AggieGuy@aggieguy
DC today is 4-4-6 and I can’t get past 5 on the final level. Tons of special pigs, useless crap in the way, immortal micropigs, and each room needs 2-3 birds.
angrybirdspoop@angrybirdspoopYet another blatant gem grab day (4/1/2019)
There was even a fireman pig in level 1 of DC, I failed once on level one, but able to complete the DC without paying gems.
Nearly all levels were among the hardest.
I got lucky on level 2 of KPP with Stella floating the boss off. Otherwise it usually got stuck on top of the middle platform.
Then there was revenge on level 3, couldn’t even reach the KP with all birds, the best bet was to clear the top structures that obstruct the route to the orange portal. But you still need a suitable bird that could aim through the portal, and other birds to beat the KP to death. How many birds were you suppose to have when you came to this room? There was no guarantee you could finish it even if the level was place at level 1 of KPP
Didn’t even bother to try again as I was late for a few minutes to collect the reward of a clan event (what’s the point to limit the time to collect?), already in a bad mood.
angrybirdspoop@angrybirdspoopUpdate: finally finished the stage and KPP without paying gems, wasted 4 birds and thought I would give up. Fortunately Matilda somehow bypass those balloon pigs and crap in the middle and went through the orange portal to knock the KP off the screen. Remember to save her till this room.
DJLarryt@djlarrytEchoing @aggieguy 2019-01-03 I gave up after 3 tries on today’s 4-4-6 blatant gem grab. Couldn’t even make it past screen 4 on the 3rd round with all the bird stoppers in every screen and random placement of four structures in every room, especially since there are stones all over the place that just seem to pop like fireworks in the sky. I also noticed the birds were weaker today based on my direct hits against pigs and buildings causing minimal to no damage whatsoever. Every screen takes at least 3 birds to clear so there’s no way you can even make it to the KP screen without paying.
I hope Rovio’s “total user experience” exercise is also recording how many times I abort screens and basically exit the game for the day, which is often. Maybe then they will see that players only put up with so much bullsh*t before the ‘non-engagement’ point sets in.
The irony is that they are using a ‘bully’ technique to get your cash, which only works so far. They think the more they anger you into defeating the game by pushing you to believe you actually can, the more likely you are willing to make a knee-jerk purchase to finally do it, only to start the process again the following day. Truth is there is better player retainability and more cash possibilities when players enjoy the game and keep playing, then they are willing to invest in it further… not when you push them against a wall and demand their lunch money.
Myself, I have paid ONCE for something in AB (and that was the ‘chest bonus’ at the beginning of it all, the one that Rovio quickly reneged on and took away) so after that point, my trust in this whole escapade has gone down to zero. Rovio is not getting one more cent of my cash EVER and can now consider me a leisure player, logging in 2x – 3x week at most. Sorry Rovio, but this type of ‘user experience’ just isn’t worth my time nor money.
RizDub@rizdubUh… are we playing the same game? Because my DC/KPP experience today was nothing like what y’all are saying. My KPP was 3-4-5; one of them was one of those where you just keep flinging birds and stones at the boss until his health depletes (didn’t seem too rigged to me), and the other two had clear exit points. None of the screenshots provided by @angrybirdspoop were in my lineup.
This seems kind of suspicious, since my lineups were the same as previous days’ screenshots…
AggieGuy@aggieguy@angrybirdspoop is a day ahead. You’ll likely see his DC & KPP tomorrow.
And on his round 3 final room, I’ve beat it previously by using Bomb to clear the upside down structures. If Chuck is angled correctly, he can be launched into the pink portal and come out, hitting the king pig from underneath. Also done it with Red, Stella, and Blues, but Chuck seems to be the easiest since he can be shot off when in the right spot. He’ll end up under the balloon pigs, or if you clear out all of that as well, he can roll off to his demise or Gray can knock him off.
Angry Turd@puffsYou guys are all better than I am: When I see a six rooms, I immediately quit :)

Discord Group Chat: join.vikingbirds.comKevinn@kevinnIndeed, seeing too many rooms after just waking up makes me feel cold inside too! :’)
Buster@doulgasIf you have the same 4-4-5 as I today, prepare to spend a lot of time or a lot of gems, or both. Took me three tries to get through the FIRST level (when does THAT happen?), with 4 birds to clear the first room. Seems like a breeze except you never seem to have the right birds at the right time.
If you get that far, the last level is easier. KP room is trampolines and fans. Ignore everything else and use the second trampoline from the left on the bottom to clear the obstacle from the trampoline on the far right. That’s the only way to reach KP that I could find.
Buster@doulgasKPP wasn’t too bad. Stella is useful for the last room to send KP off the screen if he’s perched on the platform in the middle.
angrybirdspoop@angrybirdspoopActivate Matilda when she is just at the left of that balloons structure, she will be launched right into the orange portal and pushes the KP to the pink portal, the KP will probably fell to the bottom and out of the screen, it can be instant victory.
But this move is more risky than using the lower route.
SB311@sb311I have a 4-5-6 DC today, cluttered to the max like always now, and I reached the boss once with two birds, but I wasn’t able to do anything.
Now, I can’t make it through room two on level three because they have a super high structure that can only be reached with matilda, hal or chuck or by some miracle a metal ball being blown over there. It’s not enough all the other stuff they put in a room to waste birds, now they are making things pretty much unreachable.
