Hi @stedman42! Yes the update was forced but the timing of when the actual system forced update occurred depends on what platform and where in the worl you play the game. Forced updates occur on Android devices much later than everything else.

Do you mean to say that players have been able to keep their game open for going on 5 days? That’s how they are still playing with the destructometer? That would take some serious dedication.

I curious how you explain the card difference. I can watch a vid for a CvC or MEBC and those guys conststantly get 2-3 cards. Now when I perform exactly the same, or even better sometimes, I am only given 1 maybe 2. And when has a 100 FP ever received 3 cards in a room? Regardless of how much damage they do in the room it NEVER happens. Based on video evidence I am sticking to the theory that your FP absolutely correlates to how many cards you receive in return.

I do agree top spots in MEBC are riddled with cheaters. It is lava and there are multiple videos posted of people getting a gargoyle glitch for long periods of time and racking up big points. So it is possible still when there is lava at least.

@joeb use Leo like Terence. He is pretty forceful if you just fling him and forego the snot shooting! Try using the low extra bird cards for clean up/survivor piggy shots. Save the higher FP Birds for bigger shots with more damage potential.

The only time you have to use all the Extra Birds is in MEBC. Otherwise just use Stella all the time.

I look at the DC Streak as a bonus. If I get there great, if not it’s no different than it was a week ago. Still don’t spend gems. I think there are more gifts and apples available now on the DC when you do rerun it.

The first RR Tournament was pretty lame. I do like the adjustments they made for the second. Everyone in my bracket was within 50 FP to start. Some leveled up due to the Hat Event during the tournament. It’s nice there is now 24 hours to play.

Really tired of the blantent cheating in CvC too.

I can agree the timing of the roll out was poor. This type of change should have happened with the new season.

Some have not updated their devices and are playing on the old MEBC system. At some point they should force the update. Dan Chan made his first run on Monday in the old system and his re-run came as the #ExtraBirdChallenge.

Removing the destructometer means every player is given the same number of opportunities to score. Large FPs can earn 2-3 cards in a room, mid FPs earn 0-2, and low FPs are needing two rooms to generate one card. This is a huge discrepancy in scoring opportunities.

Yes, most of us are earning significantly fewer room coins. But it wasn’t so long ago that they weren’t even part of the deal, so technically they are an added bonus. While my overall score sucks my placement in MEBC has been amazing! I am earning twice the rank points that I was under the old system. So I am in favor of giving it some time to see if it works.

The only place you are forced to use Leonard is in MEBC. Otherwise pick which one you want to use. If you need help figuring out how to use them there are Support Groups on Face Book for each bird that have videos and tips. Just fling Leo like Terence, he makes some good boom! Use Hal and Terence for the survivor pig shots in MEBC since they are probably your lowest and most useless cards.

An entry gets you Feathers, even if you don’t play, so that’s cool. I think everyone should just refuse to pay gems and take it at face value. Gem hacks don’t make Rovio any money, so if paying customers stop spending maybe they will make an adjustment. I really liked the suggestion @oliverfrancis made about having three chances each round, that’s it. If they want gems make it a small entry fee into the tournament, like 20-60 gems. Of course, the matchups would be wild if this were the set up so who knows what the fix would look like.

@demonjin Just watched a You Tube video from 2 months ago and this was the break down of the pig cost they had in the run. They did make it to floor 60 but no jackpot Egg.

20+50+100+200+400+800+1600+3200+3200+3200+3200+3200+3200 = 22,370

Another player here mentioned spending around 20,000 in gems as well to reach floor 60. A player posted in the AB2 chat group just this week they hit the jackpot Egg for a total of 700 gems. Sounds like, based on our small sample size, you’d want around 20,000 in gems to reach floor 60.

@cagier, while that type of ‘poaching’ is distasteful there is no rule against it. No need to report unless there were really crude or offensive comments too. Clan leaders can join online chat groups where they warn each other of these types of players. They also share players that leave mid battle. You might even be able to PM the leader of the clan that wants your players.

@angrybirdspro that is a great tip! Thanks! Could be one of the reasons the snowflake spell is so rare.

I also find it very useful in rooms with lots of balloons tied into structures. The rumble from throwing the spell card is usually enough to get things popping!

Multiples of the same bird in the arena is due to the order the opponent threw their cards. You are playing a prerecorded run of another player. The card show how they were thrown, not the order in which the other player received them.
