They did send me a response. They said they are aware but need to dig deeper to discover root cause. I think it must be a coding nightmare to figure out and solve this bug. In the mean time…save your gems. :) try and hope for the best.

This is affecting a lot of people. Whether you share battles with friends, playing field or not at all. They disappear. Which also means when this is happening you don’t have the ability to get fights shared to you. Sometimes it has helped to close the app for a few minutes. It is a huge bug affecting many players. Rovio expressed to me they are aware but the need to dig deeper to find the root cause and fix. I wonder if releasing the 1v1 mode caused problems with the game in other areas. But I am not a programmer. ;)

I just have 5 in a row disappear. Whether you fight now or not. Share with friends or the general field. They always disappear. Looks like Rovio is on the hook again.

I did try it. But the notification needs to be more apparent. First I sent a message on FB to a friend in the game. When they invite you, it shows up under your mailbox under friends. So nothing comes up on the screen. You have to go in the in box and look for it.

I think Rovio came through. They seem to be a company that puts up in their best effort. #respect.

I got all the event rewards in my teir again plus the ship. They probably did a query like “everyone ranked 3000 or below gets the ship.” Just to be safe. So more than likely some people got the ship even if their rank wasn’t legitimately high enough. Good for them.

I have contacted them before. Sometimes only to give positive feedback and nothing more. It took a lot longer to get a response this time which leads me to believe that their inbox was swamped. I give them props for always responding. I think they are trying to make things better and improve play. This is somewhat new territory for Rovio with attempting real time ranking and testing servers to their limits. Live and learn. It will get better. I contacted them regarding my huge ranking loss.(248 after the last minute of the event.) 548 in the morning after. There are huge shifts in ranking that if one is trying to rank they have to put a ton of additional energy, time, potential money to pad their score in hopes of achieving their desired rank.

As always, they repsonded, though longer wait than usual. Perhaps to many inquires. They are still working on fixing and verifying the ranks and awards.

I believe when sabotage is triggered, you are getting the effective points for each panel erased. In other words, the ones that get erased from the actual sabotage (one at a time for the blues for example.) you get rewarded for those. Theresulting after effects whether is no tiles, multiple combos or a 3 match are rewarded accordingly. Every tile erased is scored accordingly.

Here is what Rovio said.

“The ranking is unfortunately not updated in real time, because that would cause too much load for the servers. This is why your ranking sometimes acts strangely.”

I can understand that given the amount of players. However, in other games I have played when an event ended, the amount of ranking changes after the event is not that drastic. I did email them again just letting them know that this is a hot topic on the forum and needs to be further address. Real time and money are invested and one shouldn’t have be concerned with falling out of the current rank tier.

I finshed my best ever. 298. ANd I knew it would fall some. But this morning, I was ranked 548. In the top 500, it’s not enough to finish in the middle of the pack.

When I play an event seriously, I place around 1000-2000./if I want to take it more seriously i can. Current rank around 510. I have mid level equipment and play decent.

I would just keep adding Friends until you have enough to make submitting a fight request worthwhile. Like 50-100/friends. It looks like they will have an option soon to battle friends. So even if they aren’t playing an event and you’re still sending fights tonthe field, looks like a fun option on the side.

How do you tell whether a ship doubles or triples life? I currently have the red whale ship hull.

As long as you become facebook friends with players that play AGF logged into FB. They automatically show up as friends in the game. But you may not wish to friend random people on FB. But if you wish to, just request away! :)

I will continue to share battles with the field until I can get enough friends so where it’s not a gamble sharing the battle.

`@ place 662. Point total is 14849. Then it was place 542 when I went back out and back in again at same point total. They must estimate your rank and only finalize once event is over.

This slot actually looks very nice. Many good SS options so there is a decent chance to get something worthwhile. I don’t spend much on this game. I save up my diamonds I earn and when I get 20…I cross my fingers. :) I am hoping to get the Kurofune ship to go with my mast that allows bomb to attack twice. Frankly, I will take any ship because I currently have The Flower. Weak ship. I just have a decent bow and mast to go with it.
