angrybirdspoop@angrybirdspoop
This stage is totally random, I tried two times and finished with luck. I thought I was going to lose with just Matilda left and the KP still had a lot of health, she hit the boss. The KP was suddenly blown out of the screen by the fans, through the left of the slingshot.
I remember this stage
alsoappeared in KPP before I attended my friend’s wedding a year ago. I have paid a lot of gems but when the KP had one tiny slit of HP left, I was running out of gems, I was absolutely outraged and quit the game.SB311@sb311Was this the one you had for the last level of the DC today?
Buster@doulgasThat’s the one. I saw the suggested solution too late to try it.
SB311@sb311Tried KPP over five times, but could not get past the second level. I had the kp down the hole but he hit the bouncy ball that was strategically placed and he popped back out and landed where I couldn’t hit him with anything. Very frustrating. :(
Paid 20 gems in TOF and was able to get 2 apples to complete the daily task. I don’t like the apples being a part of daily tasks. I like the 25 stars better.
AggieGuy@aggieguyYep, same problem for me in the DC. Tired it twice and gave up. I don’t need the frustration right now.
angrybirdspoop@angrybirdspoopThese two are the most recent stages for DC, I didn’t get the snowy level at all.
SB311@sb311@angrybirdspoop, just beat the KP in the second picture for my DC today. I couldn’t beat him on the first try so I lost out on a free rare chest, but I was able to beat him on my second try without using gems. :)
Once again, I cant get past the second level in the KPP. I really don’t have gems to spare so I probably will have to give up.
Update: I was able to beat the KPP without using gems on my first time all the way through and received a free rare chest. :) Received a bunch of pig inflators and mighty eagle spells. Woot!
AggieGuy@aggieguyI had the second screenshot that @angrybirdspoop posted today. Beat it by simply luck because just like in that picture, piggy exited, stage left. I think I likely could have beat him to death based on the birds I had remaining if he had stopped flying around.
Made it though both the DC and KPP today on the first attempts.
RawDataSystems@rawdatasystemsIn last room of todays DC the Boss Pig dropped (well, more like hovered!) tightly into far right lower corner and after that, no bird was able to move it little bit left to fall out. Sometimes it feels like some rooms are scripted (read: rigged) to fail. Seeing the Boss Pig floating exactly to bad spot like it did, felt just like that.
jo-ha@jo-haToday’s Boss level in the DC is an old one – and an easy one as well. But for some reason it took me multiple tries to get through. From the past I remember that the Boss dies after all the balls and those little structures fell on his head easily. But for some reason, he tanked all the rocks, Mathilda’s egg, Silver and bomb, still lying there – almost dead. This happened 4 times in a row. On the fifth attempt I got him with the last bird (and I entered the boss room with 5-6 birds every time).
Did anyone else notice that today? I mean, come on, I played this level at least 100 times before, never had such a hard time beating it. Did Rovio increase his life because they didn’t see a chance to put a wall or a new teleporter anywhere?Psygaz@psygazSame with me. Dislodged the Boss at earliest opportunity, then brought down the rocks and both structures onto him. Silver then Mathilda. Not even a bandage.
angrybirdspoop@angrybirdspoopI think that is not the original level, i haven’t tried it out yet, but base on your description, it is level 1793. Which is visually identical the the previous level, but the boss has very high amount of HP and with like 6 or 7 rooms before. I could only complete it in pity mode on the map.
jo-ha@jo-ha@angrybirdspoop: oh wow, thank you for the information. This is the only reason I stopped playing the trail at some point. I can’t believe this kind of lazy and bold recycling of Boss levels… I should just stop to wonder.
Buster@doulgasSame here. I’ve done this one countless times. It’s usually a breeze, but I gave up after multiple attempts, even once with 60 gems. Not willing to spend all day on this hunting an immortal pig.
DJLarryt@djlarrytI did notice when playing this today that there have been some slight little tweaks with mechanics on this recycled board.
1)Â as mentioned before, KP has way higher stamina and higher gravity (causing him to plummet straight down after rolling so he conveniently lands behind the ledge where no birds can hit him dead-on
2) the flower at the top used to shoot the bird directly into the KP and for this reason I would select Terrence to bash him. However when using Terrance on today’s challenge, I noticed him hit the ledge a bit lower which means the angle of the flower had been changed downwards slightly so this shot will no longer work.
3) again, angles adjusted so the rocks can potentially all roll down and completely miss the KP after he lands in the pit. Another suck job by Rovio.
Gave up after 2 tries. I’m not wasting my time on an impossible to kill pig (even if you got a full roster of Silvers or Mathildas you still couldn’t succeed).
AggieGuy@aggieguyI got lucky on the DC and had all my heavy hitters left plus Blues so I managed to win, but still only due to barely earning one more bird which thankfully was Matilda.
The KPP was not winnable as far as I ever figured out. Could not get past the first king pig.
black-panther@black-pantherSame here, DC very hard and KPP unbeatable…
jo-ha@jo-haToday’s DC and KPP was a walk in the park compared to yesterday. Though I paid 60 gems on the last stage of KPP, but this was kinda my own fault – screwed up one bird and that was it.
@djlarryt: I used Terrence as well, but when I shot him up there, the boss even got stuck on his little plattform – he didn’t even fall down. He just stuck to the rock on his left.RawDataSystems@rawdatasystems@jo-ha, they were very nice today! Slightly messing up with one or even two birds does not mean instant fail. Just the way I like it. Very relaxing experience.
For those thinking DC and KPP today were too easy, I have an solution: Start by throwing away first 3 birds on every level and throw away more if it’s still too easy for you. ;)
Buster@doulgasToday was a nice day too. Sailed right through DC & KPP on one try. I did cough up 60 gems on the very last room of KPP to finish him off, only because I had wasted a couple of birds and didn’t want to take the time to start all over.
Joe B.@joebI hope Rovio keeps up the style like today’s. I also agree, and really like how the DC and KPP were nearly all just 2 rooms per stage. Luckily I didn’t need to repeat any to beat the bosses but it cuts out a lot of time compared to the long 4-5 room Stages.
If they wanted to up the difficulty at least it wouldn’t eat up more time replaying long beginning stages and leaves more opportunities to develop a better strategy by playing it more times.
AggieGuy@aggieguyToday wasn’t bad, took two tries to get though the DC and KPP, mostly because I ended up with micropigs in really bad spots that cost too many birds. Ending up spending gems to end the KPP, mostly because I just didn’t feel like doing it again and all I needed was 1 bird to knock the pig to his death after he got hung up one a piece of ice.
I don’t mind challenging, but I loathe ones which cannot be beat, short of spending lots of gems.
Buster@doulgasI couldn’t make it past the 2nd level of KPP. The pig kept getting stuck on the far right magnet (or whatever they are) and even with 5 birds, I couldn’t finish him off. Whatever I threw at him he just rolled back to the same spot. Obviously I’m missing an essential piece of the strategy on this one.
Joe B.@joebOnly way I beat that KPP boss was with Stella floating him away…direct hits with Matilda bomb and silvers flip did a small smidgen so it appears the hp was seriously increased on this stage.
I failed to beat the 3rd KPP boss however since I couldn’t get any birds to release him from that high perch. It looks like those bombs have to be activated but most birds can’t even reach it. Idk if only a lucky shot from maltilda is able to dislodge him?  I remember doing it once prior in the past but I forget how.
Buster@doulgasThat makes me feel a little better….
