Well I figured out the Golden Mooncake thing in case anyone is interested (although it seems like I’m the only one who is actively trying to get highscores in Seasons GE these days lol).

First off, BIG thanks to @rifle for replying to my PM with a detailed response stating when, where and how he got his 220k+ score.

So it seems that scores of 210k and above are only possible specifically in the Piglantis version of the game (2.4.1, possibly 2.4.0 but I can’t confirm that). I know for a fact that the PC version produced such scores (I got 220k on that version myself) and by all accounts it looks like the Android version was able to get these scores as well (from what I’ve been able to gather from comments and such). It seems doubtful that iphone ever had the option, mainly because I’m fairly certain that I’ve tried on that version myself but also because there’s only 1 high ranked iphone user on the level and he/she may have just used a different platform for this level (like I do). Anyway I can’t confirm that.

The reason for the discrepancy is that Rovio decided (for some dark reason) to put the structure with rocks and stuff higher up in the Piglantis release than in all other versions (literally all other versions). By higher up I mean actually more altitude. Here are some screenshots to illustrate:

As you can see the Piglantis version has a structure that is much higher, so that when the rocks fall they are able to generate more speed and as any Angy Birds player worth his salt knows, faster travelling rocks produce higher scores when they impact with another object/surface.

So it’s basically another bug in the glitchtastic Seasons GE series. Honestly it isn’t really worth it if you’re considering competing on these leaderboards (not that I’m trying to discouarage competition, just saying). There are 4 major glitches:

- Big Present, unattainable since like v 1.5.1 or something
- Easter Eggs Youtube level, which I’m pretty sure is still doable
- Big Basket, but I’m like 80% sure the glitch has been fixed sowewhere along the line
- Golden Mooncake, which evidently is now impossible as well

Disregarding the Youtube level, you’ll be missing out on 100k+ points :-( It’s kind of sad because the Seasons GE levels are actually really fun. Oh wellz.

Anyway, @amslimfordy it may be prudent to but a disclaimer or something on the 3star walkthrough page just to make sure that nobody else wastes their time on this level trying to get a score that just isn’t possible anymore. Hmm… to that end I guess I’ll x-post this (well, a summary) to the comment section of the Golden Mooncake level.
