So, just to update. Rovio did end up giving me back my pearls and gems and linked them to my Facebook. Just needed to uninstall and reinstall after they updated. And I can confirm they are indeed linked to FB. Things mess up if you get rewards without logging into FB of you notice you don’t have the same amount of gems/pearls (like from an uninstall).

The 1,000 black pearl price is because of the diamond slingshot. Not really about the bird rank. Plus, they look neat.

Spells were already leveled according to your lowest bird rank. They only recently updated so it will show in your card deck.

It appears you used Silver. If so, that’s probably the worst one too have for that room. But, you probably could have just flung him normally and not use his special, and that should’ve just slightly pushed the train without flinging the Boss.

It would have been 1 attempt had the level not time out while the King pig was still moving! He had a fraction of health left! Basically, what you really need is Terrence for the boss…

Not that I know of… I can’t really distinguish. I’m not sure if there even are bots. There are some really good players out there. I can get a really high score on some rooms and totally blast the opponent’s score…

The first bird he uses could have been in his first hand… So, he would start with a score of “0”. Then fling Terrence. Get a strike and fill up his meter. Then he gets a bonus card for the meter, and it’s Terrence. Then, by pure luck, he gets that new Terrence card in his hand to replace the card he already used (the first Terrence). Then, he decides to use that as his 2nd card.

Remember what I said: The birds appear in the order that he *used* them. It puts Terrence as his 2nd bird because you used it for his 2nd bird, not because he already got the bird before scoring.

What @cognitive and I are saying is that the birds appear in the order that they are *used*. Not necessarily what his first three cards are. He first uses a Terrence (one of his three original cards), gets a strike, and then fills up his meter, which awards him another Terrence. By luck, his new 3rd card (after using one of the original three) ends up being that exact Terrence that he was just awarded. Then he decides to use the new Terrence in the next room.

The only blocks that I’ve noticed not change to ice with Blizzard is the odd square wood (which appears to be stronger than normal wood).

Actually, the way you see the opponents’ birds are ordered in the way that they *use* them. So, if they use a Terrence first and get an extra card, it’s possible they were extremely lucky and the new card was a Terrence and ended up being their third card. So they would then use another Terrence in the next room (or same room). I one time saw a guy with three Blues… poor chap. His score barely moved :P

Actually, I have figured out that stars are mostly determined as such:

10 stars = 90-100% more than their score
i.e. Opponent gets 4.9 million, you have to get 9.8 million.

9 stars = around 50% more than their score
i.e. Opponent gets 4.9 million, you have to get 7.4 million.

I don’t have the exact math, but that’s pretty much what I keep in mind as my goal when I look at their scores.

Actually got a strike on the boss pig with Silver. Just waited for the snow pig to sleep and then did the loop on the left flower (right under the boss). Boss pig fell on the balloon holding the rocks and then on the TNT below. First rock that hit popped him!

Well, the reason why you probably get mostly 10s despite them *appearing* to have the same sling as yours is because they probably don’t have the same sling as you do… There’s a known glitch that causes the opponent’s slingshot to mirror yours despite them having a wooden or bronze slingshot. This does nothing for scores, however, so you are not getting ripped off or anything. It’s funny because you end up getting a lot of 10s because you’re going up against people with lower level Slingshots!

Also, you might want to re-edit that pic you posted… Lol. You blacked out your name and profile pic, but on the right side it isn’t blacked out… :P

For those wondering: the trick is to clear the bottom area first to prepare for the boss to swoop right down the hole. Hopefully, you have an extra bird to push him in if he doesn’t go down.

Actually, if you have an FB account linked, then you somehow get disconnected from FB, it will revert to one of those “Red #38012” type of names. I’ve had it a few times and I was lazy to change it back to my FB name until after I played for a bit… Lol.

YES! Finally got it. 8th attempt. Pig Inflater…

I was so lucky. I kept getting strikes! So I had so many birds in the final room. Worked like a charm, so he finally got down the hole! I was so tempted to use gems earlier because I got frustrated with those stupid teleporter pigs. I’m with you on that @sambeaver
