I’d almost forgotten about this leaderboard, since it’s been down so long. Glad i found it again and input my scores. I find I’m shocked to see just how far below the curve I am on some of these.
For a brief moment, finalizing the interface and getting this live was atop the to-do list. And then the iPad 2 jailbreak landed and priorities shifted.
Hey, everybody has to have a chance to tinker once in a while. Just like the new desktop computer I mentioned to Fuji in the new Sync thread. Every so often, I hear it’s siren song, but I can’t do anything about it until I come off the road, which won’t be for a while yet.
Haha this place has been pretty dead lately. Tried GE-31 numerous times but jus couldn’t come near to Fujitoast’s 137k score

For now, I hope you all enjoy the new setup. The images were a non-trivial addition: Not only does it go against the general theme of the leaderboards, but it is also extremely necessary since the Golden Eggs are not numbered in ABS.

Reposted from an earlier comment. I shot at a 60 degree angle to straight thru the 3 rings in the middle, ending with a hit at the Golden Koi. Everything just explodes I guess. But it seems the key is having some firecrackers get stuck in the pile of rocks. They’ll cos the rocks to spin and eventually explode, yielding massive points.

How does you find Angry Birds Seasons Golden Eggs Leaderboard? I can not find it where the other leaderboards is.
The page existed before but was not released publicly at the time. This leaderboard can’t be found in the pull-down menu for now, but you can go there by clicking on the AB Leaderboards.

BTW how are you guys goin’ to handle the ‘nokia’s new years egg’ issue?
Well, a few things. First, it seems that any Nokia user who accessed that Egg a few days after New Year’s actually has the correct level. That means that Rovio was aware of the mix-up and fixed it. So, I think when Nokia gets their next ABS update, it will fix that issue.
More importantly, the Nokia-specific level actually yields far lower scores. So it won’t be like the Top Score is from a bugged or different level; Nokia users will just be hurt a little by it.

I’m still missing 2 golden eggs (about 180k) and I’m 69th. With them completed I would be 50th ! as you said.
Improved several of my scores in the last few days and got really lucky with the spinning flower glitch in the Big Basket (92k) so am 3rd on the SGE leader board for now. C’mon jaberou and thetoddman – give the top 2 a run for their money!
I’m trying, but this morning I thought I’d lost all my scores in the seasons. I got lucky I was able to restore with my back up. :) I think thetoddman is sand bagging and will probably come in with 40K plus to take the lead?!

On Pot o’ Gold I wait for all of the coins to self destruct and then shoot nearly straight up so that the bird falls directly on the pig.

Hey Slim, why aren’t there golden egg pictures on the individual leaderboards? I always have to keep a tab with the overall leaderboards up for reference to golden egg numbering.
It was placed here because of the confusion if one was to enter EE golden egg scores. Pictures on the original golden egg leaderboard sounds like a good idea!
Sorry, what I meant was that on the public leaderboards, there are pictures of all the Seasons Golden Eggs. But when you go to your profile’s leaderboard to enter your scores in, there are no pictures to refer to so you know which Golden Egg score to put in.
I’ll ask BirdLeader about this. Maybe we can add it and have it collapsed by default.

Summer Picnic GE #21:
The highest that I can possibly get is what is posted at 72960. Almost 5000 points below the average.
I’m sorry to ask, but what am I missing? Any help would be appreciated. I’ve tried bouncing this thing off everything. Hundreds of shots. It’s a one shot deal so I really don’t get it.
If this has been previously addressed, my bad. If there is a glitch I don’t know about, my bad. But at this point, flummoxed on those scores!

Sometimes the pigs fly off the screen so far that they do not register. Try zooming out to “capture” more of these. Also, scores will vary based on the amount of collateral damage done to ice blocks, pitcher, etc.

Yes, I saw the two small pigs up top fly off the screen many times. They have never registered best I can tell. Tough luck for me. That would bring my score to 82xx.
Is this a glitch OP? Hopefully will be fixed. Playing on the Iphone 3gs.

