    Actually Fartbubble is quite decent once you know how to play her- the trick is to bank her bubbles off of other objects rather than shoot targets directly.

    Back working here too

    Yes, crashing here too (iPad iOS v12.4.6). I’m not connected to Facebook (I don’t even have an account) but that’s not to say it’s not the Facebook APIs embedded in the app that are causing the problem.

    I wonder if it will be like a weekly thing- alternating between eggs and coins starting each Monday…

    Working fine here on an iPad Air 2

    Okay, so with 2 overpowered bots in the Spark Run I’m completing them in 4-5 segments (not counting the junk segment)

    @andrewinireland

    @exientgreg just make the Astrotrain appear at the end of the current segment- where it would usually appear on normal games and the old Spark Run

    Just hit 200 Tokens, and the next milestone is 200,000 points. For 250 tokens. On a low value/low appearance target day.

    @exientgreg Thanks Greg- just a couple of points:

    • Only subtract the coins once the run is over. This way if the game crashes during the run, the player does not lose those coins. Likewise the number of plays (I think it’s currently 2 per day).
    • I think the cost per play needs to be reduced by about a factor of 10. Or have some form of exponential increase rather than linear for the cost/level.

    @ abv You hit the nail on the head there- it isn’t worth wasting gems on crates of pigs and coins.

    @grimlockdown I have wondered in the past if R/E are deliberately sabotaging the game to try and shed players. I’m sure that once the licensing fees for using the Transformers IP are higher than the amount of money the game is pulling in, they’ll be pretty quick to pull the plug.

    This “update” definitely feels like it’s designed to reward those of us that are in the “God Tier”, i.e. those of us who have been around longest and have accumulated large hoards of resources. I currently have 32 million gold which means I can easily play the Spark Run for about 4-5 months at the top level. Which means I will be able to promote my bots faster than newer players. The old Spark run was a level playing field, this one tips the hand in our favour.

    Did a second run today- 16 segments, 17 with the junk segment.

    @andrewinireland

    I noticed since this event began, that’s there been one player per day with the promoted bots, the rest are using the usual. I wonder if R/E are salting the leaderboards so that those who paid for bots get an easy ride for tokens by only competing (and having an competitive edge) against those who did not pay.

    The extended run (I’m hitting 10 segments, 11 after the junk segment you have to do once the Astrotrain is called) is a bit like the Watching Paint Dry endurance test. It’ll probably be better once I get the promoted squad in play but now I’m doing 120% more work for only a 20% uptick in Sparks.

    The Astrotrain call needs to be fixed- it should appear at the end of the current segment rather than require you to do another segment for junk points.

    I was just thinking- maybe it’s a sly nod to “2 Girls, 1 Kup”…

    Andrew
    @andrewinireland

    Nope “Krup” definitely fits…

    Andrew
    @andrewinireland

    I accidentally promoted Krup which means I’ve been using it for this event. Highlights include:

    • Wasting gems to upgrade the damage on pistol and rifle, only to find that Krups weapon does not do any damage, it just moves things around the screen.
    • Apropos the above point- it’s impossible to destroy Boss Pig or his missiles- the best you can do is teleport them off screen (but they do reappear).
    • Extra long weapon cool-down time- I’m guessing it’s about 10 seconds between reloads. Upgrading for faster reloads doesn’t appear to do anything.
    • Annoying habit of locking on to objects behind indestructible objects, and then emptying the clip trying to shoot it. Cue 10 second cool-down time.
    • Add to all this that Glassor has been nerfed- it now take 3 hits to destroy stone. And it’s inability to target enemies when they are literally the only thing on screen.

    @andrewinireland

    Well I managed to hit 10,000 tokens with about 2 hours left of the event. I spent 120 gems all together, which is a massive saving of 1880 gems against what I was being offered the bot for in the shop.

    @andrewinireland

    I think that the reference to “rioting” is very telling…

    Andrew
    @andrewinireland

    @exientgreg unfortunately that’s going to be too late for anyone trying to gather enough tokens to overpower (especially any bot that’s in the 20+ level bracket)

    Andrew
    @andrewinireland

    I’m surprised that they haven’t come up with a Weekly Challenge ‘War Pass’. For €22 a week, you too can get to shoot at the objects required to earn tokens.

    Andrew
    @andrewinireland

    Yes, best thing about missile day is the total lack of missiles. I’m maybe seeing missile silos on about 20% of the runs (so, 1 out of every 5 runs).

    Andrew
    @andrewinireland

    So, question for all those who bought a War Pass in season 1- Is it still valid for season 2 or are you required to pay again?
