will hit the 550 points.  That doesn’t mean that the minimum is all that I want to see for every event.  The person that I kicked right before you, was a consistent 1-pointer that also pushed others to score more.

    I am keeping an open mind, but make sure you contribute.  Consistent minimal effort does not cut it.  It is unfair to the rest of the clan.

    @raizir  I do not care about an individual’s flock or bird power.  That goes up with game play and experience.  What I do care about is that the player contributes.  Not playing or a consistent 1 point per event will get someone kicked from my clan.  If you are willing to give at least 3 points (6 for 5 day events), and do so consistently, then you are welcome to join my group.  The clan name is “SERIOUS PLAYERS” #38261.

    @stevey  “I feel VERY lucky to be part of the clan I’m in right now and it’s encouraged me to improve”.  Thank you for the kind words.  I am sure that I am not speaking only for myself, but for the group as a whole.  Glad to have you as a part of the clan as well.

    @juan-luis-valenciaga-parma  I have an opening in my clan if you want to join.  The clan name is “SERIOUS PLAYERS” #38261.  You are welcome to join us.  I am the clan leader/creator and am VERY ACTIVE.

    @shiggy  That’s where I am at for 1 bird…all the others are Epic Diamond or Epic Amethyst.  Just too many feathers to upgrade, especially in comparison to the payouts.

    @jai-mcgraw

    @christian-cosgrove  Maybe.  I saw something on the AB2 FB Page saying that some of the updates would be tomorrow (Friday), such as Clan vs.Clan.  I had to do a force-update to get it this morning, so that I could see the new clan event.

    @jai-mcgraw

    @christian-cosgrove  On my update, I only have 20 new levels, and no Halloween sales.

    Jai McGraw
    @jai-mcgraw

    @stevey  I would get all the lower hats and complete as many hat sets as possible first.  Your flock power increases by 7 for every slingshot upgrade that you make.

    @jai-mcgraw

    @oldboysmash  I remember and miss when it dodn’t take 50,000 feathers to level up a bird.  At one time, I really enjoyed getting spells in every common chest, and when a new card and map levels were released, just having to receive feathers once for each bird, them being maxed again.  Once I reached 30k, then 40k, then 50k feathers, I gave up trying to max out.  It is just too many!

    I also agree with you about gems.  I have won 1000 gems in a rare chest once, but would not complain about 200 gems either.  Overall payouts are now crap!

    @raizir  I agree with what the others that said to use Chuck.  For me, that is the easiest way.

    Jai McGraw
    @jai-mcgraw

    @maxstar   My understanding is that if a clan member is booted by the leader, but has played, such as in the case of your 51st player with zero points, then they will still be eligible for the payout at the end of the event.  If they did not play, they would have a (-) instead of a (0) next to their name, and would not receive a payout.

    Now…if they left the clan on their own, they would not show up in the player listing anymore, and their points contributed to the clan would be lost.

    It appears that in this case, this person will collect once the event is over, but otherwise is not a clan member and will not show up in the member listing outside of the specific event.  Hope this helps.

    A larger clan would be nice…but we are full at 50 and are doing great.  Most of the members are from other clans.  They got tired of being the only few that ever played in their old clans, so we have a very active bunch.

    My clan is the same way, where almost everyone participates.  I got tired of being in clans where no one played, so I formed my own.  We started with a few players that maxed events…now we are a full clan, so it makes it a lot easier.  Give it some time…you will get there!  It took a few weeks, but well worth the wait to have a full clan of players that like to play and chat!

    Hello!  As of right now, the clan is full.  It looks like I will have 1 opening coming up.  The last event, 49 of 50 participated, and the one that did not has not for the current event.  If that is the case, I will boot them.  If one of you want to join, let me know.  I do not like to add new members mid-event, especially if the clan has finished the event (not fair to active players that have contributed).  As of now, we have not finished yet, but we are close (477 of 550, with 46 members contributing, 39 with 3 or more points, with 3 days left).  If you still want to join, let me know.  We would love to have you as a part of the clan!

    Effective immediately, if you are interested in joining, you will need to send a request, as I am making the clan a “CLOSED” clan.  The clan name is “SERIOUS PLAYERS” #38261.

    Since the initial message to start this thread, we are at 35 members, and most are very active, with a few not as active, but still active.  No oxygen thieves here.

    Due to an issue last night, I have chosen to close the clan.  Someone joined about an hour before the event was over (after the maximum goal was reached), and played enough to get first place.  Once it was over, they collected, and left.  The clan has no need or desire for anyone like that to come in, so I will close it and will accept new members by invite only.

    Nothing else has changed…we are still looking for those that want to contribute.  If you want to be a part of that, you are welcome.  Send a request, and I will honor it.  Thanks.