probably the best you can hope for here would be if those two pigs collided midair. I am guessing that is how the higher scores occurred.
I’ve been watching the flight path of the two pigs. So far as I can tell, they are always exactly the same. I was hoping for the same thing….that they would collide. No luck.
They will never collide. Not possible by the physics of the app.
That’s what I thought. So, what are you saying? That I have to hope that somehow the pigs getting tossed get counted off screen? I’ve tried over a 100 shots easily. No counter offscreen so far as I can see.
Trying to find an answer for you, I just played the level a few times (and got a new personal high score in the process, Thanks!) The biggest difference I am seeing between my scores is how many of the little rocks get smashed, they look to be about 1,000 points a piece. My best is still only 76,9xx, so there is room to improve
I have a score if 82,900 on this level and consistently score over 80,000 since I get credit for the last pig as it pops on the right.
There have already been two discussions about this. One on the level walkthrough page, and one earlier on this page.
I will have to try this level on my iPad or my Kindle over the weekend to see if the larger screens allow for better capture areas than my iPhone. I have never received points for those two little piggies zoomed in or out.
Thanks for looking at it Burbman. Yes, there are a few items to break that will up the score. Glass, the balls, pitcher. Personally, I think it’s the pigs I haven’t been getting credit for. Usually with these no brainer GE’s, shoot it enough and you’ll get some decent score. It doesn’t matter, by the physics of the level, whichever way you hit the rocks to start the level. Hit them, skip over them, doesn’t matter. Just explode the first TNT and the rest is up to the game. I would think after the over 100 shots, the pigs would be counted.
I guess just keep trying. Seems odd.
Just to chip in here – my main platform is iPhone, but it’s impossible to get higher scores on it unfortunately. I tried on my pc version and immediately got higher scores. I guess it’s just one of those things! :(
Ok, after a somewhat scientific study, I have found a consistent difference between platforms on GE21 based on catch area. I just played the level 25 times through to the level completed screen on each of four devices with ABS seasons installed, plus one of the devices has it installed in both regular and HD format. Here are my findings:
iPad played in standard def – High score 72,870, Low of 66,270, average 69,406
iPad played in HD – High Score 82,210, Low 76,750, average 79,578
first iPhone 4 – High 78,560, Low 72,580, average 74,873
second iPhone 4 – High 76,310, Low 72,540, average 74,772
Kindle Fire – High 83,170, Low 75,510, average 80,039 NEW HIGH SCORE! Woo Hoo!
Conclusion – Tablet in HD format has catch area large enough to capture both little pigs, iPhone 4 catches one, iPad standard def misses both. Also the pitcher and glass in the Kindle version must be made out of plastic instead of glass because they only break about half of the time versus most of the time in the ios devices.
Nook Color: Low:78830 High:82020 Average out of 10 tries: 79783.
This is exactly what I thought. On the Iphone 3GS, no way no how. It is a no brainer level and after must be over 200 tries, you’ll get that 82xxx score if it is able to count the pigs. On the 3GS, simply unable to count the pigs.

