I agree that they are very slowly making these available. I haven’t paid too much attention their passive abilities but I don’t play all that much anymore.

Finished in 1st with 111K. 2nd had only 88K so there was no real danger there :p.

Got 6K Matilda/6K all/6K Bomb on the first roll –> 20 rank ups. Average rank is now 65 with the lowest at 60 (Treasure Hunters).

I need 4 more arrows to get the Elite. And I’m sitting on a 20K lead over the person in 2nd. I only used stamina drinks today to get to the GPC sooner. I have burned through probably about 50 FE though re-rolling when I get the low roll or no items.

@angryjohnny Sorry to see you go. I have also reduced the amount that I play the game. I quit arena after this season and will only gain mastery and play the events. I do enjoy the collecting aspect of the game too. I just can’t justify putting the time into arena anymore.

@jamairoqui Yep, that’s me, but don’t expect any more competition from me. I only played because of the Arena Bounty and the shards.

The usual combination is either Chuck with Mage or Thunderbird to help lower the health, Blues with Spies to further lower their health and then Bomb with your best headgear and weapons to rage chili and knock everyone out.

Other people may have other strategies for this but that’s my usual lineup.

@angryde You had nothing to do with my position. I was there all week. I though I might be able to grind out enough this morning to get to 12th but with less than an hour left I still had 3K to go so I just gave up. I like the events better anyways, there’s more variety and better rewards.

I am DONE with arena. I have made it to Diamond league almost every season since the third and the amount of time that is required to continue to move up is getting to be too much. I don’t always have time to spend hours grinding points with my kids and work so yeah…DONE. I got into Diamond last week and this week’s board (as @angryde can attest) was pretty ridiculous. I did my goals and played a little extra and still wound up in 14th and knocked back to Platinum. I had almost 50K and the person in first had almost 100K by the end. I just don’t have the time or patience for it anymore. I will keep doing the events and leveling up my birds but I have no more love for arena.

Came in 2nd. Got there in the last minutes of the event without using any stamina drinks. My team lost by almost 100K too. But I spun 2.5K all/Matilda/Chuck. So 12 rank-ups and it puts my average Mastery at 64 with ranges from 58 (Treasure Hunters) to 70 (Wizard and Paladin).

@puttekula The Coin and Dice set for the Blues. It improves your chance of winning the coin toss.

@angryde Awesome for you. I love that set for PvE levels (sometimes use it in arena too but I prefer the Bones set there). The chain/splash damage combined with Red and his Dragon set are devastating.

@jamairoqui I do the same thing. I only enchant to level 5 or 6 because of the return level. I also only enchant the one or two sets for each bird that I use the most. I totally agree that I would probably enchant farther if the return were better. I am sitting on 298 shards right now but the other thing that keeps me from enchanting is the raised snoutling cost. That has really slowed down any enchanting I wanted to do. Also the level cap increase and the fact that I have to build up a new collections of level 72 set items.

I just got my first Mythic Emblem (Shroud) off a friend’s AGPM. But I rarely spend LC on the arena GPM so I don’t expect to get all of them anytime soon.

I’ll add mine to the mix. Mostly working on Paladin and Wizard but almost to 70 on those. Then I’ll work on Tricksters and Seadog.

@datguygamer Well, there are 14 headgears that have not been offfered. Even if we get one a month it will still be February or March of 2018 before we have all of them.

I would guess it will be the same ones offered in the last boss event. Like @datguygamer said, it will probably be Guardian, Lightning Bird, Druid, Cannoneer, and Rogues.

With the last boss event, I got my elite headgear at the beginning of the event like some other people so only the headgears that I didn’t have showed up in the chest rewards. In my case I will be offered Lightning Bird, Cannoneer or Rogues since those are the only ones I don’t have in the 2nd headgear slot.

I got 1st, but I had a very inactive board. The person in 2nd behind me was 40,000 point behind me. I only used 20 stamina during the last gate to get to the GPC sooner and got my 4 runs in.

I also got 6K all and 6K Chuck/Matilda. With that came 22 rank ups. My Wizard is not M68 and Paladin is M67 (my highest classes). Everything else is in the M58-M63 range with an average of M62.

@pointless I think that was sarcasm. There have been a lot of changes recently that are making harder and harder to be f2p. Like you mentioned, this change could mean the difference between top 3 and LC.

I’ve had it happen too. You can get around it by signing in to FB before you go to the nest or roll McCool’s GPM before singing in to FB.