Also, I noticed I have apples once again as one of my prizes. Very annoyed that they are offering those only every other day during this hatchling event and double feathers. I have been feeding him to get the 3000 feathers and I have not been able to replenish like I was before these “improvements” to the user experience.
RizDub@rizdub@sb311 I don’t think the apple prizes are random.
Have you noticed that you can only collect a certain amount of apples (typically 3) within levels in any 24-hour period? The DC/KPP prizes work the same way. The DC/KPP events reset later than the apple count does, so if you complete one DC/KPP after the apple reset, and get apples as a prize, you can play another DC/KPP within the next 24 hours, before the next apple reset, and get a spell as a reward instead.
Does that make sense?
DJLarryt@djlarrytWow, when did Red’s shout right in front of a pig stop being effective? I swear today I’ve done it at least three times and it didn’t so much as push the pig over. Also pigs today are able to fall all the way from the top of the screen, hit the ground AND get hit by debris and still survive.
Also KP challenge today, every KP is weighted down +1000% and lands flat wherever he might end up, especially in corners and impossible-to-reach nooks. Gave up after two tries because couldn’t get past second wave even after hammering him with 6 birds and life bar wasn’t even down to 80%. Pure garbage.
Rovio if you’re trying to guarantee a person will lose interest and NEVER pay for your game then this is definitely the way to do it.
SB311@sb311@djlarryt, agreed. I finally made it to Level 3 of the KPP and it was the slime one we had a week or two ago and I had four birds so I was pretty confident that I could beat it. The debris on the upper ledge seemed like it had been messed with because a direct hit with Terrence into the pig into the debris did nothing and it wasn’t stone. I don’t know, but it seemed fishy. :/
Not the exact one but this was the third level of my KPP today, 1.5.18:
</p>
angrybirdspoop@angrybirdspoop@sb311, I have got your DC and KPP for two times, same ones for Silver and Bomb’s Levels, maybe I played too late on Friday that it passed 0:00, the first time I finished the whole thing Without paying any gems, but the second day was a disaster, paid 180 gems, even failed the slime level you posted, as the balloon didn’t pop and floating with a vertical wood bar, those crap completely blocked every route.
I paid a total of 420 gems for Saturday, including 240 in level 10 of arena. Because Bomb’s level lagged behind. I want to get more feathers. I got 60000 bomb’s feathers within these 2 days, including a yellow 25k card, I think it’s worthwhile to waste those gems for this time.
SB311@sb311Today was easier for me. I was able to get through both without using gems and received an extra rare chest from the KPP. It’s so nice to have exits for the boss pigs.
AggieGuy@aggieguyThankfully the DC and KPP were not hard today, although the DC took me two attempts because I just had one of those rooms that ended up taking 5 birds. Made a bad shot and then micropigs that just would not die.
The KPP took me four because of the room that @sb311 posted. I know how to do it, but for some reason I just could not send piggy to his demise. Finally managed to get through it.
Buster@doulgasDC today was a one-shot effort for me, meaning I quit. A 4-4-6. Magicians in most rooms, structures scattered all over, many with just one micro pig that takes a separate fling. Even so, I was sailing along level 3 with strikes and birdies but still couldn’t reach room 6 with any birds left. Probably beatable, but it took way too much time to get through all those rooms for the chintzy rewards.
jo-ha@jo-haYeah, same here @doulgas, I saw the first stage and its four room, thought about trying it for a second but quit immediately.
It really is a shame, because DC and KPP was actually the only thing that kept me from leaving AB2. But now… I don’t think I get to spend my leftover gems because I am simply to annoyed by that waste of time.angrybirdspoop@angrybirdspoopDC for both 7 and 8 Jan were very difficult. All were gem grab stages. With 6 rooms boss levels, I could reach the first boss, with only one Stella remaining, that’s the one full of gravity wells with a Foreman Pig in the middle. I gave up.
The 8 Jan one was totally hell, 6 rooms water level, there was a structure with three micro pigs supported by tiny balloons respectively, at unreachable altitude. Only Bomb could destroy them with blast radius or Matilda and Chuck could destroy one pig at a time, those birds were of course at the bottom of the stack. Wasted 5 birds in room 2, I quit the DC immediately, what the…
SB311@sb311Had a 4-4-6 DC today and it took me a bunch of tries but I got lucky and the pig was sent all over the room and finally went through the correct tunnel and flew to the left. I was so amazed because I only had 2 birds after I had to waste bomb on a micropig in room 5.
My KPP was a 3-4-5 sequence and the first two bosses were okay. I knew how to beat the third, but I had to pay 60 gems to finish the boss pig off because I didn’t want to play it again and I messed up with my first bird.
angrybirdspoop@angrybirdspoopI tried again and finally finished the DC (4-5-6) and KPP on 8/1/2019, the boss room turned out to be a easy one, it could be beaten with one shot. The main challenge was the 5 rooms before it. You have to be very lucky to get there, as each room was infested with undead micro pigs.
The KPP was not hard, only challenge was the first stage, since you have the full flock, it won’t be a problem. The third one was piece of cake.
RawDataSystems@rawdatasystems@angrybirdspoop, same rooms here.
The boss room of DC was a nice surprise after the PITA of getting thru all the previous rooms.
First boss room of KPP was playing difficult with me, because the pig kept swallowing all the pounding I threw at it, without taking much of a damage. I ended up buying three additional cards and even with those it was a close one. Fortunately, the second and third boss room were much easier for me.