This discussion makes me wonder about many of the scores while using the iphone 3GS as my only platform. There are numerous levels, glitches aside, (Santa hat comes to mind as a glitch that I can’t take advantage of for scoring purposes. By the time I started playing this, a few years after release, the Santa hat glitch was fixed. I think I started playing when Rio was already out.), where I am so far off the top score that I just shake my head in amazement. I just figured…well…those players know something I don’t know. They’ve come up with some shot pattern and target selection that I am not figuring out.
I’m not saying their scores aren’t valid. They are so far as I know. And, “Slim”, would find them out anyway.
But I am saying that as a result of this discussion, I wonder how often the Iphone 3GS doesn’t count something, preventing those top scores.
For example….very often I will receive credit for a pig destruction before the pig is destroyed. It might be destroyed upwards of a second later, but from what I can see, I’ve already got credit for it. So at the point of destruction, you get no credit, since you’ve already received credit. Hopefully, anyway. Hopefully, I’ve tracked it correctly that the 5k pig destruction points I received before pig destruction is for the pig that is about to die, and is not points received for something else going on during the play.
This in-and-of-itself is flawed. Getting credit for something before it’s destroyed opens the door for many scoring anomalies and resultant questions. Both good and bad.
The most I would be doing is getting the Iphone 4 on replacing platforms. The wife hates that I dabble in this game as it is. :) And using her Ipad to play this wouldn’t go well for me. Double :) :)
There does remain the very real possibility that there are many players much better than me. And they have unlocked knowledge that I don’t have. For example, I’ve seen my utilization of the white hen, and using it with extreme tactical efficiency, to plan for the head popping off to be used in amazing ways. This is but one learning curve. I’m sure there are many others that the top players have figured out that I haven’t.
But pre credit of a pig destruction does open the door for questioning scoring.
So it is what it is. I’m not going to get wrapped around the axle about it. It’s just things that make you go hmmmmmm.
Well, as a primarily iPhone 3GS I can sympathise with your concerns about points not being collected for things flying off screen. I don’t, however thing it is too common, and I think that this is the only level where there is a significant difference between scores obtained on the iPhone and other devices. I also use have the PC version, and I almost always get about 10k higher on the PC for this level. Other levels, on the other hand, I have about the same, or slightly less, due to me not playing PC as much. I think often there are blocks that fly and break off screen, which could lead to scores 2-3k less than that on another device, but I wouldn’t have thought it would be much more than that.
Regarding the potential to get high scores on a 3GS, I wouldn’t really know, as I only have 1 on Seasons Free, which I beleive to only be obtainable to iOS users. I have had a couple on this leaderboard as well, but they’ve been overtaken now :( I have a few scores that I’m within 1-2k of the top score though, so I believe on the majority of levels, there is no difference in potential between the iPhone 3GS and other devices. There are I guess some levels where we are at a disadvantage, but I reckon these are the minority!
It’s an interesting point you made about early scoring for things, and not something that I’d noticed before, so I’ll keep my eye out for this. I am aware of one ‘glitch’ in ABo Birdday Party where a cake wasn’t giving the points it was supposed to, but that has now been fixed. I’ll pay more attention to the score counter now and see if I can get it to occur on my device too.
I think the best way of of obtaining high scores is to be really patient, and REALLY lucky. These seem to be the biggest ways of getting the top places. There is of course still the skill element of knowing the best angle to fire a bird and the best time to use the speed boost, drop bomb, etc, and that comes from experience, and links back in with the patience (and time!) If you can just sit there for a couple of hours (read: days!) then eventually you’ll get a shot combination or lucky 1-birder that you didn’t think was possible, and you’ll have yourself a higher score.
Personally, I don’t have unlimited time, so I’m just trying to get the average score on the ABN leaderboards, and that’ll do me! :)
I’m in the same boat Laurence. I gave up a long time ago trying for world tops. Takes too much time. When we were collectively solving the ME on Seasons Greedings 1-16 before Rovio lowered the threshold of total destruction, someone posted, I think fujitoast?….posted…while you’re waiting for Rovio to lower the threshold, there are plenty of other things to do. One of the things he listed was beating all the averages. So reluctantly, I started down that road. Having three stars and beating all the averages are two different animals. And it took up too much of my time.
But it’s done. EXCEPT…….for this level we are talking about with the pigs not being counted. Therefore the * on my record. But as I said, it is what it is. There is a defined difference in scoring, at least in this level, between the iphone 3gs, iphone 4, ipad, etc…..and I’m at the bottom of having a platform that counts those pigs.
I’d be curious….is there ANYONE out there using the iphone 3gs where those pigs are counted on Summer Picnic GE #21? I seriously doubt it.
And that opens up a whole scoring can of worms.
I don’t know wtf just happened but somehow I improved my New Years egg score by 8k – up from 140k to 148k – and for the moment am at the top of the leader board! Not a big lead, though, and Mr. Potato is always good at scoring more points …

Wow, I didn’t even know there was a leaderboard for the GE’s…I guess I’ll enter my scores in all though they will probably be pathetic seeing as I just did the egg levels without trying for any high scores or improvements…but now that I see all this great competition I will be driven to go back and redo them all!!! Fun stuff ;-)
They’re not pathetic at all. It’s a pretty good start.
Even if you think your scores are bad, no problem. Try improving on levels which are chain-reactions, you might get a lucky shot.
Sorry iamMighty, I just squeezed past your SGE #33 score. This level is definitely worth more attempts, as I could see at least another 1k point possibilities!
LOL! What is it with you and Mr.Potato? Yesterday I improved on 3-4 levels which made me rank 2 but today it’s again Mr.Potato and to it all off, you took my highscore but I look forward to reclaming it and get a highscores on these levels!

At first I thought I saw 111,???.
My score was 113,780.
But the real highscore was 130,890!
My score is 125,140 now.
I use PC most of the time, but I use an Android sometimes. (Like Easter eggs 1-5)
Yeah, got the big egg for EE! (Coincidentally, today’s Easter. :)
Rafflo’s scores in GE 13 and 19 are top scores with a questionable distance from its runner-up.

The egg numbers in the big picture of Easter Eggs does not match my numbers.. either revise the picture or have a few alternates for them that cant get all 19 of them.. I for instance only can get 18 of them
Our numbering is just a convention. The Eggs within the app are no longer numbered.
What platform and version number are you playing? There are no known issues with Golden Eggs in Seasons in the current version.
