@hudiehans – No, there is not a separate paid version. There is the FB version or the mobile app.

As for seeing the news, all you have to do is click out of it. Takes less than a second. If I’m missing something, please explain.

If you are looking for ABF answers, you are honestly better off looking and asking in that forum, instead of General Discussion, for quicker answer. Either works in the end though. :)

I know this thread is old, but for anyone coming around that looks – ABF is still available via Amazon, it just depends on your device itself. On my older Kindle Fire HD 7, it quit working, just as original poster stated. On my newer version Fire HD 7 (without the Kindle in the name!) it still works just fine. :) Hope that helps.

@hendricus – since you have friends already, I’m going to assume you are connected to Facebook. Using browser, go into game as usual, when you open it, your inbox should open automatically. You can send gifts through it, and collect gifts your friends have sent you. If it does not, then just click on Inbox in lower right corner.

It is better if you let your gifts accumulate before collecting. Not long though, a week or so, then click claim all. Send gifts separately and everyday. Ask your friends to do same. (Gifts reset every day. I don’t remember exact time. I send mine out at about 9:30PM, EST, or before 2:30PM the next day. Gifts have already reset at that time. Just pick a time and try to send close to it every day.)

Try using a different browser. I was not able to do it via mobile through Puffin. I was able to gift using Opera via laptop. I know others were able to use SeaMonkey, Torch, Firefox. Some were able to use Chrome, others had problems with it.

There are some other browsers that worked, but what I listed is good place to start.

Not all players with high star count are cheaters, and most don’t play even considering the league play. They compete against friends.

No matter whether you are in Wood league, Gold league, Diamond or whatever, cheaters stink. Forget them though. Hook up in or with FB with friends who play and compete against them. You’ll push yourself harder. :)

@brendasleeper, if this is a recent thing (last couple of days), then you are having same problem as others.

It has to do with new friends on your list, someone or more than one, that you recently became friends with and had never gifted before.

Hopefully Rovio will fix soon, it started Friday, around the time of update.

If you know who they are, you can UNcheck their names, and try to gift as usual. If you have mobile application of the game, you can still gift those. After gifting everyone else as usual, go into mobile game app, go to Inbox, Send Free Gifts. At the top of page, enter names one by one, clicking on them and then clicking send in upper right corner. Repeat until all are sent.

To double-check, go back into browser, FB, the game… Inbox, Send Free Gifts and make sure they were sent.

Remember though, gifts reset daily 0:00GMT.

@dingbat- I’m not on my game right now so can’t answer, but, you can go into your game and find it.

Go into your shopping cart, or shop, whichever your device shows, click on Slingshots, and then scroll through the different ones available to you.

Jingle Sling is available to all. As is, Wood Chipper sling, Stone sling, Gold Sling and of course the original sling. Oh, and the Glass sling. When getting to the two top League levels, the Bouncy Sling and Diamond Sling will become available automatically as it is earned. Those two, you do not purchase, they are gifted.

Sorry I couldn’t answer exactly, but that will get you the info, as well as what each sling does.

Yes, the Jingle Sling is a good all-around sling, but in certain situations another is better. Like any other tool. ;)

For power to pretty much go through anything, the Bone sling. Came out at Halloween. Have been told that the Gold sling is the same thing, yeah, I’ve seen both in action. Nope, not the same. IMO. And face it, anything that lets bats fly is cool. 😁

It may also be issue with Windows phone app store itself.

I know for me on my Kindle, it takes longer for apps to be available, and that includes updates. Has something to do with making sure that apps are safe to download, so developers have to go through a lot of hoopla to get the apps in app store.

Maybe, I don’t know though, the same is happening in your situation.
