I quit playing Angry Birds 2 in March…best decision I ever made. Angry Birds 2 becomes only the 2nd Rovio game that I’ve uninstalled and never played again (first one was bad piggies).

I got a grip…I uninstalled the game. I use to love the game but all the change and the arena battle and the inability of Rovio to fix that and two other issues were enough for me and to be honest I feel much better.

Haven’t played Angry Birds 2 in about a week and I don’t have any withdrawals. I have never been able to gift in the game or receive a gift. The problem started in Angry Birds, Go. Was able to give, get gifts and than it stopped. I did all of the suggested fixes with no success.

Maybe Rovio should just stick to a couple of games…way too many games.

@bankler the Arena battles is where most of your complaints with Angry Birds 2 is. Many players aren’t doing the arena battles because of issues within that part of the game. I guess Rovio thinks that this was a smart idea because Rovio sees it as a way to make more money. Why not concentrate on what works and make it better.

In regards to the wrong bird why do I predominately draw the blues against a structure (extra card). I get that well over 70% of the time. I usually quit the battle at that point.

@bankler, sorry but I call BS on that. Explain to me how I lose to a Level 7 player that brings in nearly all their spell cards. People are getting frustrated with the arena battles. Most of the time when I get the extra card for watching a video it’s The Blues who are worthless going up against most structures.

@john-michael-jones I haven’t been able to send or receive gifts since they launched this game. I’ve tried everything they’ve said to do. The gifting issue in Angry Birds Go let me to uninstall that game permanently. Wish that Rovio would just stick to a couple of games and not continue to add more when you obviously have issues with a couple of them.

Honestly I think Rovio doesn’t care about us true Angry Bird players. AB2 was a good game until they introduced the Arena. If Rovio thinks that I’m going to spend money on gems or the like…fat chance. I uninstall the game (will join the two Rovio games that I already have in the grave yard…Angry Birds, Go and Bad Piggies).

@mvnla2 I’m agreeing with you. I just finished a battle in the arena and my opponent was grayed out for the last two birds. As soon as I threw my last one he/she came up with three games. Rovio is turning this game into a joke. It’s getting to the point where I’m deciding if I just uninstall the game.

Of course player level doesn’t matter. I lost to a player who was a level 10 but brought in 5 of their spell cards. So starting out it was my +4 to their +9 in cards. Lost the game by over 600,000 points and the gimme bird I got was The Blues going up against a rock structure. Totally useless.

Of course I lost this battle. For cards it was mine (+4) and the opponent (+8). I lost by 400,000 points and the gimme bird for watching a video was the blues going up against rock structures…totally useless.

@sutekh137 you are correct. I went from being 500,000 up to 600,000 down all from the three spell cards. I’ve never got that amount of damage from the Mighty Eagle. If Rovio thinks I’m going to spend money on buying spells good luck with that. I’ll delete the game before I buy into spending money on spells.

@bankler @sutekh137 @dwhite40704 I had an opponent today just before I headed to the gun range. He ended up bringing four spell cards to the battle. After I threw my last card I had a 500,000 point lead over him only to see him get three consecutive Mighty Eagles and the “gimme” card I was given was “the blues” going up against a wood structure. Yeah, I lost by over 600,000. I wish they would get rid of the spell cards altogether in the Arena.

@bankler obviously the spells cards haven’t been removed as being drawn as destructometer card in the Arena. I was just given one and of course it proved to be worthless as it did no damage when I used it.

@mvnla2 I’ve been unable to gift or receive gifts for well over two years (Angry Birds Go and now this game). I cannot for the life of me figure out what is wrong and Rovio wasn’t able to help. I’ve got two Rovio games that I no longer play (Angry Birds Go and Bad Piggies) and this game could very well become the third.

I also feel that the Arena play is better with this update. While I’m happy that no spells are dealt it would be nice if spell cards couldn’t be used in the arena battle. I’ve battled two players so far that brought five spells into the fight. I lost both times by 500,000. Even with the extra bird it hasn’t helped as I’m usually dealt a bird that is useless against the structure I’m going up against (blues against stone).

Earlier today in the Arena I was only battling people at the same level that I was…it’s now back to the original way.

@furby69 we will have to respectfully disagree on spell usage being a disadvantage according to you. If you think the Mighty Eagle barely does any damage then you don’t know how to use him correctly. I’ve only found the Mighty Eagle to be useless against glass structures. I agree with your assessment on the ice spell and the falling ducks are somewhat limited as to how they drop and where. The last person I played that used all spells had two birds one level below mine. I only had one at a level 4. After two screens their score was at 1.7 million while mine was just under 800,000. The first screen I had a single structure that I totally cleared.

@furby69 I will disagree with you on spells. I’ve had players use their full assortment of spells in a arena battle with me twice. Both times I was beaten by well over 2 million points. I was getting strikes 90% of the time and pretty much clearing the room of the structures. I can understand how people are getting fed up with the arena battles. I’ve hit the TNT next pigs and on more than one occasion it has left the pig there.

@mvnla2 I’ve gone up against two people who have used all of their spells in a game and I can tell you that the scores that I got beaten by wasn’t even close even when I was clearing the levels with one bird. Both of these players where lower level players one was six and the other four.
